20230136056 · 2023-05-04 · ·

An integrated and standalone vibrating base assembly for cleaning contact lenses having two selective modes of operation, each mode operably configured to produce different preset vibrational rotations per minute, and comprising a base housing defining a housing cavity, with at least one vibration motor disposed within the housing cavity, electrically coupled to a power source, and operably configured to selectively induce a vibration therefrom with at least one switch coupled to the base housing; and a bottom surface and an upper surface spanning inwardly toward the housing cavity from an upper edge of the base housing to define a concave recess sized to receive two contact lens containers, the upper surface of a friction-inducing, deformable, and polymeric material configured to support two contact lens containers and operably coupled to the at least one vibration motor and to receive a vibration thereon upon activation of the at least one switch.

METHOD FOR CLEANING RECLAIMED ASPHALT
20230356277 · 2023-11-09 ·

A method is disclosed for removing oil from oil covered rocks of reclaimed asphalt that is milled from pavement of a roadway. The oil covered rocks are cleaned so as to be suitable to be mixed with virgin rocks to make new asphalt. The oil covered rocks are submerged within and moved through a water filled bath by an oil scrubber (e.g., a motor driven screw or set of paddles) where the rocks are agitated and rubbed together to cause the oil to separate therefrom. To enhance the oil removal process, steam is sprayed under pressure into the bath from an overhead manifold. To further enhance the oil removal process, the rocks are preheated within an insulated hot box prior to their receipt by the water bath. The cleaned rocks are removed from the bath to be collected, dried and recycled.

METHOD FOR RECYCLING SCRAPPED POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE (PVDF) MEMBRANE PRODUCED IN WATER TREATMENT

A method for recycling a scrapped polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane through chemical cleaning-structural transformation-hydrophilicity is disclosed, which can extend the service life of scrapped PVDF membrane materials (namely, membrane at the end of service life). The method includes the following steps: cleaning a scrapped membrane with sodium hypochlorite and citric acid; treating the membrane with a structural transformation agent, where, irreversible contaminants are washed away while the PVDF membrane is subjected to pore expansion and hydrophilization; and with self-polymerization of dopamine on a membrane surface, further improving the hydrophilicity of the membrane surface, enhancing the anti-contamination performance, and repairing damaged points on the surface of the scrapped PVDF membrane produced during long-term operation.

DEPOSITION MASK CLEANING APPARATUS AND DEPOSITION MASK CLEANING METHOD

Provided are a deposition mask cleaning apparatus and a deposition mask cleaning method. The deposition mask cleaning apparatus includes a treated water bath containing treated water in which a deposition mask is immersed; a treated water generation part supplying the treated water to the treated water bath; a treated water supply pipe connecting the treated water bath and the treated water generation part; and a bubble generation part disposed in the treated water supply pipe and generating bubbles in the treated water. The treated water includes at least one of ozone water, hydrogen water, ammonia hydrogen water, and carbonated water. The bubbles include at least one of microbubbles having a bubble diameter of about 50 μm or less and nanobubbles having a bubble diameter of about 1 μm or less.

Ultrasonic cleaning system and method

A cleaning system and method use an ultrasound probe, a coupling mechanism, and a controller to clean equipment of a vehicle system. The ultrasound probe enters into an engine. The ultrasound probe emits ultrasound pulses and the coupling mechanism provides an ultrasound coupling medium between the ultrasound probe and one or more components of the engine. The controller drives the ultrasound probe to deliver the ultrasound pulse through the coupling medium to a surface of the one or more components of the engine. The ultrasound probe delivers the ultrasound pulse to remove deposits from the one or more components of the engine.

System and Method for Reprocessing Animal Bedding
20210238109 · 2021-08-05 · ·

A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, said bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.

Device for cleaning steam wand of a beverage brewing apparatus

Disclosed is a device and method for cleaning a steam wand of a beverage brewing apparatus. The device includes a first reservoir, a larger elastically deformable reservoir, a scrubbing means, a first one-way valve, and a second one-way valve. The first reservoir is adapted to closely encapsulate the steam wand. The first reservoir is open at one end to receive the steam wand. The larger elastically deformable reservoir is adapted to contain a larger sterile portion of a cleaning solution. The scrubbing means adapted to mechanically loosen milk residue through a scrubbing action. The first one-way valve is operable to connect the larger elastically deformable reservoir to the first reservoir. The second one-way valve is operable to allow air to flow into the larger elastically deformable reservoir.
