FLASH MILLING INSIDE A FLOTATION CELL
A grinding device suitable for operating inside a flotation cell which includes three zones including a collecting zone in which particles are collected though a settling process, a grinding zone in which particles undergo a size reduction process and a pumping zone from which milled particles are recycled to the flotation cell.
Agitating Mill
An agitator mill, in particular an agitator bead mill having a mill housing, in which an agitator shaft, preferably bearing agitator elements, circulates in such a way that a grinding chamber is configured between the agitator shaft and the mill housing, and into the chamber the grist is fed, transported by a fluid carrier substance, as a rule in the form of a suspension, wherein the grinding chamber is partially filled with grinding media, which are set in motion by the circulating agitator shaft and thereby the grist, carried through the grinding chamber by a fluid carrier substance, is crushed, wherein the grist, transported by the fluid carrier substance, is discharged together with the carrier substance through a sieve, which retains grinding media that arrive as far as the area of the sieve, wherein the sieve consists of several sieve elements arranged one after the other along the longitudinal axis of the agitator mill, the sieve elements being penetrated in parallel manner, with their surfaces flowing from the grinding chamber, and extend diagonally or radially to the axis, around which the agitator shaft circulates.
STIRRER MILL
A stirrer mill for the treatment of flowable grinding stock. The stirrer mill includes a milling container, a milling chamber delimited by the container wall, and a stirring mechanism having a rotor which rotates about a central longitudinal axis and has an inside diameter (d351). Tools, which extend toward the container wall, are attached to the rotor. The stirrer mill also includes an internal stator arranged inside the rotor. A grinding stock discharge channel is formed, between the rotor and the internal stator, through which the grinding stock passes to a separating device and, thereafter, to a discharge line. The milling chamber is at least partially filled with grinding bodies having a diameter (c). Above the internal stator is arranged a separating device with a diameter (d30). The distance (s) between the rotor and the grinding body separating device is given by the relationship: s=0.5.Math.(d351d30)5.Math.c.
Stirring Mill
A stirring mill, including a horizontally arranged milling vessel and a stirring shaft which is arranged therein so that it can be rotationally driven are provided. The stirring shaft has a first stirring shaft section adjacent to an inlet for material to be ground, which has a smaller diameter D24, and a second stirring shaft section adjacent to an outlet for material to be ground, which has a larger diameter D25 and in which a separating device is formed. Bypass channels leading into the separating device are formed in the first stirring shaft section.
Agitator ball mill
An agitator ball mill comprises agitating discs (18) on an agitating shaft, wherein two adjacent agitating discs (18) are bounding a grinding cell, respectively. The agitating discs (18) comprise grinding material passage openings (28) which are only arranged in the immediate proximity of a grinding chamber inner boundary (19), which connect adjacent grinding cells, and which have a radially outer boundary that has a distance R28 starting from the grinding chamber inner boundary (19) in the radial direction of the agitating disc (18). For the ratio of the distance R28 of the radially outer boundaries of the grinding material passage openings (28) to a radial extension R18 of the agitating discs (18), the following condition applies: 0.05.Math.R18R280.25.Math.R18. Otherwise the agitating discs (18) are closed.

The separating device includes a plurality of first and second screen segments with screen apertures, which are arranged in an alternating manner on a frame.

The media-circulation type pulverizer comprising: an agitating member disposed in a lower region of a pulverization chamber; an annular partition wall disposed to extend upwardly in the pulverization chamber; and a media guide member provided on a lower surface of the end plate of the agitating member, wherein the annular partition wall has a height set to be to of a height of the pulverization chamber, and the media guide member has a lower end which enters a space of the inner region of the pulverization chamber located inside the annular partition wall, and wherein a vertically-extending flow straightening blade is provided between said lower portion of the media guide member and an upper portion of the annular partition wall, and the media separation member is provided on the lower end of the lower portion of the media guide member.

A stirred ball mill including a grinding container, in which an agitator shaft having grinding elements is arranged, whereby a grinding chamber is formed between the grinding container and the agitator shaft, into which chamber the grinding elements extend and into which at least one inlet duct for grinding material opens and in which a dynamic separation device for grinding bodies is provided, the separation device having recesses for feeding back the grinding bodies, and in which the agitator shaft has at least one recess, which widens the separation device and extends in the axial direction into the grinding chamber for improved distribution of the grinding bodies in the grinding chamber.

The separating device includes a classifier rotor, which is arranged on the agitator shaft axially spaced apart from the grinding material outlet and has a rotatable rotor cage, as well as a screen unit, which is arranged within the rotor cage and which is fastened to the classifier rotor.
