Provided is an application apparatus for a coatings material. The application apparatus includes a supporting element extending along a first axis and having a first end and a second end. A first arm is coupled to the first end of the supporting element, and a second arm coupled to the second end of the supporting element. A first fastener attached to, and movable with respect to, the first end of the supporting element and detachably fixed to the first arm. Further, the first arm is configured to slide along the first axis.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A FLUID
An apparatus for dispensing a fluid comprises a housing and a resilient liner adapted to hold the fluid disposed in the housing. A fluid transfer mechanism is in fluid communication between the liner and an applicator assembly mounted on the housing for dispensing the fluid on the skin of the user. The applicator assembly includes an actuator movable relative to the housing so as to activate the fluid transfer mechanism when the actuator is reciprocated. A fluid delivery element is held in contact against skin of a user for applying the fluid onto the skin. The fluid delivery element is supported on the actuator to be movable together with the actuator by varying contact pressure with the skin. Each movement of the actuator generates continuous negative pressure within the liner for drawing fluid through the fluid transfer mechanism and collapsing the liner.
ROLLER COVER ADAPTER
A paint roller adapter enabling a large diameter paint roller cover to be used on a paint roller frame having a cage configured to receive smaller paint roller covers. The adapter is generally cylindrical in shape and comprises a cylindrical internal surface having a diameter sized to fit onto the cage of the roller frame and a substantially cylindrical external surface having a diameter sized to fit within the large paint roller cover. At least one gripping member projects outward, beyond the external surface of the adapter such that, in use, the gripping member(s) press against an internal surface of the large paint roller cover. The gripping members of the adapter serve to prevent the roller cover slipping about the external surface of the adapter. A pair of such adapters thereby enables a conventional paint roller frame to be used with large diameter roller covers.

The present invention relates to a paint roller frame for application of a fluid, such as a paint or stain, on any surface. The paint roller includes a head section that can accommodate roller covers or paint rollers of various sizes by adjusting a length of a top edge that adjusts the distance between connectors configured for holding the roller cover. The frame includes an adjustable swivel that enables a pivotal movement of a pole section relative to the head section. The pole section can be secured to the swivel which enables users to rotate the attached roller cover in a range of motion generally 90-degrees on either side of the perpendicular direction to the head section. The pole section can be telescoping and enables users to paint elevated areas, thereby obviating a ladder or stepstool.

The roller cage also includes a roller cage body connected to the distal end cap, the roller cage body including a first side wall and a second side wall opposed to the first side wall. An apparatus having a roller assembly and a trigger mechanism is disclosed. The roller assembly may include a first collar disposed at a roller assembly proximal end and a second collar disposed at a roller assembly distal end. The roller assembly may further include a guide rod having a guide rod proximal end and a guide rod distal end. The guide rod distal end may be attached to the second collar, and the guide rod may be disposed between the first collar and the second collar. The roller assembly may further include a plurality of deformable rods disposed between the first collar and the second collar. The plurality of deformable rods may be configured to move between a tensioned state and an un-tensioned state. The apparatus may further include a trigger mechanism configured to move the plurality of deformable rods between the tensioned state and the un-tensioned state.
