Surface Treatment
A surface treatment includes a functional component and a linking component, wherein the linking component is capable of hydrogen bonding and/or covalently linking with the functional component and is capable of hydrogen bonding and/or covalently linking with the surface to form a treated surface. The surface treatment provides a beneficial property to the surface when the surface treatment is bonded to the surface.
AIR EXHAUST OR AIR-AND-SMOKE EXHAUST PIPE FOR CLEAN ROOM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention provides an air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe for a clean room and a manufacturing method thereof. The air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is a pipe that satisfies FM4922, FM4910, or another equivalent standard and that is used for exhausting nonflammable chemical gas and corrosive vapor or nonflammable chemical gas, corrosive vapor and smoke in fire. The manufacturing method for the air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is: coating an inner part of a pre-manufactured metal pipe with a liquid coating that can be initially dried at normal temperature or low temperature to obtain an inner coating pipe; and baking the inner coating pipe at a temperature not exceeding 250 C. after the coating is initially dried, thus the coating is completely dried to obtain a finished product.
Brush composition, and method of producing structure containing phase-separated structure
A method of producing a structure containing a phase-separated structure, the method including: applying a brush composition to a substrate to form a brush layer; forming a layer containing a block copolymer on the brush layer; and phase-separating the layer containing the block copolymer, the brush composition including a resin component (A), the resin component (A) containing a polymeric compound (A1) in which a first polymer block and a second polymer block are bonded to each other through a linking group containing a substrate adhering group.
COPPER PASSIVATION
In a described example, a method for passivating a copper structure includes: passivating a surface of the copper structure with a copper corrosion inhibitor layer; and depositing a protection overcoat layer with a thickness less than 35 m on a surface of the copper corrosion inhibitor layer.
ADHESIVE INTERLAYER FOR BATTERY ELECTRODE THROUGH DRY MANUFACTURING
A dry electrode manufacturing process is employed for low cost battery through a dry mixing and formation process. A thermal activation renders the dry fabricated electrode comparable to conventional slurry casted electrodes. The dry electrode mixture results from a combination of a plurality of types of constituent particles, including at least an active charge material and a binder, and typically a conductive material such as carbon. The process heats the deposited mixture to a moderate temperature for activating the binder for adhering the mixture to the substrate, and compresses the deposited mixture to a thickness for achieving an electrical sufficiency of the compressed, deposited mixture as a charge material in a lithium-ion battery. In order to increase the bonding between the current collector and charge materials, an adhesive interlayer is applied through dry printing.
PREPARING METHOD OF MONOMOLECULAR NANO-THIN FILM
The present disclosure relates to a method of preparing a monomolecular nano-thin film, including: coating, on a substrate, a dispersion solution containing a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1; and performing annealing to the coated substrate:
##STR00001## in the above Chemical Formula 1, X and Y are each independently nitrogen, carbon, sulfur, or oxygen, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently hydrogen, oxygen, a hydroxy group (OH), or a linear or branched C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl group.
MODIFICATION METHOD OF SUBSTRATE SURFACE, AND COMPOSITION AND POLYMER
A modification method of a surface of a substrate includes: applying a composition on a surface of a metal substrate, and heating a coating film formed by the applying, wherein the composition contains: a polymer having a first structural unit that includes an aromatic ring, and a second structural unit that includes an ethylenic double bond; a thermal acid generating agent; and a solvent, wherein the polymer has a functional group capable of bonding to a metal atom in the metal substrate.
ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE PLASMA METHOD FOR PRODUCING PLASMA POLYMER COATINGS
A method for depositing a plasma polymer layer in an atmospheric-pressure plasma on a metallic substrate, wherein the plasma is obtained by a discharge between two electrodes. At least one organic coating precursor compound is fed into the region of the relaxing plasma and is deposited on the metallic substrate as a plasma polymer layer. Nitrogen or a forming gas is used as a treatment gas and the at least one organic coating precursor compound is selected from various compounds. Also disclosed is an article, an electrode and a capacitor which utilize the method and include a metallic substrate having a surface and a plasma polymer layer on the surface. Also disclosed is a method for producing the electrode or for producing the capacitor, a battery cell or a lithium-ion accumulator which comprises the electrode.
Method of improving the adhesion strength of metal-organic interfaces in electronic devices
A method of improving the adhesion of a metal-organic interface in an electronic device includes providing a substrate with a metal structure, treating a surface of the metal structure to form a monolayer coating of a selected chemical composition on the surface, and coating the treated surface with an organic material.
Powder for an electrically insulating coating
The invention relates to the use of a powder comprising at least one polyamide and at least one epoxy resin for producing an electrically insulating coating on a surface. The invention also relates to an electricity transmitting component at least partially covered with a coating that can be obtained by melting such a powder.
