The adhesive agent applicator comprises a nozzle configured to apply the adhesive agent, and a rotation arm connected to the nozzle, the rotation arm being rotatable with respect to the support member holder.
Paint baking method and door offset device for vehicle body coating process
A paint baking method includes a process for conveying a vehicle body while exposing the vehicle body to a hot air atmosphere to bake a wet coating film applied to the vehicle body. In the vehicle body, hinges and door offset members are attached between hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and hinge fastening parts of the side doors. The distance between the hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and the hinge fastening parts of the side door in a state in which the hinges and the door offset members are attached is longer than a distance between the hinge fastening parts of the main shell body and the hinge fastening parts of the side door in a finished vehicle state.
MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR USE IN CONNECTION WITH PAINTING
A mounting device comprises a collar part including a plurality of ramp portions on an interior side of the collar part, and a rotatable hub part comprising a plurality of protruding portions. The collar part is positioned around the rotatable hub part. When the rotatable hub part is rotated, respective ones of the plurality of protruding portions are configured to press against respective ones of the plurality of ramp portions and exert a force on the collar part which increases a dimension of the collar part.
SPHERICAL CORE SPRAYING TOOL
A spherical core spraying tool comprises a spraying spindle and connecting rods; the spraying spindle is circumferentially provided with a plurality of protruding rings, and is axially provided with a strip-shaped groove; the connecting rods are disposed in the groove; one end of the spraying spindle is a power input end, and the other end is provided with a locking sleeve; the groove runs through the protruding rings. By spot-welding steel balls in an inner hole of a spherical core and fitting the spherical core over the spraying spindle, the steel balls are stuck in the groove of the spraying spindle, and the both sides of the steel balls are tightened by means of the connecting rods in abutting-against fashion, so that a plurality of spherical cores is fixed together with the spraying spindle, and the plurality of spherical cores can be spray-coated simultaneously, thereby improving the efficiency.
Height-adjustable masking pallet assembly for arc spray applications
Disclosed are various pallet assemblies for arc spray applications. In some embodiments, an assembly may include a top frame comprising a plurality of recesses each operable to receive an electronic device, and a bottom frame coupled to the top frame, wherein the bottom frame comprises a plurality of support structures, and wherein each support structure of the plurality of support structures is aligned with a corresponding recess of the plurality of recesses. The assembly may further include a mechanical device coupled to the top frame and the bottom frame, wherein the mechanical device is operable to bias the top frame and the bottom frame relative to one another.
Device and method for wetting a sample with an aerosol
A device for wetting at least one sample by means of an aerosol, the device has: side walls, a base region which is bounded by the side walls, the base region adapted for receiving or interacting with a positioning device for positioning the sample, a cover region, which sits vertically opposite the base region and is bounded by the side walls. The device forms an exposure chamber and an aerosolizing device for producing an aerosol, which is arranged in the vicinity of the cover region. The aerosolizing device is arranged above the base region in such a way that the aerosolizing device at least partially covers the base region in a vertical plan view. A method for wetting at least one sample by an aerosol is also provided that includes the steps of: providing at least one sample, producing a cloud above the at least one sample in a position which at least partially covers the base region in a vertical plan view, and allowing the cloud to descend in the direction of the sample.

End effectors for robotic units used to open and close vehicle doors
An end effector is disclosed that is configured for connection to a robotic unit used to manipulate a door of a vehicle (e.g., during vehicle painting). The end effector includes a base plate; a sensor that is supported by the base plate; and a piston that is configured for engagement with the door. The piston is operatively connected to an interrupter such that movement (displacement) of the piston causes corresponding movement (displacement) of the interrupter between a first position, in which the interrupter is positioned in alignment with a signal transmitted across the sensor to interfere with the signal and thereby interrupt circuit completion, and a second position, in which the interrupter is out of alignment with the signal transmitted across the sensor to permit circuit completion and thereby inform the robotic unit that the door is present and engaged with the end effector.
Fixture assembly for coating combustor panels
A fixture assembly for supporting workpieces in a coating process includes a shaft; and a plurality of fixtures each having a workpiece support surface and a shaft mount defining a shaft mounting structure, wherein the shaft mounting structure extends from the workpiece support surface such that, when the shaft mounting structure is engaged with the shaft, workpiece support surfaces of the fixtures are positioned facing radially outwardly away from the shaft.
MULTI-AXIS ROBOT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME FOR PAINTING OBJECTS
A multi-axis robot having a kinematic chain with a tool member and at least one additional member, the tool member supporting a first tool. The associated robot control mechanism comprises a kinematic control mechanism designed to receive the movement path of the first tool using a parameterizable tool center point and to control members of the kinetic chain in such a way that the tool center point follows the movement path. The robot control mechanism maintains all the members along the kinematic chain of the tool member of another member which supports the second tool in a fixed position, it parameterizes the tool center point on a working point of the second tool, and transfers the movement path of the second tool to the kinematic control mechanism so that the latter, under the condition that the fixed position of the members is maintained, controls the remaining members of the kinematic chain using the newly parameterized tool center point so that the tool center point follows the movement path of the second tool.
