CORDLESS DUCTWORK SEALER WITH CUSTOM SPREADER HEADS KITS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
The embodiments of the invention as described herein relate to a tool or device for sealing exterior duct joints. The device is designed and configured to drive a semi-solid mastic or cement-like material through a hose and a custom designed applicator wand. The various embodiments of the invention include cordless, lightweight and portable versions. This tool is designed to assist in the sealing of ductwork. An extension on the end of the wand enables a user to reach several areas that are either difficult to access, or awkward to seal using traditional techniques. Various embodiments of the spreader head have been designed to perform better for different parts of the duct system. The user only needs a ladder to seal the top of the supply trunk duct, the remainder of the ductwork can be sealed standing on the floor.
Pen applicator system for applying a cosmetic product
An applicator system for containing and dispensing a cosmetic substance may include a container defining a cavity and including an open first end and a closed second end, a dispensing mechanism operably coupled with the first end of the container, and an applicator. The dispensing mechanism includes an elongated body defining a dispensing cavity and further includes at least one flexible region engageable by a user. The applicator includes an external surface and an interior cavity that may accommodate at least a portion of the dispensing mechanism. Upon engaging the at least one flexible region of the dispensing mechanism, a predetermined quantity of cosmetic substance is dispensed to the external surface of the applicator.
Fluid Dispensing Systems
A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.
Common head having an offset partition for use with multi-component dispensing tools and a tubular liner arranged for locating within the common head
A common head for use in combination with a cartridge assembly, the cartridge assembly being retained within the material containment unit of a dispensing device and arranged to discharge reactive components from larger and smaller cartridges in response to actuation of the dispensing device. The common head includes inlet openings and a rigid walled tube having a partition positioned therein to define larger and smaller pathways to enable passage of the reactive components from the cartridges into and though the common head in a predetermined volumetric ratio and prevent backflow of the components which can lead to unintended curing prior to dispensing. A flexible liner arranged for positioning within one or both pathways of the rigid walled tube is also provided to prevent such backflow and unintended curing prior to dispensing.
System and Method for Application of a Surface Compound
A compound delivery applicator comprising a substantially conical portion comprising a first end configured to couple to a compound receptacle and an applicator blade coupled to the substantially conical portion. The applicator blade comprises a first portion extending outwardly along a longitudinal axis of and from a second end of the substantially conical portion, the first portion comprising a first side edge and a second side edge each forming an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the substantially conical portion and a scraper coupled to the first portion distal the substantially conical portion. The compound delivery applicator further comprises a compound delivery channel extending internally through at least a portion of the substantially conical portion, the compound delivery channel further extending through the scraper of the applicator blade and configured to pass a compound therethrough.
CONTAINER AND DISPENSER FOR FLOWABLE MATERIAL AND METHOD
Varied embodiments of a container/dispenser having a multi-chamber bellows member having a plurality of collapsible bellows chambers allowing more than one substance to be contained within the container and simultaneously dispensed when a sufficient axial force is exerted on a platform to compress the bellows member forcing flowable materials from each chamber. In an alternative embodiment, the present invention discloses a retrofit multi-chambered bellows container, which may be adapted to a standard caulking tube container.
Medical adhesive applicator
Medical adhesive applicators are disclosed which allow medical adhesives to have long storage life and be easily dispensed in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the applicator has a frangible glass vial with the medical adhesive. The frangible glass vial is held in a plastic enclosure with a dispensing tip. Attached to the plastic enclosure is a squeeze tube capable of imparting air pressure into the enclosure. To dispense medical adhesive quickly and with precision, one simply breaks the frangible glass vial and pushes on the squeeze tube. In another embodiment, the applicator has a proximal chamber containing medical adhesive, a distal chamber for dispensing medical adhesive and one or more rupturable membranes between them. To achieve long shelf life, the applicator chambers and membrane(s) are formed from fluorinated plastic. To dispense medical adhesive, one ruptures the membrane(s) and pushes on the sides of the proximal chamber.
Two part applicator pen
A handheld applicator for delivery of post-treatment coating following application of a conversion coating includes a first vessel extending longitudinally and containing SOCOSURF PACS? solution, a second vessel extending longitudinally and containing hydrogen peroxide, a pH indicator contained in one of the first or second vessels, a mixing region configured to combine the SOCOSURF PACS? solution, hydrogen peroxide, and pH indicator.
Dispensing plunger, dispensing apparatus comprising the dispensing plunger and method
A dispensing apparatus is suitable for the reception of a cartridge containing a dispensable medium. A dispensing plunger is configured to be arranged at or in the dispensing apparatus, the dispensing plunger having an end face which acts on the cartridge for a dispensing of the medium out of the cartridge. The dispensing plunger is configured such that the end face, during the dispensing of the medium, has at least a first dispensing cross-section and subsequently has at least a second dispensing cross-section.
Storage and mixing system for pasty cement components and method therefor
Storage and mixing systems for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements comprise a tubular cartridge having a cylindrical inner chamber, a cartridge head, which closes one end of the tubular cartridge at the front side, a partition that is disposed axially in the cylindrical inner chamber of the cartridge. The partition divides the cylindrical inner chamber of the cartridge bounded by the cartridge head into two cavities that are spatially separated from one another, wherein a first pasty cement component is present in the first cavity and a second pasty cement component is present in the separate second cavity. The systems further comprising two dispensing plungers axially displaceable in the two cavities of the cartridge, wherein the dispensing plungers close the two cavities on the back side of the cavities situated opposite the cartridge head, a bending device for deforming the partition, wherein the bending device is axially movable in the cartridge and is disposed, or is to be disposed, behind the dispensing plungers, as seen from the cartridge head, wherein the bending device has a deflection surface that is inclined with respect to the axis of the cartridge and pushes the partition laterally in the direction of the inside wall of the cartridge when the bending device is pushed into the cartridge.
