Dispensing gun

A dispensing gun assembly includes a frame, a rod, a piston, a driver, a trigger, and a linkage. The rod slideably connects with the frame for linear movement with respect to the frame. The piston connects with the rod for movement with the rod. The driver selectively engages with the rod to move the rod in a linear direction when engaged with the rod. The trigger slideably connects with the frame. The linkage connects the trigger with the driver such that linear movement of the trigger with respect to the frame in a rearward direction results in the driver engaging the rod and linear movement of the rod and the piston in a forward direction.

A cartridge has a reception chamber extending in a longitudinal direction for a medium to be dispensed. The cartridge has a head part and a cartridge wall which bound the reception chamber, the head part having an outlet for the medium. The cartridge wall is at least regionally a film and the head part is a stable-shape part. The head part is sealingly and in particular unreleasably connected to the cartridge wall and the cartridge is a collapsible cartridge. The cartridge can be converted from an expanded state in which the reception chamber has a maximum volume into a collapsed state in which the reception chamber has a minimal volume. The cartridge not yet filled with medium is in a collapsed state. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing such a cartridge is described.

RESIN DISPENSING APPARATUS

A resin dispensing apparatus is provided. The resin dispensing apparatus includes an external body portion including a discharge nozzle configured to discharge a phosphor-containing resin, and an internal body portion including at least one flow passage, the internal body portion being mounted within the external body portion. An axial length of the internal body portion is shorter than an axial length of the external body portion.

DISPENSING UNIT AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING

Embodiments of the present invention includes methods for dispensing and an apparatus for dispensing. In particular embodiments, the barrel design of an apparatus for dispensing and provided in a method for dispensing is formed to encase and/or engage a material container. By encasing and/or engaging the material container within the barrel, expansion, such as tube expansion, is reduced and/or eliminated.

Side by side cartridge assemblies and related methods

A side by side cartridge assembly for dispensing first and second fluid materials includes a first cartridge container and a second cartridge container. The cartridge containers include respective bodies and nozzle members coupled with the bodies. The cartridge containers are positionable with respect to one another such that the two nozzle members cooperate to form a cartridge outlet for dispensing first and second fluid materials from the respective bodies. The cartridge outlet includes dispensing openings communicating with respective nozzle channels, and a sealing surface configured for sealing engagement with a mixing element when a mixing element is attached to the cartridge outlet.

The dispensing device includes a hollow tube having an open upper end and an open lower end, as well as a horizontal bar disposed between the walls of the hollow tube adjacent to the open lower end. A disc is movably positioned within the hollow tube, the disc having a central aperture defined therein. A string or other flexible member has one end secured to the disc. The other end of the string is drawn downward in the tube, looped around the horizontal bar, then drawn upward through the central aperture in the disc and out the open upper end of the tube. A semi-solid medication is loaded in the tube between the disc and the open lower end of the tube. When the string is pulled out of the upper end of the tube, the disc is drawn downward, dispensing the medication.
