Wood treatment method
Disclosed is a method for treating a grained material. A nonlimiting example of the method includes the operations of providing a workpiece having grains, exasperating a surface of the workpiece to open the grains, applying at least one coat of a base paint to the exasperated surface, applying at least one layer of clear coat on the base paint, applying at least one of a glaze and a paint on the clear coat, and surface treating to reveal grains of the workpiece. Disclosed also are items of furniture and sheet materials treated by the aforementioned process.
HIGH-GROSS MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR MAGNESIUM ALLOY OBJECT AND HIGH-GROSS MAGNESIUM ALLOY STRUCTURE
A high-gross manufacturing method for magnesium alloy object includes providing a magnesium alloy object; performing micro-arc oxidation or conversion coating treatment on the magnesium alloy object to form oxide film on a surface of the magnesium alloy object; spraying a paint layer on MAO-treated or conversion coating-treated surface of the magnesium alloy object to protect the magnesium alloy object; performing CNC high gross cutting to cut away part of paint layer and part of the oxide film to expose metallic main body; using specific conversion coating solution to passivate the magnesium alloy object; and spraying UV curable paint on the surface of the magnesium alloy object to provide corrosion protection. The present invention also provides a high-gross magnesium alloy structure.
FORMATION OF COATINGS BY SEPARATE APPLICATION OF POLYISOCYANATE COMPOSITIONS AND CROSSLINKING CATALYSTS
The invention relates to processes for coating surfaces by alternatingly applying polyisocyanate compositions and suitable crosslinking catalysts, followed by catalytically crosslinking the polyisocyanate composition.
Upper-layer film forming composition and method for producing a phase-separated pattern
An overlay film-forming composition used to cause phase separation to a block copolymer-containing layer formed on a substrate, the composition including: (A) a copolymer that includes (a) a unit structure derived from maleimide structure and a unit structure derived from styrene structure; and (B) an ether compound having 8-16 carbon atoms as a solvent. The overlay film-forming composition exhibits good solubility with respect to a hydrophobic solvent, and is able to induce vertical alignment of a block copolymer without causing dissolution, swelling, and the like of the block copolymer-containing layer formed on the substrate.

Superhydrophobic and dust mitigating coatings
A system, apparatus, composition and method employing a dust mitigation coating that also mitigates or repels water, ice, and other liquids. Techniques to coat the surfaces of equipment and items with these dust, liquid, and ice mitigation coatings, minimizing or eliminating mission problems caused by dust, liquid, or ice accumulation, particularly in outer space or on another planetary body or moon. Further, the dust mitigation coatings should exhibit a Lotus-like effect, making the coated surfaces ultra-hydrophobic. The present invention is also directed to techniques for improving the functioning of terrestrial-based equipment and systems where dust, liquid, or ice accumulation is a problem, such as in hospitals and other health contexts to prevent contamination.
DRYING METHOD OF POLYIMIDE PASTE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SOLAR CELL HAVING HIGH PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION EFFICIENCY
A drying method of a polyimide paste which can maintain a printing shape while maintaining productivity includes an organic solvent and a polyimide resin dissolved in the organic solvent, and which becomes cured polyimide by being cured as a result of being dried and heated, the drying method including a step of applying the polyimide paste to a surface of a base material, a step of applying a solvent including a polar material to a surface of the base material at least at a portion where the polyimide paste is applied, and a step of, after applying the solvent including the polar material, drying the polyimide paste and the solvent including the polar material.
