A LIFTING WALL ARRANGEMENT AND A SEGMENT OF A LIFTING WALL ARRANGEMENT
A lifting wall arrangement at an end wall of a drum mill, having a plurality of segments which are removably installable on the end wall. Each segment includes an inner wall and an opposing outer wall. At least one lifting blade is arranged on said outer wall, such that the outer wall, the lifting blade and the inner wall define a discharge channel leading to a discharge cone. The inner wall forms a part of a sieving wall in the drum mill. Each segment constitutes an integrated unit adapted to be installed on the end wall. The disclosure also relates to a segment of a lifting wall arrangement and a drum mill comprising a lifting wall arrangement.
GRATE PLATE FOR A PULP LIFTER OF A GRINDING MILL
A grate plate for use with a pulp lifter at a discharge end of a grinding mill. The grate plate has a leading side edge and a trailing side edge that have complementary shapes so that a series of grate plates can be mounted to the pulp lifter in a circular or annular array. The grate plate further includes one or more sections of lifter bars arranged so that the lifter bar sections on a number of adjacent grate plates complement each other to form lifter bars. The lifter bar sections are shaped so that at least portions of the resulting lifter bars are inclined or curved in a first circumferential direction. At least portions of the complementary leading and trailing side edges of the grate plate are inclined or curved in a second circumferential direction of the array. The second circumferential direction is opposite the first circumferential direction.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING A LIFTING ANGLE AND METHOD FOR POSITIONING A GRINDING MILL
The purpose of the invention to provide a method for determining a lifting angle of a charge inside a grinding mill at a specific point in time and a method for positioning a grinding mill which is more accurate. Method for determining a lifting angle of a charge inside a mill body of a grinding mill being rotatable through a drive train, the method comprises the following steps of rotating the mill body; determining a reference lifting angle and a corresponding reference driving torque of the drive train at a reference point in time; calculating a fill factor for the reference point in time based on the reference lifting angle and the reference driving torque; determining a driving torque of the drive train; and calculating the lifting angle based on the driving torque and the fill factor.
Multi directional Rifling and multi flow variable speed rifling for liner segments for crushers, reclaimers, sepatators and cleaners for products
A multi-directional tumbling cylinder for use in concentrating or cleaning of products such as dross, salt cake, slag, carbon blocks, both, or cast or molded metal pieces, wherein the tumbling cylinder is of length, the cylinder mounted upon a base, is rotated through the operations of a motor, with the cylinder capable of turning in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The cylinder has an intake end and an outlet, and a series of liner segments disposed therein, that interconnect together to form an inner cylinder, and the segments have a series of rifling provided upon the inner surface, and series of vanes formed upon their outer surfaces, with the riffling and vanes having sloped lateral edges, at select degrees, to provide for controlled movement and volumetric flow of product being processed, either towards the outlet, tumbled within its midsection, moving product back towards the inlet, for regulated processing and cleaning of such product. An entrance vane provides for the prompt or slower movement of castings into the cylinder for processing during its operation.
LIFTER BAR WITH ATTACHMENT FORMATION
According to one aspect, a lifter bar may be provided that is formed at least partially from an elastomeric material and includes at least one attachment formation embedded at least partially in the elastomeric material. In other aspects, the attachment formation may include a longitudinal spine that may include apertures, may be substantially planar, and may include a track.
DISCHARGE END WALL INSERTS
An insert for covering one or more selected surfaces of a discharge end assembly including a discharge end wall of a mill shell partially defined by an outer perimeter wall thereof and a number of pulp lifters mounted on the discharge end wall. The insert is formed to cover the selected surfaces to mitigate wear to which the selected surfaces are subjected when the insert is located in a predetermined position relative to the selected surfaces.
Lifter bar with attachment point for hoisting
A lifter bar includes at least one attachment formation for use in lifting the lifter bar; wherein the at least one attachment formation is embedded in the lifter bar. A method of producing the lifter bar and tools for use in handling the lifter bar are also described.
