An aspiration hopper assembly having a diverter vane, an adjustable depth plate, and a slidable product wave plate disposed within and connected to an aspiration hopper. Below the aspiration hopper is an air tube housing having an air tube with a cut-out section, an air pick-up chamber, and an adjustable velocity plate. Sight windows provide a means for visual inspection to monitor performance when making the adjustments for optimal results. The purpose of the aspiration hopper assembly is to allow good product to pass through the aspiration hopper in order to remove foreign material that is the similar size and lighter in density from good product.

Separator

A separator having a housing, a feed cone and a rotatable dispersing plate, on the upper face of which dispersing blades which are distributed across the periphery of the dispersing plate are arranged. The feed cone is arranged on the housing at a distance from the dispersing plate. The precision of the separator is improved compared to conventional separators.

SIZING AND SEPARATING GRANULAR PARTICLES
20210260625 · 2021-08-26 ·

A system and method for sizing and separating granular particles within the bulk granular solids by creating a graded granular flow comprising multiple sized fractions with gradation of the particles according to particle size between relatively fine fractions and relatively coarse fractions; and capturing at least a portion of granular flow. The system (11) comprises means (25) for creating the graded granular flow, and means (30) for capturing at least a portion of the graded granular flow. The graded granular flow is split into separate streams, one of which is subsequently captured by intercepting that stream. The intercepted stream may be collected or redirected for further processing.

A system and method for separating granular particles according to particle size, and more particularly enhance ore grades by removing unwanted material. The system (10) comprises means (11) for transporting granular material (12) comprising multiple sized fractions with gradation of the particles according to particle size between relatively fine fractions and relatively coarse fractions, in a direction having a horizontal component; and subjecting the granular material (12) to vibration while being so transported to induce some separation of particles according to particle size. The system (10) further comprises means (13) for causing the granular material (12) to subsequently move as a granular flow (14) along a curved path (15) under the influence of gravity to further induce separation of particles according to particle size. The system (10) still further comprises means (16) for dividing the granular flow (14) moving along the curved path (15) into different streams (17) according to their trajectory.

Stabilized rice aleurone and preparation method thereof

The disclosure discloses stabilized rice aleurone and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of food processing. The disclosure uses the technology of classifying a rice aleurone layer by a tangential injection airflow impeller classifier combined with an ultrasonic vibrating screen for the first time, and simultaneously uses steam treatment coupled with thermal enzyme inactivation by drum drying as a stabilization method to prepare the stabilized rice aleurone for the first time. The drum drying equipment in the method of the disclosure realizes the two purposes of enzyme inactivation and drying, and the method of the disclosure has short process flow, simple equipment, high utilization rate, small floor space, low investment, low energy consumption and no pollution, and is suitable for industrial promotion. The obtained stabilized rice aleurone has a lipase inactivation rate of 85% or more, a peroxidase inactivation rate of 100%, a low fatty acid value, and a storage period of 12 months or more at room temperature. The product has good taste and no change in color, and can be used in industrial production and food applications. At the same time, the stabilized rice aleurone also has the characteristic of high nutritional value, is rich in functional ingredients, and can be used as a raw material for functional food development.

An air classifier for classifying a mixture of fine and coarse particles by size or aerodynamic shape, wherein the air classifier generally comprises a settling box through which a laminar airflow passes that improves introduction of particles into the airflow and thus improves separation and grading of particles by the air classifier.

Method and Apparatus for Handling and Disposal of Organic Waste Materials

A head assembly can be operationally mounted to the outlet of a conventional harvester extractor, such as a sugarcane harvester. The ancillary fan assemblies can generally direct suspended trash materials (that would otherwise be expelled from an extractor outlet) in a substantially upward and laterally outboard directionthat is, toward both lateral sides of a harvester. A duct assembly having an inlet and an outlet generally extends from each ancillary fan assembly to a position generally above a track of a harvester. Trash material expelled by a harvester extractor enters the head assembly and is directed by the ancillary fan assemblies into the duct assemblies, through the duct assemblies, and onto the upper surfaces of the tracks of the harvesters. The trash material is then conveyed by the tracks toward the front or forward portion of the harvester, where it falls off of the tracks generally in the path of the harvester. As the harvester continues moving forward, the harvester runs over the deposited organic trash material, plowing the organic trash material into the underlying terrain.
