Device for coating, preferably for painting, the main surfaces of rigid panels with liquid products includes a substantially horizontal support surface to support a rigid panel and a painting head placed orthogonally to the direction of relative movement and above the support surface. The painting head has, in sequence on its face facing the support surface, a dispensing outlet for a liquid product and a suction inlet for the liquid product so as to create a veil of liquid product. The first side surface of the face is configured so that the distance d4 between one of the points around the first end of the dispensing outlet and the support surface is smaller than the distance dx between any other point belonging to the face and the support surface.

The present disclosure provides a device and method for manufacturing a coated welding rod. The device for manufacturing a coated welding rod includes a grabbing device, a heating device, and a flux storage device. The heating device is configured to heat a welding rod in the grabbing device. A flux in granular form is stored in the flux storage device, the grabbing device is configured to transport the heated welding rod into the flux storage device, and the heated welding rod is configured to heat the flux surrounding the welding rod into a viscous glassy state so that the flux in the viscous glassy state adheres to the surface of the welding rod. The heated welding rod enables the granular flux to be formed into a viscous glassy state so that the flux can be adhered directly to the surface of the welding rod.

A substrate treatment apparatus includes: a substrate holding unit; a rotator for rotating the substrate holding unit; a first liquid nozzle for supplying a rinsing liquid; a second liquid nozzle for supplying a low surface tension liquid; a heater; a lifting mechanism for relatively moving up and down the heater between a contact position allowing the heater to be brought into contact with the lower surface of the substrate and a separation position allowing the heater to be separated from the substrate; a gas nozzle provided in an upper surface of the heater to suck the substrate; a suction pump for sucking an atmosphere above the heater through the gas nozzle; a gas supply source for supplying an inert gas toward above the heater through the gas nozzle; and a controller for selectively performing suction of the atmosphere or supply of the inert gas, through the gas nozzle.

A method of repairing or remanufacturing a coating includes abrading a surface to at least partially remove a portion of a coating to leave an abraded surface; applying a sol-gel over the abraded surface; applying a corrosion resistant primer onto the sol-gel; and applying an erosion coating onto the corrosion resistant primer.

A nozzle for dispensing adhesive between a first part and a second part comprises a nozzle body. The nozzle body comprises a first-part engagement surface. The nozzle body also comprises a second-part engagement surface, contiguous with the first-part engagement surface and defining an engagement-surface angle, greater than 0° and less than 180°, with a virtual plane, coincident with the first-part engagement surface. The nozzle body further comprises a nozzle-body outlet port, formed in the second-part engagement surface. A co-axial roller printing equipment includes a working platform, a roller, a grinding device, a cutting device and a coating structure. The working platform is configured for carrying a substrate and driving the substrate to move. The roller is disposed above the working platform and has a surface. The grinding device is disposed on the working platform and configured to contact and grind the surface of the roller. The cutting device is disposed on the working platform and configured to cut the surface of the roller to form a plurality of relief structure. The coating structure is configured to receive a slurry and coat the slurry on the relief structures. Wherein, the grinding device and the cutting device grind and cut the surface of the roller in sequence; wherein, the coating structure coats the slurry on the relief structures, then the roller prints the slurry on the substrate.

A substrate processing apparatus may include a chamber having a working space, maintaining a vacuum state, and including an upper wall positioned on the working space, a nozzle assembly positioned in the working space, and including nozzles, and a lifting module including a frame positioned outside of the chamber, a lifting part that lifts the frame, and at least one shaft passing through the upper wall, connected to each of the frame and the nozzle assembly, and extending in a direction of gravity.

Provided is a home port in which a nozzle supplying a treating liquid to a substrate waits. The home port includes a drain cup, a housing provided to cover the drain cup and having an exhaust space exhausting a fume generated from the treating liquid, and an insertion body placed between an upper wall of the housing and the drain cup in the housing. A first exhaust passage guiding the fume to the exhaust space is formed between the insertion body and the drain cup, and a second exhaust passage guiding the fume to the exhaust space is formed between the insertion body and the housing.

Disclosed is a method of treating a substrate, the method including: adjusting a temperature of a treatment liquid by heating the treatment liquid with a heater unit installed in the circulation line while circulating the treatment liquid in a housing of a tank through a circulation line coupled to the housing; treating a substrate by supplying a temperature-controlled treatment liquid to the substrate in a normal mode; and discharging a treatment liquid in the circulation line to the outside of the circulation line through a drain line connected to the circulation line in an emergency mode.

A method for coating a paper drinking straw, an apparatus for coating a paper drinking straw, and a coated drinking straw assembly are disclosed. The apparatus includes a dipping tank containing a liquid bath for coating a straw when submerged in the liquid and a straw engagement means for submerging the straw in the bath. The method includes receiving an uncoated paper drinking straw and submerging the straw in a bath containing a water-resistant and/or a water-soluble coating. The drinking straw assembly includes an elongate tubular body and a coating that has been applied to all surfaces of the straw by submerging the body in a bath containing the coating.
