Lens cleaner with bending actuator
The invention relates to a cleaning device for cleaning an optical device of a motor vehicle, wherein the cleaning device features at least two cleaning units and at least one holder upon which the cleaning units are arranged. Each cleaning unit has a drive part and a cleaning part, wherein the drive part features an electroactive polymer and can at least partly move the cleaning part. The holder on which the cleaning units are arranged can move between a working position, in which the cleaning units are positioned relative to the optical device in such a manner that the drive part can move the cleaning parts across a surface of the optical device that is to be cleaned, and a rest position, in which the cleaning units are positioned away from the optical device. The cleaning device is embodied in such a manner that each cleaning part of the cleaning units is moved over a subarea assigned to it of the surface to be cleaned, wherein the subareas can at least partly overlap.
Auto-adjusting vehicle pressure washer
A pressure washing system is disclosed for integration into a recreational vehicle or other large mobile vehicle. The wand of the system includes a rotating brush and one or more sensors to determine a distance from, pressure against, or orientation with respect to the vehicle. While a pump is supplying water to be output by the wand, the distance, pressure, orientation, or other sensor readings are continuously used to modify output characteristics of the wand, including the output water pressure and the speed of rotation of the brush. As a result, no more pressure is supplied by water or brush bristles than is necessary, avoiding overuse of water or damage to outer surfaces of the vehicle. Sensor readings may include one or more of a camera feed, sonar, lidar, pressure feedback, and accelerometer data. The system may also be responsive to a mobile app on a user's mobile computing device.
Rotary cleaning tool
A cleaning tool is disclosed for cleaning an object (e.g., a threaded fastener) and retaining debris from cleaning the object. The cleaning tool can comprise a housing operable to be rotated by hand or by a hand tool, and a cleaning chamber formed through the housing. A plurality of retaining cavities are formed through the housing and in fluid communication with the cleaning chamber, and a plurality of cleaning elements (e.g., shafts having bristles) are supported by respective retaining cavities, such that a portion of the cleaning elements (e.g., wire bristles) extend into the cleaning chamber for cleaning the object upon rotation of the housing relative to the object. Elastic elements can be supported by the housing for biasing the cleaning elements to accommodate cleaning different sizes of objects. Associated systems and methods are provided.
ROADWAY SWEEPER WITH MULTIPLE SWEEPING MODES
A roadway or pavement sweeper with multiple sweeping modes for the removal of debris from a swept surface may, in some embodiments, include a sweeper vehicle having a pair of side-brooms independently movable between a retracted and extended position for sweeping debris into an area therebetween and at least one material-transfer broom to sweep a portion of the debris accumulated between the side-brooms as the vehicle moves in its direction of travel. A fan-driven suction-inlet may be provided at or adjacent each side of the vehicle. The at least one material-transfer broom may rotate in a first or other direction to transfer debris for entrainment into a selected suction-inlet for transfer to a debris hopper. Other embodiments are also described.
Radiology garment dispensing, cleaning, and tracking system
A radiology garment storage and cleaning system, for storing and cleaning radiology garments, each garment including a radiology apron and a radiology collar. The radiology garment storage and cleaning system includes a storage apparatus, which is divided into a number of compartments for accepting a radiology garment, the compartments extending from the first side to the second side. Each compartment is equipped with a cleaning system, a door with a lock and at least one status light. The storage apparatus also includes an ID card and a monitoring system which is in electronic communication with the ID card reader, the lock of each compartment, each of the cleaning mechanisms, and the status light of each compartment. The monitoring system is configured to monitor when the radiology garment is placed in one of the compartments, automate the cleaning of the garment, and track the garment's usage.
Vehicle washing system
A vehicle washing system which includes an elevated support rail structure which has a wash tool movably mounted thereon. The support rail structure includes a fixed forward rail section and a selectively movable rear rail section. The movable rear rail section is movable between a retracted position and an extended position with respect to the forward rail section so as to be able to wash long vehicles and short vehicles.
UNIT DOSE ORAL CLEANING DEVICE AND PRODUCT DISPENSING SYSTEM
An oral care product dispensing system includes a container and a plurality of individually packaged items arranged in an organized fashion according to a predetermined treatment plan. At least one of the individually packaged items, or the packages in which it is contained, may be identified with a predetermined time for use. The plurality of individually packaged items may be arranged sequentially according to the predetermined time for use, such as meals, times of day, days, or intervals.
Device for Removal of Sediment From Inside Piles
Device for removal of sediment from inside piles being at least partly immersed in water, comprising an outer guiding unit arranged to be temporarily positioned on the top of a pile. The outer guiding unit envelopes at least one inner dredging unit being arranged to be lowered from within the outer guiding unit, the inner dredging unit at its lower end exhibiting movable jet nozzles arranged to loosen sediment. The inner dredging unit furthermore comprises a central passage which is connected to a discharge hose arranged to transport loosened sediment therefrom.
FOOT SCRUBBER SHOWER BRUSH
The foot scrubber shower brush is a personal care implement that may be placed on a floor and may be adapted to clean a foot without requiring a user to bend down. As a non-limiting example, the floor may be the bottom surface of a shower stall. The foot scrubber shower brush is adapted to clean a right foot by placing a left foot on the left side platform to hold the foot scrubber shower brush in place while the right foot is brushed. The foot scrubber shower brush is adapted to clean the left foot by placing the right foot on the right side platform to hold the foot scrubber shower brush in place while the left foot is brushed.
Nodule ratios for targeted enhanced cleaning performance
A foam brush that has nodules on an outer diameter surface of the brush that have a pitch to diameter ratio (P/D) of between 1.2 and 1.5 and a nodule height to nodule diameter ratio of 0.2 to 0.5 can be used to achieve improved small particle and organic residue removal from substrates following CMP processing. CMP cleaning brushes of the disclosure may also be prepared with foams that are relatively soft and have a compression strength of less than 90 grams/cm.sup.2. CMP cleaning brushes with such P/D and H/D ratios, and optionally a compression strength of less than 90 grams/cm.sup.2 can be used in a variety of CMP cleaning processes including post copper CMP processes.
