Paper shredder support assembly
A paper shredder support assembly for positioning a shredder above a receptacle includes a plate. A plurality of tubes is coupled to and extends from a bottom of the plate. Each tube comprises a plurality of nested sections so that the tube is selectively extensible. The plurality of tubes is positioned to support the plate over a receptacle. An opening is positioned in the plate. A shredder is positioned in the opening and is coupled to the plate. The shredder is configured to shred items that are inserted into the shredder so that shredded waste is expelled into the receptacle. A panel is selectively couplable to the plate to cover the opening.
BAG-CLOSING DEVICE AND SHREDDER EQUIPPED WITH DEVICE
A bag-closing device is disclosed which is capable of using general-purpose bags and which keeps the loss of capacity to the necessary minimum, and a shredder is provided which, even when shredded pieces of trash are stored in a bag, does not cause scattering of the shredded pieces of trash when closing the bag. The bag-closing device comprises one pair of horizontally facing winding shafts having tip parts for detachably holding a bag, which is open so as to allow objects to be put inside, at two facing opening edge parts from the outside of the bag, whereby the entire opening edge of the bag containing objects put therein is formed into a single horizontal roll-like shape by driving the one pair of winding shafts to rotate. In addition, the device may be provided with a cabinet, which allows a frame having one pair of winding shafts to be stored therein and to be pulled out therefrom together with a bag in an open state, and configured such that the one pair of winding shafts are restricted from rotating when the frame is pulled out from the cabinet whereas the one pair of winding shafts are allowed to rotate when the frame is placed in the cabinet. It is also feasible to construct a shredder having this bag-closing device installed below a shredding unit. In this case, preferably outer peripheral surfaces at the tips of the winding shafts are formed into a tapered shape.
One Hundred Sheet Dual Throat Auto-feed Paper Shredder
The paper shredder simultaneously shreds both manually inserted sheets of paper and sheets of paper that are placed in an auto-feeder input tray. Immediately above the shredding mechanism the input path is bifurcated. One branch extends essentially straight up from the blades and leads to a manual input slot. A second branch extends at an angle towards the rear of the shredder where an auto-feed roller lies at the bottom of an auto-feed slot. When a stack of paper is placed into the slot, the bottom of the stack rests against the auto-feed roller which grasps the top sheet and pulls it under the roller. The roller then pushes the sheet down the angled throat where a curved surface bends the sheet downwards and into the shredding mechanism.
ECO FRIENDLY MAILBOX
An ecologically sound and environmentally friendly mailbox apparatus comprising a traditional mailbox; a shredding device affixed to the underside of the mailbox; a hollow tube, having a first end and a second end; a hollow receptacle for collecting shredded material, and that is connected to the shredding device by way of the hollow tube, where the first end of the hollow tube is connected to the shredding device and the second end of the hollow tube is directed downward and is connected to the receptacle; and a vertically positioned pole located adjacent to the mailbox and the receptacle, whereby the mailbox and the receptacle are individually connected to the pole by a fastening means that holds the entire apparatus together. This apparatus allows an end user to shred junk mail before leaving his mailbox and prevent clutter in his home.
AUTOMATIC PAPER SHREDDER
An automatic paper shredder includes a shredder cover, a paper holding box, a shell, a paper holding plate, a paper holding plate inlet, a paper shredding component, a drive motor, a paper pressing plate, a paper pick-up component, and a waste paper bin. The paper pressing effect is improved through a spliced paper pressing plate, and the paper pick-up effect is improved through a damping plate, a soft rubber piece, and a convex rib, and thus, efficiency is improved. The automatic paper shredder has the characteristics of being highly automated, convenient to use, safe, reliable, structurally simple and cost-effective.
Vortex device for disintegrating material
A vortex device for disintegrating a material is intended for preparing fine powders. The device includes a cylinder-like housing (1) having a first inlet aperture (2) and secondary inlet apertures (4) for delivering an energy carrier. Outlet apertures (6) and (7) are disposed in the wall of the housing (1) and in the bottom, and a loading aperture (5) is disposed in a cover. The inlet apertures (2, 4) are configured along the full height of a side wall of the cylinder-like housing (1), moreover, the first inlet aperture (2) is oriented at a lesser angle relative to the radius of the housing (1) than at least two secondary apertures (4) and is opposed to the latter in terms of the direction of delivery of the energy carrier about the axis of the housing. Vortex generators (3) are disposed next to the secondary inlet apertures (4).

The roller then pushes the sheet down the angled throat where a curved surface bends the sheet downwards and into the shredding mechanism.
Shredder jam clear apparatus
A paper shredder having shredder cover and a motor coupled to shredder blades includes a shredder throat in proximity to shredder blades. The shredder throat has a moveable blade, and a fixed blade. A shredder jam grip has a projection in communication with a power switch plunger. When the shredder is in the NORMAL position, a throat gap is in its normal position and the projection positions the plunger to power to the motor. When the shredder is in the JAM CLEAR position, the throat gap is in its wide position and the projection positions the plunger to remove power from the motor.
LOTTERY TICKET DESTROYING DEVICE
A lottery ticket destroying device includes a housing, roller cutters mounted in the housing, a transmission gear set mounted on one side of the housing, a motor mounted on one side of the housing for rotating the transmission gear set to drive the roller cutters to cut lottery tickets into pieces. Each roller cutter has a plurality of helical shear grooves recessed into the roller cutter surface thereof. Each helical shear groove has a groove bottom surface, a vertical shear surface located on one side of the groove bottom surface and connected to the roller cutter surface and a chip-discharge sloping surface located on an opposite side of the groove bottom surface and connected to the roller cutter surface. Moreover, one end of the shaft of one of the roller cutters is combined with an elastic member to prevent the two roller cutters from being stuck.
Autofeed paper shredder with clip and staple removal
A paper shredder with counter-rotating shredder blades coupled to a shredder motor, including a paper tray having a floor and being shaped to receive paper. The floor has an offset slot therein adjacent to the counter-rotating shredder blades. The engagement wheels partly protrude through floor, adjacent to the offset slot. The engagement wheels frictionally engage paper and turn towards the offset slot to force paper into the shredder blades. Also, a dentate catch disposed in each corner of the paper tray temporarily holds an affixment while a sheet of paper held by the affixment is being frictionally engaged by the engagement wheels to enter the slot for comminution. A PAPER FULL sensor, a DOOR OPEN sensor, an OVERLOAD sensor, an OVERHEAT sensor, a paper-in-tray sensor, a paper-at-entry sensor, a SAFETY LOCK sensor, and a cover door open/closed sensor are provided, as are AUTO and MANUAL modes of operation.
