CAULKING GUN
A caulking gun is provided, including a gun body; a carrier, rotatably assembled to the gun body, the carrier having a receiving room and a through opening which is communicated axially with the receiving room, the receiving room having an opening which is open radially outwardly, the receiving room being adapted for receiving a caulk cartridge; a first sleeve, disengageably attached to the carrier, at least part of the first sleeve overlapping the opening radially; a pushing rod, movably assembled to the gun body, and extending through the through opening and into the receiving room; wherein the first sleeve is disposed around an outer lateral side of the carrier, and the first sleeve is transversely across the opening side to side.
Piston driven one shot grease dispenser
The device and method are for one shot greasing of tractor trailer fifth wheels and other structures. The device has an upper tube and a lower tube where the upper tube acts as a piston to push down on the lower tube to dispense a grease supply. The lower tube bottom, or a bottom cap connected thereto, has a plurality of dispensing orifices. Preferred embodiments include a stop mechanism to prevent relative movement of the upper tube and lower tube prior to dispensing, and a removable seal on the bottom that prevents grease release until the seal is removed.
Storage and mixing system for pasty cement components and method therefor
A storage and mixing system for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements comprises a tubular cartridge having a cylindrical inner chamber, a dispensing plunger that is axially displaceable in the inner chamber of the cartridge, a partition disposed axially in the tubular cartridge, and a cartridge head which closes one end of the tubular cartridge. The cartridge head has a slot-shaped opening, wherein the partition protrudes from the inner chamber of the cartridge through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head, wherein the partition divides the cylindrical inner chamber of the cartridge bounded by the dispensing plunger and the cartridge head into two cavities that are spatially separated from one another. A first pasty cement component is present in the first cavity and a second pasty cement component is present in the separate second cavity, wherein the partition is removable through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head so that the two separate cavities are connected to one another after the partition is removed.
LIQUID MATERIAL DISCHARGE DEVICE
A discharge device capable of suppressing pressure fluctuation of a compressed gas supplied to a container in which a liquid material is stored. The device includes a storage container in which a liquid material is stored; a discharge port through which the liquid material is discharged; a pressure control valve that adjusts a pressure of a compressed gas supplied from an external compressed gas source to a desired level; a discharge valve that establishes or cuts off communication between the pressure control valve and the storage container; a control device that controls operation of the discharge valve; a first flow line connecting the pressure control valve and the discharge valve; and a second flow line connecting the discharge valve and the storage container. The device further includes a third flow line branched from the first flow line, and a leak mechanism connected to the third flow line.
Valved container assembly
A valved container assembly (10) comprising a container (12) for containing a fluid, the container (12) extending in an axial direction and having at least one venting opening (12a) at a front end and at least one dispensing opening (12b). The valved container assembly (10) further comprising a valve (14) disposed in the container (12) and a plunger element (20) disposed axially rearward of the valve (14), the plunger element (20) being axially moveable in the container (12) and defining a first volume (22) in the container (12) between the plunger element (20) and the valve (14), where the plunger element (20) is configured to increase the pressure of a fluid in the first volume (22) upon axial movement relative to the valve (14). The valve (14) comprises a permanent seal (16) forming a fluidic seal between the at least one venting opening (12a) and the first volume (22), and a resilient seal (18) that is axially rearward of said permanent seal (16) and is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration. In the sealing configuration the resilient seal (18) forms a fluidic seal with the container (12) between the at least one dispensing opening (12b) and the first volume (22). In at least one axial position of the valve (14) in the container (12) when the resilient seal (18) is in the open configuration the first volume (22) is fluidly connected to the at least one dispensing opening (12b). The resilient seal (18) is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration upon fluid pressure in the first volume (22) exceeding a predetermined pressure threshold.
A DEVICE COMPRISING A PLUNGER ASSEMBLY, A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE AND A METHOD OF MAKING THE PLUNGER ASSEMBLY
A device for dispensing a material, being provided with a plunger assembly which has a screw with a first thread portion and a second thread portion. The first and second thread portion differ in shape and, in combination, form one continuous screw thread. The plunger assembly further has a nut which engages the screw thread by a nut thread. The nut thread corresponds in shape to a negative shape of the first thread portion. The invention help minimizing efforts in the assembly of a device using the plunger assembly.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OBTURATION OF ROOT CANALS
An apparatus for treating a tooth includes a delivery vessel configured to be inserted into a root canal of a tooth. The delivery vessel includes an internal lumen configured to permit the flow of an obturation material therein and at least one port positioned to supply the obturation material to the root canal from the internal lumen.
