A dispensing system includes a dispensing apparatus and a cartridge device. The dispensing apparatus has at least one receiving chamber for receiving the cartridge device, at least one dispensing device, a control device, a drive device and a power supply. The method includes inserting the cartridge device into the at least one receiving chamber; emitting at least one first signal from a signal generator of the cartridge device; receiving the at least one signal of the cartridge device by at least one sensor of the dispensing apparatus; transmitting a second signal from the sensor to the control device; transferring the drive device from a first operating mode into a second operating mode if the second signal corresponds to a value stored in the control device or if an algorithm stored in the control device verifies the second signal, or transferring the drive device into a third operating mode.

A polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent filled in a cartridge-like container comprises a polyol or a polyisocyanate, and a filler, wherein the polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent has a viscosity at 25° C. and a rotation speed of 10 rpm of 2300 mPa.Math.s or more. The filler may include a solid flame retardant. The polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent and another polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent are mixed and discharged to form a polyurethane composition.

A dispensing apparatus simultaneous discharges at least two flowable components of a multi-component mass from different storage volumes. The dispensing apparatus includes a passive mixing unit having a central mixing passage extending along a flow direction and being configured to guide the components mixed with one another, and including at least two inlets opening into the central mixing passage, the inlets being associated with the same storage volume and open into the mixing passage at different positions along the flow direction.

A container 10 for mixing and dispensing of material having a liquid receptacle 14 and a plunger 18. The receptacle 14 has a front portion 36 and the plunger 18 has a forwardly projecting sharp protrusion 42 having a shaft 72 which terminates in a sharp outer end 78, 82. Upon the plunger 18 being depressed the sharp protrusion 42 pierces a front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 and the liquid in the receptacle 14 is pushed hydraulically through the front portion 36 into a main chamber 17. The plunger 18 can continue to be depressed so as to break the front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 away and then push the material in the main chamber 17 towards a dispensing nozzle 26. The main chamber 17 has a frangible membrane 22 at a distal end 13 thereof which is hydraulically broken by pressure applied from the material in the main chamber 17 so that the material can be dispensed from the container 10. The container 10 is particularly envisaged for use with mixing and dispensing of dental materials.

The invention relates to an application unit for an application device, in particular an application gun for applying gel-like and/or paste-like compositions, having an output unit for dispensing the compositions, a connection element, such as a cover, for connecting the output unit to the main body of the application device, and a closure element, wherein the closure element is rotatable around an axis of rotation with respect to the connection element and the output unit for fastening the output unit on the connection element and for detaching the output unit from the connection element, wherein a lifting unit is formed and arranged in such a way that the output unit is lifted by a rotation of the closure element.

A fracturing mechanism (16) is operably connected to the container (12). The fracturing mechanism (16) has an extending member (64) projecting from the outer wall (20) of the container (12). The extending member (64) has a projection (66) positioned proximate the membrane (14), wherein in response to deflection of the extending member (64), the projection (66) deflects the outer wall (20) proximate the membrane (14) wherein the weld seam (40) fractures creating an opening (41) through the membrane (14) configured to allow the flowable material M to pass therethrough and from the dispenser (10).

Methods, apparatus, devices and systems for mixing and dispensing multi-component materials. The mixing and dispensing may be performed using a mobile, enclosed dispenser that can be used to supply a mixed multi-component material at the point of use. In some embodiments, the components to be mixed into the multi-component material may be supplied in cartridges.

Disclosed herein are adhesive splitter systems and methods for using the same. The adhesive splitter systems comprise a multi-nozzle adapter configured to dispense multiple streams of adhesive onto a substrate. The splitter system can also include an attached adhesive dispenser for providing adhesive to the multi-nozzle adapter.

A discharge device that serves the purpose of discharging at least two components from a multiple cartridge. The discharge device has a housing, a threaded rod and an advancing element with an internal thread. The threaded rod engages in the internal thread of the advancing element such that the advancing element can be pushed forward in a distal direction by turning the threaded rod in relation to the housing. In the region of its distal end, the threaded rod has a taper. Formed on the housing, in the region of its distal end, is a holding element. The holding element has a laterally open clearance, and the threaded rod is pushed with its taper laterally into the clearance of the holding element such that the holding element fixes the threaded rod axially in the housing in the distal direction and in a proximal direction opposite thereto.
