The leading face is constructed of a hard and durable structural material. The disc may also include a distal face/edge constructed of the pliable elastomeric material. The disc also includes a trailing face opposite to the leading face. The trailing face is constructed of a pliable elastomeric material. The discs may be of a wraparound construction or a clamshell construction. The discs can be use in a larger disc screen.
