System and method for treating animals
A system for treating a tissue of an animal patient. The system may include a display and input device, and at least one instrument chosen from an impulse stimulator instrument and an acoustic oscillator. The impulse stimulator is configured to apply a percussive massage including one or more force impulses. The impulse stimulator is further configured to measure a response of the tissue to one of the applied force impulses to assess a condition of the tissue. The acoustic oscillator is configured to apply an acoustic stimulation including one or more acoustic pulses to the tissue of the animal patient.
SKIN CLEANSER
A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.
Prevention and Treatment of Sepsis Using a Simulated Exercise Device
A method of treating sepsis and septic shock is using a passive simulated exercise device is disclosed. The exercise device functions to increase pulsatile shear stress (friction) to the vascular endothelium. Increased shear stress stimulates release of beneficial mediators from the endothelium into the circulation that promote integrity of the endothelial barrier as well as to prevent its disruption by suppressing inflammation and oxidative stress. The latter is the basis for the deleterious effects of sepsis and septic shock. Failure to control integrity of the endothelial barrier promotes excessive leakage of fluid and proteins from the vasculature into surrounding interstitial fluid that can rapidly escalate into major morbidity, shock and death.
Massage Chair Having a Noise-Reducing Enclosure Device, Hammering Devices, and Oxygen Generation
The disclosure is directed to a massage chair having a massage chair frame, a massage system, and a noise-reducing, enclosure device. The massage chair frame includes a first end, a second end, a seat body area portion, and a back body area portion. The massage system includes at least one air massage element, an air pump, and at least one air valve device for regulating air flow into and out of the at least one air massage element. The noise-reducing, enclosure device includes an enclosure housing and noise-reducing material positioned inside the enclosure housing. The enclosure housing encloses the air pump and the plurality of air valve devices during operation during operation such that noise generated from or made by the air pump and the plurality of air valve devices during operation is reduced, contained or eliminated. Additionally, the disclosure provides additional features for improving user experience including hammering devices, heating acupuncture devices, oxygen generation, voice recognition control, a remote control pouch, and a wireless device pouch having wireless charging functionality.
Tapping Apparatus and Massager
A tapping apparatus includes a linear direct-current motor, a connecting member including a first end and a second end, and an elongated swing member. The motor includes a mover that moves along a longitudinal axis, the mover being connected with the first end of the connecting member, and the second end of the connecting member is connected to the elongated swing member. When the mover moves linearly back and forth, the elongated swing member rotates about a pivoting axis emanating from the connecting member. A massager including the tapping apparatus is also provided.
RECIPROCATING-HIT TREATMENT INSTRUMENT
Disclosed is a reciprocating-hit treatment instrument, comprising a body having a reciprocating mechanism, wherein the body comprises a main handle portion at the lower portion, a sub-handle portion at the upper portion, a base portion extruding from one side of the connection portion between the main handle portion and the sub-handle portion on the body, a reciprocating rod with the front end extending out from the base portion while the rear end fixedly connected with the reciprocating mechanism and able to perform a reciprocating motion in the direction of its own length under the driven by the reciprocating mechanism, and a treatment ball connected with the front end of the reciprocating rod; the main handle portion, the sub-handle portion, and the base portion are integrally connected, and the main handle portion and the sub-handle portion are connected with each other in the shape of a bar.
Battery-powered percussive massage device with pressure sensor
A percussive massage device includes an enclosure having a cylindrical bore that extends along a longitudinal axis. A motor has a rotatable shaft that rotates about a central axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A crank coupled to the shaft includes a pivot, which is offset from the central axis of the shaft. A reciprocation linkage has a first end coupled to the pivot of the crank. A piston has a first end coupled to a second end of the reciprocation linkage. The piston is constrained to move within a cylinder along the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical bore. An applicator head has a first end coupled to a second end of the piston and has a second end exposed outside the cylindrical bore for application to a person receiving treatment. A motor controller measures current applied to the motor and displays a pressure indicator responsive to the measured current.
