The processor is configured to communicate with an external device through the wireless interface module and with a secure receptacle that is mated with one of the one or more docking locations. The smart carrier also has a battery disposed within the housing and configured to provide all operational power to the processor, the wireless interface module, and the one or more docking locations.
TROCHE MOLD ASSEMBLY
A troche mold assembly includes a cover defining a receiving area and a tray removably positioned in the receiving area. The tray includes a frame having a top side and a bottom side opposite from the top side. The frame defines a plurality of cells, and each cell is configured to receive a medicament. The tray also includes a plurality of buttons. Each button is within a corresponding cell and is between the top side and the bottom side of the frame. In some aspects, wherein each button includes a center portion, a first hinge line adjacent to the cell wall, and a second hinge line between the first hinge line and the center portion. In various aspects, the cover includes a locating rib, and the tray is removably positioned within the receiving area such that the locating rib contacts the top side of the frame.
System and method for generating an integrated label for container housing multi-script pouches
A system for integrating and labeling a plurality of tablet orders is described. The system comprises a graphical user interface configured to receive one or more inputs for a plurality of tablets associated with a particular patient. A software module is configured to compile the inputs into an integrated order. The system further comprises an integrated label coupled to a package containing a dose comprised of the plurality of tablets input into the graphical user interface. The integrated label indicates information about the first dose and the second dose.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ITEM MANAGEMENT
Item-management systems, apparatus, and methods are described, preferably for management of items such as medicaments. In embodiments, an item-management system comprises a container defining plural cells, a docking station configured to receive the container, sources of visible information to indicate the cell(s) into which an item is to be loaded, and at least one controller operable to control the visible information sources to indicate the cell into which the item is to be received.
Device and method for packaging solid medicaments, device for storing and dispensing such medicaments, and dispensing method
The invention relates to a device (1) for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in a divided solid pharmaceutical dosage form forming at least one cell for storing and dispensing such a unit dose, each cell comprising: a dish (11) delimiting a volume (15) for storing such a unit dose; a cover (12) adapted to close the storage volume; a partition (13) adapted to be able to extend into the storage volume of the dish and to delimit a plurality of compartments (20) therein for keeping the medicaments of the unit dose separate from one another, characterised in that the partition (13) extending into the dish (11) is able to be removed from the dish (11). The invention also relates to a packaging method, to a device for storing and dispensing such medicaments and to a method for dispensing such medicaments to a patient.
Relay tray
A relay tray for securely transporting items includes a lockable transportable container for holding items to be transported, and an electronic controller including a processor. The relay tray receives electric power through a power interface, and includes a commination interface through which the controller can communicate electronically. The relay tray includes a mechanism operable under control of the controller to make items in the locked container accessible in response to communications received via the communication interface, the mechanism operable by the controller only when power is being received through the power interface. In some implementations, the power interface includes four electrical contacts on an outside surface of the container for receiving power and a rectifier that produces voltage of a polarity suitable for powering the controller. The power interface may function as the communication interface.
