MULTI-AXIS ARTICULATING AND ROTARY SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure provides a system and method articulating and rotary spray system for fluids that includes a first drive for rotating a mast for different headings and a second drive for rotating a nozzle for different pitches at any time with or without rotation of the mast. The method and system uses a system of interacting gears that rotate a control rod in variable synchronization to control the nozzle pitch relative to the mast heading while the control rod orbits about a center of rotation of the rotating mast along a longitudinal axis.
Coated packaging products, systems and methods
In a method of forming a coated bag for pre-treating an item stored in the bag, a bag is provided, having a sidewall extending from a closed bottom end to an open top end and defining an interior surface of a cavity. The bag is expanded from a flattened condition to an expanded condition. At least one adhesive dispenser is inserted through the open top end of the bag into the cavity. An adhesive is applied from the at least one inserted adhesive dispenser to form an adhesive coating on the interior surface of the cavity. A particulate dispenser is inserted through the open top end of the bag into the cavity. A particulate is discharged from the inserted particulate dispenser to embed the particulate in the adhesive coating. The adhesive coating is dried to retain the embedded particulate on the interior surface of the sidewall.
Self-sealing coating for fuel tanks
A method of forming a self-sealing fuel tank includes: providing a container including internal surfaces and external surfaces and configured to hold a fuel; forming a latex coating layer over at least a portion of the internal surfaces and/or external surfaces; depositing or encapsulating an environmental layer over at least a portion of the latex coating layer; where the latex coating layer swells when contacted with the fuel; and where the latex coating layer is formed from a latex coating composition that is substantially free of a non-ionic associative thickener.

COATING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A coating system includes a support fixture sized to be partially inserted into one or more openings of a component and a spray nozzle segment device comprising a housing configured to receive a slurry. The device is disposed radially outward of a central axis of the component and is shaped to extend circumferentially about at least part of the central axis of the component. The housing comprises plural delivery nozzles configured to spray the slurry onto a surface of the component. The device is operably coupled with the support fixture such that the fixture maintains a position of the device within the component when the support fixture is partially inserted into one or more openings of the component.
Method for applying a treatment fluid to interior surfaces of an aircraft fuselage
Methods are provided by which a treatment fluid (e.g., a liquid corrosion inhibitor) may be applied onto the interior surfaces of an aircraft fuselage. The methods include (a) deploying an automated guided vehicle (AGV) comprising a carriage assembly and a robotic spray system carried by the carriage assembly within the interior of the fuselage, (b) closing the cabin door opening of the fuselage with the AGV positioned therewithin, and (c) operating the AGV so as to move within the fuselage along a longitudinal axis thereof to spray the treatment fluid onto the surfaces thereof.
Mechanical extended reach Sluicer
Extended reach sluicer systems, devices, and methods for breaking up and retrieving chemical, radioactive, hazardous materials and/or other waste from storage tanks, with mechanical arms and nozzles which utilize fluid jets to break up and liquefy in-tank material. The invention can work with tanks having additional issues, such as but not limited to high temperature or low temperature conditions. An upper assembly attachable to a tank can control the transverse rotation of a vertical mast and with a lower end pivotally attached to a boom having a nozzle assembly attached to an outer end. The boom can telescopically retract and extend to different length positions by cables and pulleys. Controls with take-up mechanisms can elevate up and down or transverse left and right the nozzle assembly.
Container processing system
Provided is a container processing system capable of improving a speed of processing containers with a simple configuration and providing a compact production line. The container processing system (10) includes a container conveyer (20) having a container conveying path (21a) that conveys containers (C) arranged in a row and a container processor (40) that performs processing on the containers (C) in a container processing area (A2) set lateral to a container transfer area (A1) set in a segment of the container conveying path (21a). The container conveyer (40) includes a container carrier (21) conveying the containers (C) arranged in the row along the container conveying path (21a) and a container transferer (22) moving a container row including the plurality of containers (C) arranged in the row in the container transfer area (A1) toward the container processing area (A2).
Mold in plumbing for wax application
A system and method include a frame member and an applicator. The frame member includes a hollow frame and a distribution component arranged in the interior of the frame. The distribution component includes a base component and a conduit on its exterior surface. The applicator delivers a fluid, which can include an anti-corrosion material, to the distribution component, which fluid is then delivered by the conduit throughout the interior of the frame and ejected through discharge openings of the conduit onto the interior surface of the frame to coat the frame with the fluid. The fluid may form an anti-corrosion coating on the interior surface of the frame.
Self-Sealing Coating for Fuel Tanks
