FLUID DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
20210362146 · 2021-11-25 ·

There is disclosed a fluid distribution system for distributing fluid from a single source to a plurality of downstream receptacles. The system has a distribution manifold with a single inlet and a plurality of outlets arrayed around a circumferential outer periphery. The outlets may be directed to the different receptacles which each have their own vent filter, or each receptacle connects back to the distribution manifold for common venting.

SOLUTION COLLECTION DEVICE WITH EVALUATION ELEMENT

A blood testing device for detecting hemolysis in a blood sample is described. The blood testing device comprises an housing for containing the blood sample. The housing has a treatment window and an optical zone formed therein. The blood testing device further includes an acoustic transducer positioned to selectively generate acoustic forces directed into the treatment window of the housing and a control unit for selectively actuating and deactuating the acoustic transducer to permit colorimetric analysis of plasma within the blood sample.

REAGENT MANIFOLD WITH IN-LINE FILTER

Automated biological testing systems may advantageously allow users to perform some maintenance or upkeep of the system, such as replacing or refilling reagent, or replacing gaskets, hoses, filters, and other components. A manifold seal and filtration system including a gasket, retaining ring, and filter is usable with a manifold of such a system to transport reagent from a bottle to the testing system. The gasket includes features to prevent leakage and erroneous installation, and may be replaced by a user during normal maintenance or to select a gasket material to accommodate a particular type of reagent. The retention ring and filter include features to prevent particulate from passing into the testing system when reagent bottles are changed, and to prevent accidental displacement during removal of the gasket, or flushing of the manifold to clean the filter.

DEVICES FOR EXTRACTING A FLUID SAMPLE FROM A CLOSED CHAMBER AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a device for extracting a fluid sample from a closed chamber and providing access to a volume of the extracted fluid sample for subsequent collection via a sampler device associated with a cartridge for delivering the volume of extracted fluid sample to a compatible diagnostic instrument for analyzing the fluid sample.

EXTRACTION CELL FOR EXTRACTING A SAMPLE
