COATING METHOD
The present invention provides a coating method including: a step of supplying a coating agent to a surface of a lens base material; a spreading step of spreading the coating agent supplied to the surface by rotation of the lens base material; a first removal step of removing at least a part of a liquid pool of the coating agent generated on a peripheral edge portion and/or a side surface portion of the lens base material by rotation of the lens base material after the spreading step; and a second removal step of removing the liquid pool remaining on the peripheral edge portion and/or the side surface portion of the lens base material by bringing an adsorption member into contact with at least the side surface of the lens base material after the first removal step. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a coating method capable of obtaining a base material having a coating layer excellent in uniformity of film thickness by reducing the liquid pool of the coating agent generated on the peripheral edge portion and/or the side surface portion of the lens base material when the coating layer is formed on the surface of the base material by spin coating the coating agent.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COLOR FILTER
The present invention discloses a manufacturing method of color filter. The method comprises the following steps. First, the method deposes a first color material on the substrate via a first pattern mask, forming a first color pattern, and a spray coating method is used for spraying a first color material on the substrate via the first pattern mask, therefore to form a first color pattern. Thereafter, the first pattern mask is removed and cleaned a first residual material of the first color material via laser or blow gun. The abovementioned steps will be repeated for three times to finish the color filter.
METHODS FOR MAKING PROPPANT COATINGS
A method for producing a coated proppant having an intermediate cross-linked terpolymer layer includes mixing a monomers solution including a first monomer, a second monomer that is different from the first monomer, a cross-linking agent, and an initiator. The proppant particle is combined with the monomers solution, and the monomer solution on the surface of the at least one proppant particle is polymerized to form at least one proppant particle having the intermediate cross-linked terpolymer layer on a surface of the at least one proppant particle. A resin solution including an epoxy resin, a curing agent, and graphene is mixed, and combined with the at least one proppant particle having the intermediate cross-linked terpolymer layer on a surface of the at least one proppant particle. The resin solution is cured to form the coated proppant comprising an intermediate cross-linked terpolymer layer.

A modular apparatus for coating glass articles with a chemical compound includes a coating hood section (10a) including a series of interconnected walls (12) defining an interior chamber (18, 20a, 20b) having an inlet (32) and an outlet (44), a blower (24) positioned at least partially in the interior chamber (18, 20a, 20b) to carry air from the inlet (32) towards the outlet (44); and a connector (50) for connecting the coating hood section (10a) to an identical coating hood section (10b). The connector (50) for connecting being defined on at least one of the interconnected walls (12) of the coating hood section (10a).
UV CURABLE WATER BASED POLYELECTROLYTE COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYELECTROLYTE FILM USING THE COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a UV curable water-based polyelectrolyte composition and a method for producing a polyelectrolyte film using the same, which provides a polyelectrolyte composition comprising: at least one polyelectrolyte selected from Formulas 1 to 3; an acrylate-based material; a cross-linker; a photoinitiator; and a solvent.
PRO-BIOFILM COATING, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF AND SUBSTRATE COATED WITH THE SAME
The invention relates to a pro-biofilm coating applied by means of cold atmospheric plasma polymerization of a precursor on a substrate. The coating has a roughness such that it promotes the creation of more than 100% biofilm on the substrate, where the 100% of biofilm is the one as produced on the same substrate being devoid of said pro-biofilm coating. The invention also relates to a method of producing said pro-biofilm coating and a substrate coated with same.
LIQUID REPELLENT COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND ARTICLE
A liquid repellent composition which can provide an article with good alcohol repellency is provided. A liquid repellent composition comprising a fluorinated polymer and an aqueous medium, wherein the fluorinated polymer comprises units based on a monomer a, units based on a monomer b and units based on a monomer c. Monomer a: a compound represented by CH.sub.2═CH—R.sup.f (wherein R.sup.f is a C.sub.1-8 perfluoroalkyl group). Monomer b: a fluorine-free nonionic surfactant having a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond. Monomer c: another monomer copolymerizable with the monomer a and the monomer b.
DOPED ALKALI SILICATE PROTECTIVE LAYERS ON METAL
A method for producing a glass-like protective layer on an optionally pre-coated metal or glass substrate. The method comprises: (a) mixing one or more defined silicon compounds with NaOH and KOH, (b) adding water to the mixture obtained in (a) to hydrolyze the silicon compound(s), (c) adding at least one defined compound of formula MY.sub.m,
where M is Pb, Ti, Zr, Al or B, to the hydrolyzed mixture obtained in (b), wherein the molar ratio M/Si is from 0.01/1 to 0.04/1, to obtain a coating sol, (d) applying the coating sol obtained in (c) to the substrate, and (e) thermal densification of the coating sol applied in d) at a temperature of from 300° C. to 500° C. to form the glass-like protective layer.
COATING FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention aims at providing a coating film excellent in water repellency and oil repellency and further excellent in wear resistance, and a layered body comprising said coating film formed on a base material and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a coating film having at least an outermost surface layer (M) and a layer (K1) in contact with the layer (M), wherein a density of the layer (M) is 0.7 g/cm.sup.3 or more and less than 1.0 g/cm.sup.3, and a density of the layer (K1) is 1.0 g/cm.sup.3 or more and less than 2.2 g/cm.sup.3. The layer (M) preferably has a polydimethylsiloxane skeleton and/or a trialkylsilyl group.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND RESIN-ATTACHED COPPER FOIL
There is provided a resin composition including (a) an acrylic polymer having a tensile modulus of 200 MPa or less, (b) a resin that is solid at 25° C., (c) a resin that is liquid at 25° C. and crosslinkable with at least one of the component (a) or the component (b), and (d) a polymerization initiator. The content of the component (a) is 35 parts by weight or more and 93 parts by weight or less, the content of the component (b) is 3 parts by weight or more and 60 parts by weight or less, and the content of the component (c) is 1 part by weight or more and 25 parts by weight or less, based on 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the component (a), the component (b), and the component (c).
