The powered scrubbing device with telescoping handle accessory includes a handheld, battery-powered scrubbing device and an attachable, telescoping handle. The battery powers a motor that drives a reciprocator, which provides linear reciprocating motion to an attached sponge or brush. The reciprocating speed may be controlled by a user through a button on a body of the device. A scrubbing pad may be removably attachable so it can be replaced when worn out or when a user requires a scrubbing pad having different scrubbing characteristics. The telescoping handle may be attached for accessing hard to reach places with the scrubbing device.

In yet another aspect, a brush frame element mounted to an underside of the grating element is disclosed, wherein the brush frame element comprises a set of brush strips configured to protrude through at least one space between the frame bars.

The cleaning system comprises: i) a frame moveable in a transverse direction over the solar panel, the frame having edges oriented in the transverse direction; a brush assembly positioned within the frame and moveable in a longitudinal direction including a plurality brush holders arranged within the frame, with each brush holder being adapted to interchangeably receive a brush for cleaning the solar panel; and a liquid spray arrangement including nozzles arranged one or more rows for spraying at least one of water and a water detergent mix onto the solar panel. The liquid spray arrangement includes nozzles positioned near at least one of the transverse edges of the frame for spraying the water detergent mix onto a longitudinal end of the brush assembly.

A vehicle wash system includes a vehicle treatment area and an overhead frame portion supporting a rotational brush that is translatable relative to a vehicle disposed within the vehicle treatment area. The brush may rotate in the same rotational direction during a first translation direction and a second translation direction of the brush along the vehicle. During one direction of translation, the brush rotates at a first rotational speed, and in the opposite direction of translation, the brush rotates at increased rotational speed. The system may include a pair of side brushes, with the brushes rotating in opposite rotational directions, but maintaining their rotational directions during both directions of translation.
