Multicomponent cartridge for single use
A multicomponent cartridge which is designed for single use includes two separate supply chambers arranged coaxially of each other and two pistons. The two pistons are movable via a plunger to simultaneously discharge two components. A guide element guides the two pistons in the respective supply chambers and contains a discharge opening for discharging the first component. The guide element is movable relative to a housing via a movement element in order to open the discharge opening.
Discharging device
A dispensing apparatus includes a storage container having an outlet flange with a component outlet which is at least partly surrounded by an inlet flange. The inlet flange is configured to adopt a closed position and a dispensing position with respect to the outlet flange. A change from the closed position into the dispensing position is carried out by a rotation of the inlet flange with respect to the outlet flange. The component outlet is arranged at a cylindrical jacket surface of the outlet flange. The first component outlet is closed by the inlet flange in the closed position of the inlet flange. In the dispensing position, a connection is established by a crossover passage between the first component outlet and a dispensing opening.
Driving device of a metering and mixing apparatus
A driving device of a metering and mixing apparatus for multi-component substances is disclosed, which driving device can have at least two cartridge holders for holding interchangeable cartridges with individual substance components, a discharging apparatus for simultaneously discharging the substance components from the cartridges through component outlets with the aid of discharging pistons entering the cartridge holder or cartridges, and a mixing apparatus which is connected to the component outlets, for mixing the discharged substance components and discharging the latter in mixed form, and a transmission unit for the connection of a drive motor, wherein the transmission unit can have a detector for detecting at least one counter pressure which builds up during the discharging of at least one of the substance components, and a controller, which is connected on an inlet side to the detector for bringing about a driving control function in response to a detection result.
Multi-bead applicator
A system for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes a prime mover for providing an output torque, a first pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the first pump having an inlet and an outlet, a second pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the second pump having an inlet and an outlet, a first compound in communication with the inlet of the first pump, a second compound in communication with the inlet of the second pump, a first accumulator in communication with the outlet of the first pump, a second accumulator in communication with the outlet of the second pump, a first manifold in communication with the outlet of the first pump, and a second manifold in communication with the outlet of the second pump. A plurality of applicators is included.
Plunger for pneumatic dispenser
A plunger is fittable within a cylinder of a pneumatic dispenser that discharges a viscous material. The plunger has a first portion located at the front, and a second portion located at the rear. The second portion is a hollow structure and has a circumferential wall. An inner circumferential surface of this circumferential wall has a tapered surface. The circumferential wall has a thickness dimension that decreases in the axial direction moving away from the first portion. Therefore, the circumferential wall easily displaces in the radial direction, because the bending stiffness decreases in the axial direction moving away from the first portion. The first portion is a solid structure that is more rigid than the second portion. The first portion also has a partition wall surface that separates the inner chamber of the second portion from the solid section of the first portion.
Container and substance dispensing system
A confinement structure and an actuation member that provides a system that allows for controllable deformation of a variety of containers are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system of the present disclosure provides for controllable deformation of a container such that a portion of the container acts as a wiping means to empty a substance from the container. A container that includes an indentation formed on a first end of the container and a container opening located at a second end of the container is also disclosed. In one embodiment, with the container deformed to a final position, the indentation fits inside the container opening to completely expel a substance from the container.
Plastic Container for Containing Dental Adhesive Composition
A plastic container for containing a dental adhesive composition that contains a polymerizable monomer and a polymerization initiator; the plastic container including a container body 3 of a hollow cylindrical shape, an ejection nozzle 5 provided at an end of the container body 3 on one side thereof and a cap 9 detachably fitted to the ejection nozzle, and having a structure in which a knock-button type piston member 7 is fitted in the container body 3 from an end on the other side thereof in a manner that the knock-button type piston member can be depressed, and the composition contained in the container body 3 is discharged through the ejection nozzle 5 as the piston member 7 is depressed; and a body wall of the plastic container has an oxygen permeability in a range of 10 to 500 cc/m.sup.2.Math.day.Math.atm in a portion where the composition is contained in the container body 3.
DEVICE FOR INSERTING A PLUGGING COMPOUND INTO AN OPENING
A device (1) for introducing a plugging compound (20) into a borehole (21), the device having a sleeve (2) with a cavity (3) for receiving the plugging compound (20). On one side, the sleeve (2) has a discharge opening (5), corresponding to the cavity (3), for discharging the plugging compound (20), and a support section (7), projecting laterally from the sleeve, for providing a support option for the sleeve (2) during introduction of the plugging compound (20). On the opposite side of the sleeve (2), an upper opening (4) is provided, through which a piston (16) together with a feed plate (18) protrudes into the cavity (3). The piston (16) is movable relative to the sleeve (2) in such a way that the feed plate (18) can be displaced in the cavity (3), for example to allow the plugging compound (20) to be received and dispensed.
SILICON BALL IN A GLASS TUBE ADVANCED BY THREADED ROD DISPENSING MICRO AMOUNTS OF OILS OR OTHER MATERIALS
An improved fluid dispensing device for cooking uses is presented, comprised of a clear glass tube with a silicon ball advanced by a threaded rod. The silicon ball in the tube provides a secure seal to prevent leakage and loss of valuable oils and extracts during dispensing.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A MATERIAL
A device for dispensing a material has a container for holding the material, a piston movably arranged within the container and a spindle in cooperation with the piston. The device is configured such that the spindle and the container are rotatable relative to each other to move the piston for dispensing the material. The piston and the spindle are adapted to anti-twist lock against each other in a first axial position of the piston relative to spindle. And in a second axial position of the piston relative to spindle the anti-twist lock between the piston and the spindle is suspended. The device helps minimizing any residual dental material upon attempting to empty the device.
