SPA CONTROL WITH NOVEL HEATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
20190201282 · 2019-07-04 ·

A spa control system where the spa's heater is disconnected from the power source anytime the water in the heater is at a higher temperature than that set by the user or more than an absolute temperature. Since the control system has a regular temperature management control, this will only occur due to a problem in the spa or the control system itself. Independent paths between a pair of temperature sensors in the heater and the relays that connect line voltage to the heater are provided to meet the safety requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Two sensors in the heater are co-located in a metal tube, placed near the heater element. A novel flow test to prevent dry fire is also taught.

BIOMETRIC HOT TUB TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for biometric hot tub control. A method for biometric hot tub control includes establishing a set point for a hot tub and electronically transmitting a directive to a temperature control system to heat water in the hot tub to maintain a temperature of the water at the set point. The method also includes detecting a presence of an end user in the hot tub and remotely sensing biometric measurements of the end user while the end user remains in the hot tub. Finally, the method includes electronically transmitting a directive to the temperature control system to change the set point in response to a most recently received one of the remotely sensed biometric measurements.

BIOMETRIC ENCLOSURE TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for biometric enclosed space control. A method for biometric enclosed space control includes establishing a set point for an enclosed space and electronically transmitting a directive to a temperature control system to temperature regulate an atmosphere in the enclosed space to maintain a temperature of the atmosphere at the set point. The method also includes detecting a presence of an end user in the enclosed space and remotely sensing biometric measurements of the end user while the end user remains in the enclosed space. Finally, the method includes electronically transmitting a directive to the temperature control system to change the set point in response to a most recently received one of the remotely sensed biometric measurements.

AUTOMATIC DISCOVERY OF POOL PAD EQUIPMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system and a method are provided for automatically discovering one or more pool devices of a connected aquatic system. The one or more pool devices can be provided in a form of one or more secondary panels and one or more pool components. A primary panel can broadcast a discovery message to identify the one or more secondary panels and/or the one or more pool components connected to the primary panel of the connected aquatic system. An identification response is generated and transmitted from the one or more secondary panels and/or the one or more pool components in response to the discovery message from the primary panel. The primary panel can receive and process the identification response and update a discovery status for each of the one or more secondary panels or the one or more pool components based on the identification response.

Hand washing timer

A hands-free visual timer enables a person to wash his or hands for the duration of time recommended by the Center for Disease Control. Upon activation, the timer displays an annular ring of thirty triangles and a first icon. After five seconds have passed, a second icon is displayed indicating the user should apply soap. After twenty-five seconds, a third icon is displayed indicating the user should rinse. After thirty seconds, the screen goes blank and all the triangles have disappeared. The central display of triangles is illuminated by a liquid crystal display. The icons are illuminated by light emitting diodes.

FOOT SPA WITH DISPOSABLE PUMP
20240216218 · 2024-07-04 · ·

The foot spa has a rotating drive hub and a pump. The hub has North and South pole domains encircling a rotation axis in alternating relation. The pump includes a housing and an impeller, the housing having a pair of sides and defining: a cavity having a center and a periphery; an intake that communicates with the cavity center; and one or more ports communicating with the periphery. The impeller is mounted in the cavity and: defines blades which are adapted, upon rotation of the impeller in the cavity, to draw water through the intake and eject water through the one or more ports; and includes a portion that is ferromagnetic and a portion that is not ferromagnetic, the portions: being adapted such that rotation of the drive hub causes rotation of the impeller and abutting one another, one being axially displaced from the other.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING AMBIANCE SETTINGS IN A BATHING SYSTEM
