Outer diameter cleaning and sanding drill attachment
An attachment for a drill comprises a shank with a chuck configured to mount the attachment to the drill. A housing on the shank comprises a threaded end and a hollow chamber. A compression bladder having a tubular opening through it is configured to be inserted into the hollow chamber. A tube comprising a sanding or cleaning surface located on the inner surface of the tube is configured to be insertable into the tubular opening of the compression bladder. A threaded lid having a circular opening that is at least the same diameter as the inner diameter of the tube is configured to mount onto the housing at the threaded end and compress the compression bladder thereby reducing the diameter of the tubular opening and compressing the compression bladder against the tube to secure the tube within the housing.
Thread cleaning device
An apparatus for servicing tubular members includes a cleaning fluid delivery system, a motor configured to provide rotational movement to the cleaning fluid delivery system, and a cleaning fluid actuator configured to provide pressurized cleaning fluid to the cleaning fluid delivery system.
Faucet cleaning system
A faucet cleaning system provides a water dissolvable applicator formed from a thin sheet material which is stretchable and shaped to define a sleeve configured to encapsulate a faucet head. A cleaning agent is contained within the applicator via a water dissolvable film and is configured to release upon contact with moisture on the faucet head.
Nested Multi-Port Pipe Preparation Device
A nested multi-port pipe preparation device is provided herein. The nested multi-port pipe preparation device is a single tool configured to clean and deburr the ends of two or more differently sized pipes and pipe fittings. The device includes a housing having a plurality of ports. Each port includes a single female pipe-cleaning member, a single male pipe-cleaning member, or a pipe-cleaning member assembly. The pipe-cleaning member assembly includes a male pipe-cleaning member and a female pipe-cleaning member concentrically surrounding the male pipe-cleaning member such that an exterior portion of a pipe and the interior portion of a pipe fitting can be cleaned in the device. The device further includes two or more deburring blades positioned relative to the single female pipe-cleaning member and the pipe-cleaning member assembly for deburring a pipe as the pipe is cleaned.
Faucet thread cleaner
A one piece hand tool is provided for cleaning and chasing water faucet threads. The hand tool has an engagement end and an operating end spaced along a central tool axis. Intermediate the engagement end and operating end, an external surface is provided with an overall hexagonal configuration. The engagement end is open for accessing an internal threaded surface for engagement with water faucet threads to be cleaned. Four equally spaced vertical grooves parallel with the central tool axis are provided in the internal threaded surface of the hand tool and disrupt the internal threaded surface to contain debris during operation of the tool. The internal threaded surface has sharp leading and trailing edges for cleaning and chasing the water faucet threads during engagement and disengagement with the hand tool.
Method and Apparatus for Seam Dressing
A seam ripping assembly for use in preparing a coiled tubing operation in a production well, such as, for example, in the oil and gas industry. More particularly, the present invention pertains to a method and apparatus for seam dressing that can be used to efficiently remove a weld seam along an inner diameter on a section of coiled tubing, thereby allowing a coil connector to then be able to attach to an end of said section of coiled tubing.
Cleaning brush assembly
A cleaning brush assembly includes a housing, a cylindrical brush received in the housing, and a fixing member for fixing the cylindrical brush in the housing. By providing the above structure, the cleaning brush assembly can rapidly clean rusts on a battery cathode terminal, a battery anode terminal, or a bolt on a vehicle wheel disc while permitting easy replacement of the cylindrical brush.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING BOILER TUBES
A method for manufacturing boiler tubes includes the steps of removing end caps from a plurality of tubes, the plurality of tubes including at least a first tube and a second tube, cleaning an outer surface of the first tube and the second tube, forming a weld preparation on an upstream end of the first tube, forming a weld preparation on a downstream end of the second tube, welding the upstream end of the first tube to the downstream end of the second tube to form a butt weld, to produce a long tube, and with an automated device, measuring a parameter of at least the first tube and the second tube. The steps of removing the end caps, cleaning the outer surface of the tubes, forming the weld preparations, welding the first tube to the second tube, and measuring the parameter are performed autonomously.
Automated Pre-Weld Tube Cleaning Using Laser Ablation
A system includes a laser drive assembly and a computer system. The laser drive assembly includes a laser that emits a laser beam to clean an end of a tube, a first motor that changes an angle of the laser beam with respect to the end of the tube, a second motor that moves the laser laterally, and a third motor that rotates the laser drive assembly around the end of the tube. The computer system is configured to clean the end of the tube by operating the laser to emit the laser beam, adjusting the angle of the laser beam with respect to the end of the tube by operating the first motor, adjusting the distance between the laser and the end of the tube by operating the second motor, and rotating the laser drive assembly around the end of the tube by operating the third motor.
Cleaning device for paintball equipment
Among other things, there is disclosed a cylindrical device which is used to remove broken paintballs and other unwanted material from the barrel of a paintball marker or from other paintball equipment. Cylindrical cleaning devices currently known in the art are prone to separation and failure after use. The present disclosure includes structure such as barbs and/or openings, a snap-fit sleeve element, and/or one or more spacers to limit or prevent such failure. Structure for cleaning, including squeegee elements movable between an insertion configuration and a cleaning configuration, and other materials and configurations, are also disclosed.
