AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION AND CLASSIFICATION PRODUCTION LINE FOR MOBILE TERMINAL LCD SCREENS
An automatic identification and classification production line for mobile terminal liquid crystal display (LCD) screens includes a size and posture identification adjustment part, a model identification part, and a classification storage device. The size and posture identification adjustment part can transport a mobile terminal LCD screen, identify front and back surfaces of the mobile terminal LCD screen, size of the mobile terminal LCD screen, and orientation of the mobile terminal LCD screen, and adjust the front surface of the mobile terminal LCD screen to face up and the orientation of the mobile terminal LCD screen to be the same as the transportation direction during transportation. The model identification part transports the mobile terminal LCD screen after adjustment of the posture, and identifies model of the mobile terminal LCD screen according to the size during transportation. The classification storage device classifies and stores mobile terminal LCD screens according to different models.
Apparatus and method for sorting
An apparatus and a method for sorting, particularly chopped, aluminum scrap by alloy groups are disclosed, in which the aluminum scrap is separated into fractions, fractions of the aluminum scrap are irradiated by at least one neutron source, the gamma radiation that the individual fraction emits due to this neutron irradiation is detected by at least one detector, and based on this, an energy spectrum associated with the respective fraction is generated, based on which energy spectrum a relative ratio of the weight proportions of at least two alloy elements of this fraction is determined, and based on this relative ratio, this fraction is allocated to its corresponding alloy group, and then the fractions are sorted by the alloy groups to which they have been allocated.
Sorting installation and method for the sorting of objects
A sorting installation sorts objects and contains a sorter for conveying objects and also an end station facility accepting objects. The sorter is configured to bring at least a few of the objects conveyed on the sorter in an object introduction direction, which is different from a local direction of object conveyance of the sorter in an area of the sorter adjoining the end station facility, into the end station facility. In order to make possible a fine distribution of the objects that is favorable in terms of the effort involved, the end station facility has a first object store, a second object store and also a transport facility. The transport facility is configured to transport the objects brought by the sorter into the end station facility optionally along a first transport path to the first object store or along a second transport path to the second object store.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF WOOD PIECES TO BE PACKAGED
A system and method for scanning, sorting, repairing and packaging hardwood flooring pieces is provided. The system provides a scanning section, a sorting section, an assessment section and a packaging section. The scanning section identifies problematic pieces. The sorting section automatically sorts and completes rows of hardwood flooring pieces. The assessment section filters and repairs identified pieces and the packaging section packages rows of hardwood flooring pieces. The use of manpower may be limited to certain tasks only, such as the analysis of the identified boards, the repairing or the packaging. An algorithm is tracking each of the pieces of the system and may thus manage the optimal functioning of the system. A method for scanning, sorting, assessing and packaging hardwood flooring pieces is further provided.

An object processing system is disclosed that includes a plurality of track sections, and a plurality of remotely actuatable carriers for controlled movement along at least portions of the plurality of track sections, wherein each of the remotely controllable carriers is adapted to support and transport an object processing bin.
Small Object Sorting System And Method
An automated object sorting system is provided. In various embodiments, the automated object sorting system includes an automated object extraction assembly and an automated object collection assembly. The automated object extraction assembly extracts one or more objects from an object sorting tray based on one or more attributes and/or traits of interest. The automated collection assembly selectively deposits the extracted objects in selected collection receptacles according to the particular attributes and/or traits of each respective object.

Method for controlling sorting machines
A control method for sorting machines including carriages (2), each carriage including a loading-unloading device (3) which can be selectively activated for loading-unloading an object (O) from the carriage and an electronic unit (4) configured to receive and analyse a digital signal (20), includes the steps of: moving the carriage along a sorting direction having a plurality of loading stations (9) and unloading stations (10) each including respective inductors (11); generating by means of the inductors a magnetic field with a variable frequency modulating the digital signal uniquely associated with an operating mode selected from a plurality of operating modes, the digital signal including a bit string; transmitting, by electromagnetic induction, the digital signal to the electronic unit of the carriage; and activating the loading-unloading device according to operating mode uniquely associated with the received digital signal.
