IRRIGATION NOZZLE WITH ONE OR MORE GRIT VENTS
20200353497 · 2020-11-12 ·

An irrigation nozzle is provided with a grit diversion feature to divert grit away from the interior of the nozzle. The nozzle includes a pattern template that defines the irrigation pattern produced by the nozzle. The pattern template includes one or more flow channels that may be susceptible to clogging with grit. The grit diversion feature includes one or more grit vents to redirect grit away from the interior of the nozzle and may further include an inner wall about the central hub that helps protect the central hub from intrusion by grit.

Applicator, in particular rotary atomiser

The disclosure relates to an applicator (RZ), in particular a rotary atomizer, for the application of a coating agent, in particular a two-component paint, comprising a first coating agent connection (SL) for feeding a first coating agent, in particular a basic resin of a two-component paint, a first coating agent strand (L1-L4), which extends in the applicator (RZ) from the first coating agent connection (SL) and carries the first coating agent, and a first valve (SLV1), which is arranged in the first coating agent strand (L1-L4) and controls the flow of the first coating agent, wherein the first valve (SLV1) can be controlled by a first control signal. It is proposed that a first pressure-relief valve (SLV1), which is actuated by its own medium, is arranged in the first coating agent strand (L1-L4) and, to avoid a problem being caused by excessive pressure, opens automatically when the pressure upstream of the first pressure-relief valve (SLV1) exceeds a certain maximum pressure.

FACILITY FOR APPLYING A COATING PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR CLEANING SUCH A FACILITY
20200324549 · 2020-10-15 ·

A facility for applying a coating product including a set of printing nozzles, each nozzle including an outlet channel emerging in the downstream direction by a coating product discharge orifice, the facility further including a cleaning station for at least one nozzle of the set of printing nozzles, the station including at least one cleaning fluid injector in the outlet channel of the printing nozzle, through its discharge orifice.

Spray System For An Agricultural Machine
20200298260 · 2020-09-24 ·

A spray system for an agricultural machine is configured to include a valving arrangement and multiple liquid product lines coupled to spray nozzle assemblies such that the valving arrangement can connect the product lines to the spray nozzle assemblies in different ways to achieve different modes of operation. Such modes can include providing agricultural liquid product flow through the spray nozzle assemblies at differing rates and/or flushing the product through the spray nozzle assemblies in differing directions. This can be achieved by controlling the valving arrangement to selectively connect any of the lines to pump for supplying product, to tank for returning product, or to block the lines to inhibit the flow of product. In one aspect, the product multiple lines can be of different sizes to enable more modes of operation, such as greater or lesser flow rates while spraying.

Electrostatic Atomization Coating Apparatus

In an electrostatic atomization coating apparatus including a nozzle head including a plurality of coating material ejection ports; a coating material chamber that is provided inside the nozzle head and to which a coating material is supplied via a coating material supply path, each of the coating material ejection ports being in communication with the coating material chamber via an individual branch coating material path; and a voltage application device that provides a potential difference between the nozzle head and an object to be coated, the coating material ejected from each of the coating material ejection ports via the coating material supply path, the coating material chamber, and the branch coating material path being brought into a charged state through application of a voltage by the voltage application device, an open/close valve device that opens and closes all of the branch coating material paths, or opens and closes a specific subset of a plurality of branch coating material paths out of all of the branch coating material paths is provided. Thus, it is possible to prevent external air from entering the nozzle head, and the coating material from leaking to the outside of the nozzle head.

ADJUSTABLE NOZZLE

A nozzle comprising: a main body having a sidewall, a first end and, a second end, wherein the main body has a central channel extending from the first end to the second end and at least one aperture extending through the sidewall distal to the second end and a retention means is positioned within the channel positioned between the second end and the at least one aperture; a collar having a lip disposed at a first end and a securement means disposed at a second end adjustably attached to the main body, wherein a cavity is formed between the main body and the collar and in a first position the lip creates a tight seal with the main body; a blocker positioned within the channel of the main body, wherein the blocker freely rotating about a central axis of the channel; and a means of axially retaining the blocker within the channel.
