The shape-correcting and rolling method includes: transferring a hot-rolled coil to a pay-off reel after cooling the hot-rolled coil or directly through a hot rolling to skin pass mill direct transfer process; unwinding the coil from the pay-off reel; correcting a shape of a strip unwound from the coil by using a heat pipe roller; and rewinding the strip as a coil.

The method includes: providing a cold rolled steel sheet by cold rolling; plating the cold rolled steel sheet to manufacture a plated steel sheet; and temper rolling the plated steel sheet by inserting the plated steel sheet into a temper rolling mill. A long-wavelength waviness (Wsa1-5) of a final stand rolling roll is 0.4 m or less (not including 0) during the cold rolling.

The steel plate has a yield strength of 600 MPa, a tensile strength of 650 MPa, an elongation after fracture of 12%, a good strength and toughness and an excellent corrosion resistance.

A method of forming and processing a high strength aluminum alloy for the production of a vehicle component includes providing a metal sheet that was rolled from an aluminum alloy. The sheet is heat treated through a first aging step of a set of aging steps that are necessary to achieve a T6 or a T7 temper state. Prior to achieving the T6 or a T7 temper state, the sheet is formed to a desired shape and welded in the desired shape to produce a desired vehicle component. Once formed, the vehicle component is heat treated through a remaining aging step to achieve a T6 or T7 temper state homogeneously throughout the vehicle component.

In a ferritic stainless steel sheet, the arithmetic average roughness Ra is 0.2 m or more and 1.2 m or less. In addition, the dull pattern transfer rate on the steel sheet surface is 15% or more and 70% or less. In addition, a film formed on the steel sheet surface is constituted from an oxide containing SiO.sub.2 as a main constituent, which oxide contains at least Si, N, Al, Mn, Cr, Fe, Nb, Ti and O as film-forming elements other than C, wherein the Si content is 10 at % or more, and the N content is 10 at % or less.
