Method for coating a flexible support with a silicone composition
The present invention concerns a method for coating a textile material with a silicone elastomer composition crosslinkable by condensation reactions, to produce a solid silicone elastomer, optionally in a thin layer, on a flexible support that can be made from a textile material, paper, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, polyethylene, polyurethane, non-woven glass fiber fabric or polyethylene terephthalate.
Coating metal oxide particles
The invention relates to methods of forming coated metal oxide particles, suspensions of such coated particles, particles comprising functionalized surface coatings and to fortification of food crops with coated metal oxide particles. Embodiments disclosed include a method of fortifying a food crop with a trace element, the method comprising growing the food crop in a growth medium comprising the trace element in the form of metal oxide particles coated with an organic compound, and a food crop fortified with a trace element in the form of metal oxide particles. Also disclosed is a method of forming coated particles, the method comprising: providing a first quantity of metal oxide particles; providing a second quantity of a coating material comprising an organic compound; and mechanically mixing the metal oxide particles with the coating material in a dry mixing process to provide a mixture comprising the metal oxide particles coated with the organic compound.
COATED SUTURE SYSTEM FOR HEALING AUGMENTATION OF SOFT TISSUE REPAIR AND RECONSTRUCTION
Disclosed herein are systems, apparatuses and methods for applying commercially available sutures or other wound repair devices to improve and/or accelerate healing. In an exemplified embodiment, provided are methods, apparatuses, and systems that enable intra-operative application of wound repair devices with biologic and/or pharmaceutical compositions to facilitate controlled delivery of bioactive molecules, resulting in improved musculoskeletal soft tissue repair and reconstruction. In a specific embodiment, a method including obtaining an isolated platelet rich plasma (PRP) sample, and applying the sample to a suture under conditions to provide a dry coat of PRP onto the suture is disclosed herein.
WATERPROOF TAPE HAVING IMPROVED ADHESION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a waterproof tape having improved adhesion which comprises a filler layer having formed on one side of a base film to exhibit excellent viscosity while being thin and has excellent shock resistance and an excellent waterproof property, and a manufacturing method.
DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE FOR TOUCH SCREEN PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a double-sided tape for a touch screen panel which comprises a shock resistant filler layer to exhibit excellent viscosity while being thin and have excellent shock resistance and an excellent waterproof property, and a manufacturing method.
Dry wipe to decrease frizz, static and increase shine on hair and aid in prevention of reoccurance of static and frizz
The disclosure relates to methods of reducing static on hair or a cloth material, reducing hair frizz and/or increasing shine on hair by wiping the hair or cloth material with a dry wipe product. The dry wipe product comprises a flexible substrate having a first side and a second side; and either an anhydrous composition, or an aqueous composition, disposed over the first and/or second side(s) of the flexible substrate. When hair or cloth material is wiped with a side of the dry wipe product having the anhydrous composition or the aqueous composition disposed thereon, the anhydrous composition or aqueous composition is transferred from the flexible substrate of the dry wipe product to the hair or cloth material. The anhydrous compositions and aqueous compositions of the instant disclosure reduce static on hair and/or cloth, reduce hair frizz and/or increase shine on hair. The dry wipe products of the instant disclosure are particularly beneficial for hair care because they are dry, portable, disposable, may be biodegradable, and comprise compositions that are safe for personal use.
WATERPROOF TAPE HAVING IMPROVED ADHESION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a waterproof tape for an automobile battery which comprises a filler layer having formed on one side of a base film to exhibit excellent viscosity while being thin and has excellent shock resistance and an excellent waterproof property, and a manufacturing method.
Substrate processing method for drying a substrate by discharging gas to liquid layer on the substrate while rotating the substrate
After a development liquid on a substrate is washed away with a rinse liquid, the rotational speed of the substrate is reduced, so that a liquid layer of the rinse liquid is formed over a top surface of the substrate. Thereafter, the rotational speed of the substrate is increased. The increase in the rotational speed of the substrate causes a centrifugal force to be slightly greater than tension, thereby causing the liquid layer to be held on the substrate with the thickness thereof in its peripheral portion increased and the thickness thereof at the center thereof decreased. Then, gas is discharged toward the center of the liquid layer from a gas supply nozzle, so that a hole is formed at the center of the liquid layer. This causes tension that is balanced with a centrifugal force exerted on the peripheral portion of the liquid layer to disappear. Furthermore, the rotational speed of the substrate is further increased while the gas is discharged. Thus, the liquid layer moves outward from the substrate.
Water dilutable polyvinyl fluoride paint and coating and method for manufacturing the same
A method of manufacturing a coating is provided, which includes applying a primer paint on a substrate, wherein the primer paint includes 100 parts by weight of a first PVF, 30-70 parts by weight of an assistance resin, 5-30 parts by weight of a curing agent, 100-120 parts by weight of a first latent solvent, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, and water. The first latent solvent, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, and water have a weight ratio of 60:10-20:40-60. The method also applies a finish paint on the primer paint, wherein the finish paint includes 100 parts by weight of a second PVF, 100-120 parts by weight of a second latent solvent, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, and water, wherein the second latent solvent, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, and water have a weight ratio of 50:10-20:30-60.
