Article management device, article management system, and computer-readable storage medium
According to one embodiment, an article management device includes a receiver, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver is configured to receive article measurement information. The processor is configured to select a first divergence control signal or a second divergence control signal based on the article measurement information, the first divergence control signal being for forwarding the article to a sorter configured to sort the article according to sorting destination information corresponding to the article, the second divergence control signal being for forwarding the article to a carrier. The transmitter is configured to transmit the first or the second divergence control signal to a diverger configured to forward the article toward the sorter or the carrier.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LIMITING INDUCTION OF OBJECTS TO ONE OR MORE OBJECT PROCESSING SYSTEMS
An induction system for filtering the induction of objects to an object processing system is disclosed. The induction system includes an evaluation means for evaluating at least one characteristic of an object, and a routing system for routing the object in one of a plurality of directions responsive to the evaluated characteristic, at least one of the plurality of directions leading to the object processing system.
Automatic labeling production line for solid state disk
An automatic labeling production line for solid state disk includes a production conveyor belt, a fixture disposed on the production conveyor belt and provided with a fixture code, and a loading mechanism provided with a product scanning mechanism detecting the memory and marking out a first defective memory, a first fixture scanning mechanism, a first and a second recycling mechanism recycling a defective memory, an automatic labeling mechanism, a visual inspection mechanism, a second fixture scanning mechanism identifying the fixture code, and an unloading mechanism unloading the memory which are arranged along the production conveyor belt in turn. The first fixture scanning mechanism scans the fixture code and records the original code and the corresponding fixture code. The visual inspection mechanism detects the memory and marks out a second defective memory. Thus, the production line is simplified, automatic labeling for memory is achieved, and the label process is more flexible.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is an information providing method of an electronic apparatus. The information providing method includes identifying an operation target set including a plurality of operation cells, identifying at least one operation cell for which item sorting is completed among the plurality of operation cells included in the operation target set, and displaying information on or regarding an operation cell selected based on priority order information from among the identified at least one operation cell.
Hard Drive Dismantling System
A system and method reclaims select components containing rare earth metals of electronic media electronic storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and hybrid hard drives and destroys the data containing components thereof. The system employs first devices, such as milling tools, to loosen various components of the storage device. The various loosened components include the components containing the rare earth metals and the data containing portions. Second devices, such as pick and place mechanisms, are provided for removing components from the storage device. A holding chassis receives the storage device, and moves the storage device for engagement with the first and the second devices. A section is provided for destroying the data containing portion of the electronic media storage device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATING OBJECTS USING VACUUM DIVERTS WITH ONE OR MORE OBJECT PROCESSING SYSTEMS
A distribution system for use in an induction system with an object processing system. The distribution system provides dissimilar objects into one of a plurality of receiving units. The distribution system includes an air intake system with an opening that is a fixed distance from a conveyor section, said air intake system aiding in moving an object on the conveyor section from the conveyor section to one of a plurality of adjacent transport units.
SAMPLE HANDLING SYSTEM FOR HANDLING A PLURALITY OF SAMPLES
A sample handling system for handling samples is disclosed. The sample handling system comprises sample holders, each receives a sample container; a sample transport device for moving the sample holders; a control unit for controlling functionality of the sample handling system, and a monitoring system for monitoring the samples during movement. The monitoring system comprises a camera module for continuously capturing images of a part of the sample transport device, wherein the camera module is at a distance from the sample transport device such that the camera module has a free field of view to the sample transport device, and a processor for processing the captured images and determining an item of information about the sample transport device and/or the sample container and/or the sample from the captured images. The control unit retrieves the item of information from the processor. The controlling is based on the retrieved item of information.
WASTE SEPARATION DEVICE
A waste separation devices includes a source of radiation for irradiating waste, a camera for capturing an image of the waste when irradiated by the source of radiation, where an item in the waste is provided with a pattern in or on a surface of the item, the pattern forming a repetition of dots, a code being stored in a sequence of adjacent ones of the dots, a data processing device for processing the image to detect the pattern and for deriving the code from the sequence of adjacent ones of the dots of the pattern, and a separator for separating in accordance with the code the item the pattern from the waste. The pattern may be a relief pattern. The relief pattern may comprise a pattern of bumps and recesses. The pattern, such as in a form of a relief, may also be applied to identify the item.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BATTERY DETECTION IN RECYCLING FACILITIES
Methods for detecting electronics amongst a plurality of recycling materials.
