Lifter Bar
A lifter bar for a grinding mill is described. The lifter bar comprises: an elongate structural support defining a longitudinal axis and extending from (i) a first end transverse to the longitudinal axis to (ii) a second end transverse to the longitudinal axis; a plurality of structural plates extending along the longitudinal axis in spaced relation, where each structural plate is transverse to the longitudinal axis, and defines opposed edges. The lifter bar may further comprise at least two protective plate portions, each protective plate portion being mounted over one set of the opposed edges.
Method and apparatus for recycling asphalt milings
Apparatus and method for recycling asphalt millings containing bitumen and stone. A milling tube is provided having an outer tube and an inner tube axially aligned with and substantially contained within the outer tube, the inner tube having a diameter less that a diameter of the outer tube to thus define a mixing space between the inner and outer tubes. At least one of the inner and outer tubes is adapted to rotate relative to the other. An inlet is provided to the mixing space to receive the asphalt millings. A plurality of inner tube projections project radially outward from a surface of the inner tube toward the outer tube, and a plurality of outer tube projections project radially inward from a surface of the outer tube toward the inner tube. The milling tube facilitates the separation of the asphalt millings into bitumen and stone as one of the inner and outer tubes rotates relative to the other. Preferably, at least one of the outer and inner tubes contains an abrasive coating on a surface thereof, the inner tube projections and outer tube projections are comprised of wire rope, and an inlet is provided in the outer tube through which cold air can be applied to the mixing space.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CHANGING LINERS, THE CONFIGURATION OF WHICH ALLOWS THE AUTOMATED REMOVAL AND INSERTION OF LINERS OF A MILL USED FOR ORE GRINDING
The invention relates to a system and method for changing liners of a mill, the configuration of which allows the automated robotic manipulation of liners of mills for ore grinding in comminution processes. The configuration and operation of the system allows the task of manipulation to be improved, having a greater degree of freedom and/or flexibility in its movements, thereby providing a greater degree of certainty and efficiency to the method and thus optimising the time that the mill is halted for maintenance, and also preventing the risks to which maintenance staff may be exposed. The system comprises at least one support structure, at least one system for supplying and moving liners, at least one robotic manipulator system for manipulating the liners, at least one liner manipulation tool, at least one artificial vision system, and at least one control system.

A split pulp chamber insert assembly formed for installation in a pulp chamber on a discharge end wall in a grinding mill rotatable about an axis thereof. The split pulp chamber insert assembly include two or more insert elements, configured to cooperate to form a lining covering one or more portions of pulp chamber surfaces that partially define the pulp chamber in which the insert elements are positioned. The split pulp chamber assembly also includes a number of fasteners, for securing the insert elements in predetermined positions in the pulp chamber relative to each other to form the lining that covers the one or more portions of the pulp chamber surfaces.
