Carrying Device for Receiving a Pipeline Element, Associated Transport System, and Production Method
The invention relates to a carrying device (2) for receiving pipeline elements (4) in a surface coating installation, having a main body (6), an attachment section (28) which is formed on the main body (6) and which serves for the attachment of the carrying device (2) to a ceiling-mounted conveying mechanism, and multiple cantilevers (8) extending laterally from the main body (6). Each cantilever (8) has arranged thereon a receptacle (10) with support feet (12, 12) arranged in pairwise fashion and spaced apart from one another, wherein the support feet (12, 12) are configured to come into contact with in each case one outer wall section of a pipeline element (14) in order to hold the pipeline element (14) between the support feet (12, 12).
PIVOTING UNIT FOR A HANDLING ROBOT AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
The disclosure concerns a pivoting unit for a handling robot for opening a flap (e.g. door) of a motor vehicle body, comprising a mounting flange, a gripper arm and a first gripping tool for gripping an engagement on the flap to be opened, the first gripping tool being mounted on the gripper arm, and a pivoting head for pivoting the gripper arm between an initial position and an engaged position. The disclosure provides that a second gripping tool is also mounted on the gripper arm, and that the two gripping tools on the gripper arm are adapted to be inserted in different insertion directions into engagement with the openable flap of the motor vehicle body, in particular from top to bottom for the first gripping tool and from bottom to top for the second gripping tool. The disclosure further comprises an associated method.
METHOD OF OPENING AND CLOSING DOOR OF AUTOMOBILE BODY AND DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING ROBOT
A door opening and closing robot includes: a door operating tool including an insertion and restricting portion; a robotic arm that moves the door operating tool; and a control device that: operates the robotic arm, wherein the door operating tool moves to a first reference position, then moves toward a first presence confirmation position; obtains a position of the door operating tool as a first evaluation position; and determines a deviation between the first presence confirmation position and the first evaluation position, when the deviation is less than or equal to a predetermined first threshold, detects failed presence of the insertion portion in a window groove. The first reference position is the operating tool which is inserted in the window groove and the restricting portion is in contact with an edge of the window groove or positioned above the edge of the window groove.
Spherical core spraying tool
A spherical core spraying tool comprises a spraying spindle and connecting rods; the spraying spindle is circumferentially provided with a plurality of protruding rings, and is axially provided with a strip-shaped groove; the connecting rods are disposed in the groove; one end of the spraying spindle is a power input end, and the other end is provided with a locking sleeve; the groove runs through the protruding rings. By spot-welding steel balls in an inner hole of a spherical core and fitting the spherical core over the spraying spindle, the steel balls are stuck in the groove of the spraying spindle, and the both sides of the steel balls are tightened by means of the connecting rods in abutting-against fashion, so that a plurality of spherical cores is fixed together with the spraying spindle, and the plurality of spherical cores can be spray-coated simultaneously, thereby improving the efficiency.
ADJUSTABLE AND FLEXIBLE HOOD PANEL SUPPORT
An apparatus for holding a hood of a vehicle open during e-coat application and painting. The apparatus includes a support incorporating first and second pairs of legs attached to spaced locations on right and left sides of an engine compartment. The two pairs of legs are connected at an upper portion of the legs. A hood support bar is connected to the upper portion of both the first and second pairs of legs and extends transversely across the engine compartment. A hood striker receiving bracket may be provided on the hood support bar. The apparatus is adjustable to position the hood striker receiving bracket in a range of vertical, transverse and longitudinal locations. The adjustability of the apparatus provides a flexible hood support that reduces thermal distortion or sag due to thermal load.

FASTENED MEMBER, COATING JIG FOR THE SAME, AND METHOD OF COATING THE SAME
A fastened member such as a hinge which is a metal fastened member to be fastened with at least one fastener to at least one attachment surface of at least one target object such as a construction machine to which the fastened member is to be attached, the at least one target object containing steel, the fastened member including at least one contact surface to make contact with the at least one attachment surface, the at least one contact surface at least partially including at least one exposure portion where material having a higher ionization tendency than steel is exposed, wherein a portion of the fastened member that is other than the at least one contact surface is coated with a coating.
FIXTURE FOR PVD COATING OF SPADE BITS
A fixture assembly for supporting a workpiece having opposing side walls defining a notch. The fixture assembly includes a base and a first member extending from a surface of the base. The first member has an outward facing surface. A second member extends from the surface of the base. The first member is parallel to the first member and has an outward facing surface. At least one adjusting assembly is configured for moving at least one of the first member and the second member to adjust a distance between the outward facing surfaces of the first member and the second member wherein moving at least one of the first member and the second member increases the distance between the outward facing surfaces of the first and second members and causes the outward facing surfaces to engage the opposing side walls to clamp the workpiece to the first and second members.
DEVICE USED TO TEMPORARILY RESTRAIN PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES THROUGH MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
A temporary restraining device is provided that includes a head portion, a central body positioned below the head portion, an upper gap defined between the head portion and the central body, and a base portion positioned below the central body, a lower gap defined between the base portion and the central body. The temporary restraining device maintains a predetermined offset between workpieces disposed within the upper and lower gaps for subsequent manufacturing operations.
Hinge brace for painting doors
A hinge brace for supporting doors to be painted is provided. The brace is connected to standard door hinge hardware using either the existing door hinge pin or a disposable pin of smaller diameter. By allowing the bracing of multiple doors at the hinge, the painter can more safely and efficiently prepare and paint multiple doors in one painting session. The hinge brace of the present invention accommodates supporting two or more doors for painting and saves time by not requiring the painter to remove door hinge hardware.
