Apparatus for blending and applying plural substances including aggregate onto an environmental substrate is shown and described. The apparatus includes optionally a single power plant, plural pumps each fed by a respective hopper, and a blender blending pumped materials together. Dispensing ratios of the two pumps are mutually adjustable. An onboard air compressor delivers compressed air for atomizing blended materials as they are dispensed with the aggregate. Because materials may be curable or hardenable, flushing is enabled. The apparatus may be a free standing wheeled device.

A thread (3) runs in a zigzag between two adjacent groups of chains (2) or also between one group of chains (2) and an individual chain (1) and connects the chains (1) or groups of chains (2).

The disclosure relates to an application device for applying an application agent (e.g. heat-conducting paste) into a cavity, in particular in a battery module of an electric battery. The application device according to the disclosure comprises a nozzle for dispensing the application agent through the nozzle and a first pressure sensor for measuring a first pressure reading (p.sub.A, p.sub.B) of the application agent upstream of the nozzle. The disclosure additionally provides a second pressure sensor for measuring a second pressure reading (p.sub.D) of the coating agent downstream of the first pressure sensor, in particular in the nozzle. Furthermore, the disclosure comprises a corresponding application method.

Spin coater for applying multiple coatings to an optical substrate

A spin coater that can be used to apply multiple coating compositions over an optical substrate, is described. The spin coater includes, a coater bowl configured to collect excess coating material expelled from an optical substrate being coated, a rotatable chuck configured to receive and rotate the optical substrate in the bowl during coating, a plurality of coating reservoirs, each containing a coating material, and an indexable coating reservoir platform containing the plurality of reservoirs and configured to index a selected reservoir into a dispensing position above the coater bowl. The spin coater can include or have associated therewith at least one curing station, in which each curing station is independently configured to cure at least partially at least one applied coating material. Each curing station can include at least one of a thermal curing station, a UV curing station, and/or an IR curing station.

Distribution and processing of battery electrode slurry and similar suspensions

The occurrence of separation or reaggregation is suppressed in a suspension such as a battery electrode slurry. A battery electrode slurry distributing apparatus includes: a circulation pipe via which a positive electrode slurry is to be circulated; and a control unit that controls the supply of the positive electrode slurry to each of coaters. In a period in which either the coater is allowed to receive the supply of the positive electrode slurry, the control unit inhibits the supply of the positive electrode slurry to the other coater. The circulation pipe is structured in a polygonal loop. The coaters are connected to respective elbow portions formed in the circulation pipe via the pipes, respectively.

The rotating device is utilized to rotate the needle holding base or the wear-resistant plate. A mixed double-liquid glue passes through the double liquid inlet, the wear-resistant plate opening and the glue outlet to dispense a mixed glue while the double liquid inlet, the wear-resistant plate opening and the glue outlet are overlapped. Material is provided to the cylinder (52) through a flow path extending through the pump rod (48). The piston (54) drives material downstream out of the cylinder (52), and the interface between the piston (54) and the inner surface of the cylinder (52) provides a dynamic seal during pumping. The flow of material into and out of the pump (38) is controlled by actively-controlled inlet and outlet valves.

Disclosed is a drying-wetting separated filling method and a filling apparatus for an electrowetting display device. The filling method comprises filling a non-polar solution into pixel grids on a lower substrate of an electrowetting display device in air, and filling a polar solution to immediately cover the non-polar solution filled after filling the non-polar solution into the pixel grids. Compared with filling the non-polar solution into the polar solution, directly filling the non-polar solution in air has better filling uniformity, easier operation and control. With the method, the fillings of the polar solution and the non-polar solution are easy, having a higher filling efficiency, and no air bubble residue.
