Device and method for trigger point massage therapy
A trigger point massage therapy device for well-controlled trigger point therapy, suitable for long-term use by a health practitioner with minimal risk of pain or injury, can include a main body with a handle, rubberized grips, a connection pin, that can connect to a pressure point base with a pressure point tip, whereon can further be installed additional pressure point tips in different sizes; a pressure sensor, a step-vibration component, an electro-motor; and additionally heating, ultra sound, electrical stimulation, infrared, and cold laser light components. The device can further include a control unit, which can be used for programming and controlling the functions of the device. Also described is a method for trigger point massage therapy, including measuring a pressure, adjusting the pressure, holding the pressure, rotating/unwinding, vibrating, and increasing the pressure.
COMPRESSION GARMENT
In an embodiment, a compression garment can include one or more of a flex frame, a shape memory material, a backing, and a control module. In some variations, the flex frame can include a set of support regions, a set of cutout regions, a set of bridges, one or more terminals, and one or more rotation points. In some variations, the compression garment 100 can further include a fabric sleeve, one or more fasteners, a power module, and/or any other suitable component. The compression garment functions as a compression device (e.g., to improve circulation, enhance muscle recovery, etc.), and can additionally or alternatively function as a passive compression device, a heating and/or cooling device, or perform any other suitable functionality.
ADJUSTABLE BED FOUNDATIONS AND RELATED METHODS
An adjustable bed foundation includes an adjustable frame and at least one height adjuster configured to raise and lower a portion of the adjustable frame. The adjustable frame defines a support surface, a bottom surface opposite the support surface, and a plurality of lateral side surfaces intersecting each of the support surface and the bottom surface. A fabric at least partially covers the plurality of lateral side surfaces and is secured to a material covering the support surface. A massage device is disposed within the adjustable frame and configured to impart vibration to a mattress disposed on the adjustable frame. The massage device is secured to the adjustable frame by a flexible fastener, and a gap between the flexible fastener and the support surface is between about 2 mm and about 10 mm. Related methods are also disclosed.
SKIN CLEANSER
A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.

Systems and related methods for controlling an ear stimulation device with a personal computing device, in response to determination of electrical contact of an electrode in a stimulator earpiece with an ear of a user of the personal computing device, are described. If the electrode is not in good electrical contact with the ear of the user, delivery of the stimulus is prevented and the user is notified of the status of the electrode. In various aspects, the user is instructed to reposition the earpiece or replace, clean, moisten, or apply gel to at least a portion of the electrode.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT AND BONE HEALING
Systems and methods disclosed herein provide efficacious therapies based on delivery of combinations of thermoceuticals, electroceuticals, ultrasound via computer-implemented systems. Sensors coupled to the device are configured to measure changes in tissue and bone conditions, physiological data resulting from the delivered therapy. The personalized therapy can be adjusted based on the changes in the physiological or sensor data and/or patient feedback. The patient information, information about the applied therapy, and therapy outcome information can be added to the analytics database.
Massage Device Alleviating Rhinitis
The present invention relates to a massage device for alleviating rhinitis, which can alleviate rhinitis symptoms by massaging both sides of the nose using low-frequency waves, ultrasonic waves, high-frequency waves, thermotherapeutic stimulation, or vibration stimulation, and which is fabricated in a compact size and thus is easy to carry and to use.
Method and system for regulating core body temperature
A method for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may involve delivering heat to a first location on a limb of the patient, delivering heat to a second location on the limb, apart from the first location, and applying intermittent compression to a third location on the limb, located between the first location and the second location. A device for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may include a sleeve for positioning over at least part of one of the patient's limbs, first and second heat delivery members coupled with the sleeve, and an intermittent compression member coupled with the sleeve between the first and second heat delivery members.
At-home light-emitting diode and massage device for vaginal rejuvenation
A light emitting module and massage device provide vaginal rejuvenation. The device exposes collagen in the vaginal area or mucosa to temperatures elevated over normal body temperature to cause the collagen to reversibly or irreversibly denature while simultaneously applying vibration. Once thermally-induced collagen denaturation has occurred, both neoelastogenesis and neocollagenesis may occur and may be initiated with fibroblast proliferation, which may be promoted with vibration. Neofibrogenesis also occurs due to the fibroblastic activity, responsible for secretion of new collagen matrix to effect tissue repair. Thus, the device exploits thermally-induced collagen denaturation and repair along with simultaneous vibration to improve tissue tone, connective tissue tension and bulk tissue regeneration.
Aromatherapy apparatus and housing
The present invention is an apparatus for employing aromatherapy and binaural sounds for inducing a state of relaxation in a user who may be anxious, upset, or experiencing sleeping difficulties. The apparatus comprises a shape memory foam pillow, a pair of stereo speakers, an aromatherapy diffuser, a pillowcase comprised of heat-transfer fabric, an optional vibrating device, a canopy and a housing to support these elements. The user connects a smartphone or digital audio device to the speakers, activates the aromatherapy diffuser and the vibrating device, and lays his or her head down on the pillow beneath the canopy. Ideally, the smartphone or music device should have a meditation or binaural sound application, which would be tuned to a specific beat frequency, such as 10 Hertz. The combined action of essential oil vapors and binaural sounds should enable the user to relax or sleep more soundly.
