MINIMAL HIGH-EFFICIENT AIR FLOATATION MACHINE AND METHOD
A minimal high-efficient air floatation machine includes an air floatation pool body, a spiral water input pipeline, a return pump, an inflation pipeline and a dissolved gas pipeline. Upper and lower ends of the air floatation pool body are cones having a scum output pipeline and a height adjustable water output pipeline. The spiral water input pipeline has chemical addition ports (a), (b). By mixing chemicals with the sewage at high speed in the water input pipeline, a quick fully-mixed effect is achieved. The scum output pipeline is disposed at the top of the upper cone of the air floatation machine for adjusting the height adjustable water output pipeline to output scum automatically. The outlet of the return pump has the inflation pipeline and dissolved gas pipeline. The inflation pipeline enters into the inlet of the return pump to achieve automatic inflation after air is sucked into the Venturi tube.
Dissolved air flotation skimmings separation system and method
A DAF skimmings separation system 10 that processes SPN/DAF skimmings 11 received from a meat processing facility to separate water and SPN-content solids includes a heating chamber coupled to a processor chamber having one or more pressurized discharge nozzles that expels DAF skimmings onto a spatter plate to cause SPN animal components within the DAF skimmings to break into smaller pieces denaturing the molecular structure and allowing the entrapped moisture to be evaporated within a heated airstream in the processing chamber, for separating nutritionally valuable SPN while reducing moisture content. A method of processing DAF skimmings to yield dryer SPN with reduced moisture content is disclosed.
Flocculation basin inclusion or exclusion type water treatment apparatus using dissolved air flotation
Disclosed herein is a flocculation basin inclusion ion type water treatment apparatus using dissolved air floatation which includes: a flocculation basin which forms flocs by mixing a coagulant inserted into feed water and grows up the flocs; a contact zone to which fine bubbles are induced through a nozzle disposed at a lower part; and a separation zone which removes the flocs when the fine bubbles are attached to the flocs and the flocs float on the surface of water, the flocculation basin inclusion type water treatment apparatus including: a fine bubble forming part.
Saturator and water treating apparatus including the same
A saturator, configured for use in a water treating apparatus, includes a chamber, in which a first flow path through which first fluid flows is formed, and a plurality of porous membranes disposed in the first flow path, a second flow path formed within the plurality of porous membranes, through which second fluid flows. The first fluid is dissolved in the second fluid, or the second fluid is dissolved in the first fluid. Accordingly, a contact area between the first fluid and the second fluid is enlarged, and thus, a dissolving speed increases.
Flotation device
A flotation device having a flotation tank for receiving liquid to be purified, a saturator for receiving a pressurized liquid-gas mixture and at least one feeder. A line leads from the saturator to the feeder through which the pressurized liquid-gas mixture may be introduced into the flotation tank. The feeder includes a flow channel that has different flow cross sectional areas along the extension thereof. The flow channel may be a Venturi nozzle.
Water treatment systems and methods for poultry chillers
A water treatment system for a poultry chiller including a chiller tank is described herein. The system includes a float holding tank at a downstream section of the chiller tank; a fan at the downstream section of the chiller tank that is configured to blow float formed on a surface of the water in the chiller tank into the float holding tank; and a float removal mechanism at the float holding tank that is configured to remove the float from the float holding tank. Related methods are also described.
Biodiesel composition and related process and products
There is described a biodiesel composition and process for producing biodiesel and related products. There is also described related fuels and fuel blends comprising biodiesel. The biodiesel composition may be prepared from a mixture comprising fats, oils and greases from sewer waste.
Dissolved air flotation device
Disclosed is a dissolved air floatation device which includes a cyclonic flotation separation tank, arranges a return pipe for treated water and a return pipe for floating scum concentrically with respect to the center pipe of a swirling flow within the floatation separation tank, forms a descending water flow along with an ascending water flow within the flotation separation tank, thereby being capable of simultaneously separating settled suspended material and floating suspended material in raw water at an improved efficiency.
METHOD FOR RECOVERING PRECIOUS METAL
A method for recovering at least one precious metal from an aqueous solution containing the metal and particularly to recovery of silver and optionally one or more other precious metals from overflow of a sedimentation unit such as a thickener, a clarifier or a pond includes subjecting the aqueous solution to a micro and/or nanobubble flotation, wherein the pH of the aqueous solution is at most 1.5.
Method for reducing or controlling wastewater and pollutant from emulsion polymerization resin production
The present invention provides a method for reducing or controlling wastewater and pollutant from emulsion polymerization resin production, comprising the following steps: (1) optimizing an emulsion polymerization reactor to lengthen a cleaning interval of the reactor so as to reduce the volumes of reactor cleaning wastewater and pollutant discharge; (2) demulsifying latex filter cleaning wastewater and removing a latex material so as to reduce the volume of the pollutant discharge; (3) demulsifying the highly concentrated reactor cleaning wastewater, then performing flotation recovery; (4) mixing graft polymerization wastewater and 1,3-diene polymerization wastewater, then performing demulsification; (5) mixing the demulsified latex wastewater and condensation and drying wastewater, then performing a coagulation and dissolved air flotation treatment; and (6) implementing a biological treatment process on the effluent from the coagulation and dissolved air flotation treatment to remove an organic material, nitrogen and phosphorus. The method of the present invention has the characteristics of reducing pollutants at a source, increasing product yield, saving resources, using different treatment according to wastewater property, and lowering treatment cost.
