METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE WORKPIECE AND WORKPIECE
The inventions relates to a method for producing a decorative workpiece with a structured surface comprising the following steps: (B) applying a first liquid lacquer having a coarse structuring over the entire surface, wherein a difference in thickness between thicker regions and thinner regions is at least 50 m, in particular at least 100 m; (E) applying a second liquid, at least partially transparent lacquer for producing a fine structuring in some regions.
Furthermore, an apparatus for performing the method and a workpiece produced by the method are claimed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE SURFACE
A method for producing a decorative and structured surface with different gloss levels is disclosed, which comprises the following steps: feeding of a workpiece (1.0) to a lacquer application device, application of a first liquid lacquer layer (1.4) over the entire surface with a coarse structure in which a difference in thickness between thicker areas and thinner areas is at least 50 m, in particular at least 100 m, in particular digital spraying of droplets on partial areas of the first lacquer layer (1.4) on the workpiece (1.0), preferably with an, at least partially transparent, lacquer in order to apply a second lacquer layer (1.5) on the first lacquer layer (1.4), wherein after curing the second lacquer layer (1.5) has a different gloss level than the first lacquer layer (1.4).
Further disclosed is an apparatus for carrying out the method according to the invention.
SUBSTRATE PROCESSING APPARATUS, SUBSTRATE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND SUBSTRATE PROCESSING METHOD
A substrate processing apparatus includes a substrate processing unit, a partition wall, a first gas supply, and a second gas supply. The substrate processing unit performs a liquid processing on a substrate. The partition wall separates a first space defined from a carry-in/out port through which the substrate is loaded to the substrate processing unit, and a second space other than the first space. The first gas supply is connected to the partition wall, and supplies an atmosphere adjusting gas to the first space. The second gas supply is connected to a place different from the first gas supply in the partition wall, and supplies an atmosphere adjusting gas to the first space.
Method for producing a structured surface
A method for producing a decorative surface on a workpiece (1) is disclosed, the method comprising the following steps: - feeding (S10) of the workpiece (1) coated with a liquid layer (2) to a digital printing station; - application (S12) of an agent capable of at least partially absorbing electromagnetic radiation, at least on a partial area of the surface of the liquid layer (2), or which, in contact with the surface, produces a reaction product which is capable of at least partially absorbing electromagnetic radiation; - irradiation (S14) of the surface of the liquid layer (2) and of the agent with electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of less than 300 nm, preferably less than 250 nm, particularly preferably less than 200 nm. Furthermore, an apparatus (1) for carrying out this method is disclosed.
Film-forming composition and film-forming method using same
[Problem] To provide a film forming composition and a method for preparing a film with which it is possible to form a film having excellent gas barrier performance. [Means for Solution] Disclosed is a film forming composition comprising: a polysiloxane that does not include a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group; a polysilazane; and an organic solvent. Also disclosed is a method for preparing a film comprising: coating a substrate with said composition; and exposing the same to light.
Methods for enhancing the preservation of cellulosic materials and cellulosic materials prepared thereby
Methods for treating cellulosic materials comprising introducing a liquid treating composition into the cellulosic material, the treating composition comprising a solution prepared from at least: (i) one or more of a copper amine complex or copper ammine complex, such as copper tetraamine carbonate, (ii) one or more of ammonia or a water-soluble amine and (iii) water; and exposing the cellulosic material provided thereby to carbon dioxide and/or carbonic acid to provide treated cellulosic material, and treated cellulosic materials prepared thereby.
Sanitary fitting having a translucent coating
The invention relates to a sanitary fitting (1), at least comprising: a fitting housing (2) having an outer surface (3); a radiation transmitter (4) or radiation receiver (5) which is arranged at least in part in the fitting housing (2); and a housing part (6) which covers, at least in part, the radiation transmitter (4) or radiation receiver (5) on the outer surface (3) of the fitting housing (2) and has a coating (7) that is translucent at least in part.
CONTROLLABLY PROVIDING A COATING OF NANOPARTICLES ON A CONVEYED SUBSTRATE
A spray system and method are described for controllably applying a coating of nanoparticles to a substrate. In particular, spray system arrangements are described that are configured to meet the goals of high quality nanoparticle deposition on a substrate with minimal waste of costly nanoparticle material. More particularly, a nanoparticle spray system is described herein that includes: a spray nozzle configured to emit a nanoparticle-laden spray flow; a conveyed substrate configured to be conveyed at a velocity; and a controller configured to operate in a feedback loop such that nanoparticles of the nanoparticle-laden spray flow are controllably deposited on a surface of the conveyed substrate.
Protective Coating
A method for depositing a protective coating onto a substrate, wherein the protective coating comprises (i) a moisture-barrier layer which is in contact with the substrate and which comprises a first sub-layer, optionally one or more intermediate sub-layers, and a final sub-layer, (ii) a mechanical-protective layer which is inorganic, and (iii) a gradient layer interposing the moisture-barrier layer and the mechanical-protective layer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HIGH HUMIDITY CURING WITHIN TABLET COATING SYSTEM
The disclosure encompasses systems and methods for performing high temperature and high humidity curing of tablets using air flow delivered from a recirculating air handler to a pan coater of a tablet coating device. The recirculating air handler may be integrated into a preexisting tablet coating device so that the air flow may be delivered by the preexisting air handler or by the recirculating air handler as desired.
