REFURBISHED LIFTER BAR
In a method of making a lifter bar for use in a grinding mill, a refurbished lifter bar and a mould for producing the refurbished lifter bar, the lifter bar has a predetermined form and has a base member, and the method includes providing a mould having an interior space that conforms at least partially to the predetermined form, joining the mould and the base member together to form a cavity defined by the base member and the interior space, and filling the cavity with polymer and allowing the polymer to attach to the base member to construct a lifter bar having the predetermined form.
Method of making a lifter bar, a refurbished lifter bar and a mould
The invention relates to a method of making a lifter bar (1a, 1c) for use in a grinding mill (2), to a refurbished lifter bar (1b) and to a mould (3) for producing the refurbished lifter bar (1c). The lifter bar (1a, 1c) has a predetermined form and comprises a base member. The method comprises the steps of providing a mould (3) having an interior space (4a) that conforms at least partially to the predetermined form; joining the mould (3) and the base member together to form a cavity (4b) defined by the base member and the interior space (4a); and filling the cavity (4b) with polymer and allowing the polymer to attach to the base member to construct a lifter bar (1a) having the predetermined form.
Multi directional rifling and multi flow variable speed rifling for liner segments for crushers, reclaimers, separators and cleaners for products
A multi-directional tumbling cylinder for use in concentrating or cleaning of products such as dross, salt cake, slag, carbon blocks, both, or cast or molded metal pieces, wherein the tumbling cylinder is of length, the cylinder mounted upon a base, is rotated through the operations of a motor, with the cylinder capable of turning in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The cylinder has an intake end and an outlet, and a series of liner segments disposed therein, that interconnect together to form an inner cylinder, and the segments have a series of rifling provided upon the inner surface, and series of vanes formed upon their outer surfaces, with the riffling and vanes having sloped lateral edges, at select degrees, to provide for controlled movement and volumetric flow of product being processed, either towards the outlet, tumbled within its midsection, moving product back towards the inlet, for regulated processing and cleaning of such product. An entrance vane provides for the prompt or slower movement of castings into the cylinder for processing during its operation.
System With Securing Frame
A system includes a platform having an upper surface and defining a recess having a floor, the recess configured to seat a dish, and a movable securing frame that is movably connected with the platform, the frame including a lift support having an upper surface that is movable along a path from a first location that is beneath the floor of the recess, through the recess, to a second location that is coplanar with the upper surface of the platform. A motor configured to cause oscillation of the platform and the movable securing frame can be used. A method of using the system can include placing a dish above a recess defined by an upper surface of a platform, and lowering the frame with respect to the platform, thereby seating the dish within the recess.
DISCHARGE END WALL SYSTEM INCLUDING PARTIALLY CURVED PULP LIFTERS
A discharge end wall system mounted on a discharge end wall in a grinding mill. The discharge wall system includes a discharge end assembly that has a number of pulp lifter segments radially arranged on the discharge end wall relative to the axis of rotation, and a number of curved walls connected with the pulp lifter segments and arranged in pairs of adjacent ones thereof. Each trailing one of the curved walls has a curved leading edge surface that is concave in relation to the direction of rotation and, with a leading edge surface of a selected leading one of the pulp lifter segments, forms a continuous leading wall that is partially straight and partially curved. The leading wall is configured to accelerate pulp through the pulp chamber partially thereby defined respectively to a central hole, when the pulp chamber partially defined thereby is in the discharge condition thereof.
Grinding mill with securing frame
A grinding mill for pulverizing material includes a platform having an upper surface and defining a recess having a floor, the recess configured to seat a dish in which the material is disposed, and a movable securing frame that is movably connected with the platform, the frame including a lift support having an upper surface that is movable along a path from a first location that is beneath the floor of the recess, through the recess, to a second location that is coplanar with the upper surface of the platform. A motor configured to cause oscillation of the platform and the movable securing frame can be used. A method of using the grinding mill can include placing a dish above a recess defined by an upper surface of a platform, and lowering the frame with respect to the platform, thereby seating the dish within the recess.
Lifter bar, arrangement at grinding mill discharge end and method for disassembling discharge end of grinding mill
A lifter bar for an open-ended grinding mill that includes an elongated bar structure and at least one groove portion provided in the elongated bar structure. The groove portion is configured to open on the side of the lifter bar facing outwards from the grinding mill volume, when the lifter bar is mounted onto the grinding mill. The groove portion is provided with at least one through hole opening for a mounting member.
DISCHARGE END WALL INSERTS
A sleeve insert for covering one or more selected surfaces of one or more pulp lifters of a discharge end assembly including a discharge end wall of a mill shell partially defined by an outer perimeter wall thereof, the pulp lifters being mounted on the discharge end wall. The sleeve insert is formed to cover the selected surfaces to mitigate wear to which the selected surfaces are subjected when the sleeve insert is located in a predetermined position relative to the selected surfaces.
Process For Cleaning Dirty Post-Consumer Waste Glass
A method is provided to clean glass mixed with non-glass undifferentiated trash. In the method, the glass pieces are cleaned without washing the glass pieces with water or a surfactant during the cleaning process. The non-glass contaminants are liberated from the glass by drying and abrasion, and then removed from the glass by screening and density separation.
Lifter bar
A lifter bar for a grinding mill includes an elongate structural support defining a longitudinal axis and extending from (i) a first end transverse to the longitudinal axis to (ii) a second end transverse to the longitudinal axis; a plurality of structural plates extending along the longitudinal axis in spaced relation, where each structural plate is transverse to the longitudinal axis, and defines opposed edges. The lifter bar may further include at least two protective plate portions, each protective plate portion being mounted over one set of the opposed edges.
