BEAUTY INSTRUMENT
A beauty instrument capable of imparting a massaging effect to skin. A beauty instrument is configured such that a pair of balls is supported at the tip of a handle. The balls are positioned at a distance from each another, and are capable of rotating around respective axes thereof.
Lower body electrical muscle stimulation exercise systems
A lower body electrical muscle stimulation exercise system for exercising the legs of a paralyzed user which incorporates electrical stimulation of leg muscles. The device is portable, light-weight and functional. The device is placed in front of a user who is sitting in a chair. The user's legs may be placed on moveable leg supports. An electric motor rotates a bicycle crank assembly which moves the legs of a user in a back and forth bending motion. Electrical stimulation is then activated which contracts or relaxes the leg muscles. The stimulation is sequentially activated by a Master Processor and a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS) unit. The present invention is designed to stop the deterioration of the leg muscles and restore the functionality of the legs.
Needle systems for dry needling
A needle system for use by physical therapist in intramuscular stimulation procedures. A cylindrical non-conducting grip is located at a needle second end of a linear needle. A needle first end is pointed. An electrical connecting node is located on a needle between the needle first end and the needle second end. A second grip may be disposed on the needle such that the electrical connecting node is positioned in between the first and second grips. The electrical connecting node is operatively connected to the needle. A device generating electrical impulses is operatively connected to the electrical connecting node.
Electricity and microcurrent generator
The present invention relates to a microcurrent generator capable of generating microcurrents by utilizing a gap between different metals and obtaining a healing effect by using the generated microcurrents. The present invention relates to a configuration of generating microcurrents by forming a gap (G) between a first metal (10) and a second metal (20) made from different materials.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STIMULATING SWALLOWING
A device includes a first vibrational transducer and a second vibrational transducer. The first vibrational transducer has a first vibrating property. The second vibrotactile stimulator has a second vibrating property different than the first vibrating property. A collar may be configured to position the first vibrational transducer and the second vibrational transducer over a neck of a subject. A method for stimulating swallowing in a subject includes applying a first vibrotactile stimulation and applying a second vibrotactile stimulation to a throat area of the subject. The first vibrotactile stimulation has a first vibrating property and the second vibrotactile stimulation has a second vibrating property different than the first vibrating property. Example vibrating properties include vibrating frequency, vibrating frequency range, wave shape, continuousness, frequency phase, and direction of mechanical force.
STIMULATION APPLICATION APPARATUS
A stimulation application apparatus includes a substrate, a stimulation application member provided on one surface of the substrate to apply a stimulation to a site, and a stimulation imposition layer provided on another surface of the substrate opposed to the first surface to impose the stimulation. The site includes at least one area selected from a group of (F) site that intersects the perpendicular line of the medial malleolus on an extension line of the medial margin on os metatarsale primam 1 and 2 in foot sole, and (L) incisurasive foramen supraorbitalis site, and (K) site where the lintersection of the line connecting an augulus oculi medialis of eye and L site, and perpendicular of an augulus oculi lateralis of eye is located, and (M) site of augulus oculi lateralis located above 1 horizontal finger from center of the line where connect the inner end of left and right eyebrow.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING SCAR TISSUE OF A BIOLOGICAL SUBJECT USING RADIO FREQUENCY WAVES AND MANIPULATION
A system and method for treating tissue of a biological subject, including a radio frequency wave generator configured for generating a radio frequency wave at a therapeutically beneficial wavelength, a power supply configured for supplying power to the generator for generation of the wave, a controller configured for setting the wavelength, and a director configured for directing the wave to the tissue to achieve a therapeutically beneficial outcome for the subject. Preferably, the wave generates heat at a therapeutically beneficial temperature. Preferably, the director is configured for directing the wave to the tissue by placement of the director adjacent the tissue and movement of the director across the tissue in alternating general directions applied at various therapeutically beneficial speeds, various therapeutically beneficial distances, and various therapeutically beneficial time intervals within a desired treatment area of the tissue.
MOTORIZED AIR WALKER AND SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR PARALYZED PERSONS
A system for patient rehabilitation is disclosed. The system includes a first movable frame including an articulating bed, wherein the bed is configured to be selectively articulated to an inclined position, a suspension system, wherein the suspension system is disposed within the articulating bed and is selectively adjustable to accommodate varying patient height, a harness, wherein the harness is selectively engageable with the suspension system, wherein the harness is selectively adjustable to accommodate varying patient sizes, a second movable frame including a walker, wherein the walker includes a pair of legs and a motor, wherein approximation of the two movable frames permits the patient to easily utilize the walker from the bed. A method of using the system for patient rehabilitation is also disclosed.
APPLIANCE FOR TREATMENT OF FACIAL SKIN CONDITIONS
A mask member which fits over a portion of the face of a user. A retaining member holds the mask in place on the user's head. Eye portions allow the user to see while wearing the mask. A treatment mechanism is positioned on an interior surface of the mask for skin treatment including treatment around the eyes. A control mechanism controls the treatment mechanism.
Light irradiating toothbrush having multiple light sources arranged in alternation
Provided is a light irradiated toothbrush, in which light sources, irradiating light having mutually different wavelengths, are arranged in alternation at the bottom of waveguide bristles so that light of different wavelengths give rise to constructive interference which strengthens the intensity of the irradiated light, and the height of the light sources are varied on the basis of the wavelength of the light irradiated therefrom so as to effectively transmit light of short wavelengths to the waveguide bristles, and light having mutually different wavelengths are transmitted by means of the waveguide bristles, thereby effectively transmitting the light to the mouth of a user.
