The invention relates to a crusher unit (10), in particular an impact crusher, having an impact rotor (11), having at least one swivel-mounted impact rocker (20), wherein a crushing gap (15) is formed between the impact rotor (11) and the impact rocker (20), wherein the impact rocker (20) can be swiveled along an adjustment path by means of at least one gap-adjusting means (30) to set a gap width of the crushing gap (15), wherein the impact rocker (20) is mounted such that its weight force acts in the direction of a reduction of the crushing gap (15). For a high degree of operational safety, the crushing gap can be readjusted during operation in that at least one retaining device (50) is provided, which uses a retaining force to flexibly counteract a swiveling of the impact rocker (20) in the direction of the impact rotor (11). The invention also relates to a method for setting the crushing gap (15) of a crusher unit (10).

A counter-rotating pin mill for grinding food products includes a housing assembly comprising a first and a second housing part. A first and a second grinding shaft are arranged coaxially in the housing assembly on a grinding axis. A first grinding disk is arranged on an end of the first grinding shaft. A second grinding disk is arranged on an end of the second grinding shaft. The first and the second grinding disks are parallel to each other. A bearing device is formed by at least two slide assemblies arranged parallel with the grinding axis in the first housing part. The at least two slide assemblies comprises a slide bushing arranged in the first housing part and a slide axle guided in the slide bushing and being connected with the second housing part. The first and/or the second housing part is displaceable along the grinding axis via the bearing device.

METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CRUSHING DEBRIS IN DRILLING FLUIDS
A crusher includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet at opposite axial sides, an impeller positioned proximate the inlet of the housing, and a shaft connected to the impeller and extending axially through the housing between the inlet and the outlet. At least two spaced apart support structures hold the shaft in the housing, where a plurality of dynamic blades extending outwardly from the shaft are alternatingly positioned between a plurality of fixed blades extending radially inward from an inner wall of the housing.

Horizontal grinder with upward rotating mill and contamination bypass
A hammer mill grinder includes a feed conveyor, a press wheel and a rotary hammer mill that is enclosed within a mill box. The mill box presents an intake opening for receiving feed material and a discharge opening for discharging reduced material. The press wheel is located adjacent to the mill box intake opening and is mounted at least indirectly to the mill box for vertical movement. The rotary hammer mill presents hammers that rotate, in cyclic succession, past the intake opening, the press wheel, an inside wall and a screen that is offset from the rotary hammer. The inside wall includes a contaminant bypass door that is able to open to allow a contaminant object to bypass the hammer mill prior to the screen and thereby exit the mill box around the screen to prevent damage to the hammer mill grinder.
