Acupuncture device and needle wakening method
An acupuncture device and a needle wakening method are disclosed. The acupuncture device includes a plurality of acupuncture needles, and each acupuncture needle includes a needle body and a needle handle; an end of the needle body is a needle tip, and the other end of the needle body is fixedly connected with the needle handle. The acupuncture device further includes a driving device, and the driving device includes a driving component and a first timing component; the first timing component is configured for setting an interval of time to start the driving component, and the driving component is configured for driving the acupuncture needle to rotate alternately in forward and reverse directions when the interval of time is arrived.
Assistive orthotic device with motors and sensors
A motorized tensioning mechanism for orthotic devices, such as a knee brace, wherein the controls for the motorized tensioning mechanism may be manual, automatic, or a hybrid of both. Sensors associated with the orthotic device may inform the user regarding tension or other aspects of the device, and, in cases, may automatically adjust tension in the motorized tensioning mechanism.
HANDHELD ARTICULATED USER-ASSISTIVE DEVICE WITH BEHAVIOR CONTROL MODES
A handheld tool includes a handle; an implement mount configured to detachably accept and to rigidly hold a user-assistive implement; an actuator assembly mounted to the handle to physically manipulate the implement mount relative to the handle; a first sensor disposed to sense an orientation of the handle; a second sensor disposed to sense an orientation of the user-assistive implement; a controller disposed in or on the handle and coupled to the actuator assembly and the first and second sensors; and memory coupled to the controller. The memory stores instructions for identifying a type of the user-assistive implement attached to the implement mount, selecting a behavior routine based upon the type of the user-assistive implement identified, and manipulating the user-assistive implement relative to the handle according to the behavior routine to aid performance of a task with the handheld tool.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus includes a force transmitting frame configured to support a distal part of a user, a slider configured to slide in the force transmitting frame, and a driving frame connected to the slider and configured to slide with respect to a proximal part of the user.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus may include a shank frame configured to support a shank of a user, a thigh frame configured to rotate relative to the shank frame and support a thigh of the user, and a driving frame configured to assist a motion of a hip joint of the user by transmitting power directly or indirectly to the shank frame.
COMBINED MASSAGE DEVICE, NEGATIVE PRESSURE MASSAGE UNIT AND MASSAGE MACHINE
A combined massage device, a negative pressure massage unit and a massage machine are provided. The combined massage device includes: a main body having a first connection portion and a reciprocating motion portion having a functional end, where the reciprocating motion portion is connected to the main body and has a degree of freedom of reciprocating motion relative to a direction of the main body, and the functional end is configured to have an independent massage function, and/or serves as a function supporting portion. The negative pressure massage unit and the massage machine that have the combined massage device are further provided.
Device and method for cleansing and treating skin
A cleansing device for mammalian skin includes a cleansing head having a plurality of elastomeric cleansing features extending away from the first surface and having an aspect ratio of about 1:5 to 10:1. The cleansing head is attached to a handle adapted to apply oscillating movement to one or more cleansing head sections to provide a total displacement per oscillation of about 2 mm to 8 mm at a frequency of about 5 Hz to 30 Hz.
POWERED EXOSKELETON AND STABILIZING STRUCTURE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a powered exoskeleton. The powered exoskeleton includes a leg connection rod and a stabilizing structure. The stabilizing structure is mounted on the leg connection rod. The stabilizing structure is switched between a folded state and an unfolded state in such a manner that the stabilizing structure is folded on the leg connection rod when the stabilizing structure is in the folded state, and the stabilizing structure is suitable for being in contact with the ground and supports the leg connection rod in a tilted upward direction when the stabilizing structure is in the unfolded state.
Systems for recovery from motor control via stimulation to a substituted site to an affected area
Methods, devices and systems for recovering motor control of an area in the body of a patient affected by a neurological disorder. A device vibrotactilely stimulates a substitute site for the affected area thereby recovering the motor control of the affected area. The stimulation provided by the device is volitionally controlled by the patient.
MOTORIZED RECUMBENT THERAPEUTIC AND EXERCISE DEVICE
A device for therapy or exercise is provided that includes a frame, a base at least partially supporting and extending from the frame, a user support moveably coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the frame, a foot crank system coupled to the frame, a hand crank system coupled to the frame, and a motor coupled to at least one of the foot crank system and the hand crank system. The motor selectively powers the foot crank system and the hand crank system and comprises an active mode and a passive mode.
