A storage container for a storage and dispensing station for a blister machine for separable small piece goods, such as drug portions and food supplement portions, and a storage and dispensing station are provided. The storage container includes a housing having an inside circular-cylindrical portion, a separating device arranged in the inside circular-cylindrical portion having a surface, as well as a retaining assembly. The separating device includes an electrically dischargeable discharging device, the discharging device having at least one discharging projection extending from the surface of the separating device as well as a discharging contactor coupled in an electrically dischargeable manner to the at least one discharging projection for electrically coupling the discharging device to an electrically dischargeable component of a dispensing station coupled to the storage container, the dispensing station having a drive.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for the automated dispensing of articles
Provided herein is a system for automated dispensing of articles. Systems may include: a robotic arm; an end-of-arm tool attached to the robotic arm; a scanning device proximate the end-of-arm tool; and a controller to control the robotic arm and the end-of-arm tool. The end-of-arm tool may include a body and two or more vacuum cups extending from the body, where the controller controls a level of suction provided to each of the two or more vacuum cups individually. Each of the two or more vacuum cups extending from the body may be movable between a retracted position proximate the body, and an extended position away from the body of the end-of-arm tool in response to instruction from the controller. Suction may be provided only to the vacuum cups of the two or more vacuum cups that are disposed in the extended position.
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for using machine learning in detecting drug diversion
According to one method for using machine learning in detecting drug diversion, the method comprises receiving, as input, an observed drug dispensation amount associated with a drug dispensation event related to a drug provider along with other drug dispensation event data, wherein the drug dispensation event data comprises drug provider information, procedure information, and patient information; generating, using a trained drug diversion detection algorithm and the drug dispensation event data, an expected drug dispensation amount associated with the drug dispensation event and determining, using the observed drug dispensation amount and the expected drug dispensation amount, whether the observed drug dispensation amount is aberrant, wherein the drug diversion detection algorithm includes at least one machine learning algorithm and is trained using one or more data sets associated with related drug dispensation events; and outputting, by the drug diversion detection algorithm, information indicating that the observed drug dispensation amount is aberrant.
Method and apparatus of secure storage for dispensing of opioids (SSDO)
A method and apparatus for Secure Storage and Dispensing of Opioid (SSDO) or other controlled substances while providing remote assistance and monitoring. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a motorized medication tray for automatic dispensing of pills with optional blister pack containing sealed medication. The device further comprises of a secure tamper resistant housing mechanism, plurality of sensors along with a wireless communication module to notify the remote operators in case of illegal and unauthorized access. The current invention can be configured into multiple embodiments including but not limited to a mobile wearable device capable of attaching to a person's wrist, arm, foot and other body parts.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR SECURELY DISPENSING ONE OR MORE PRESCRIBED SUBSTANCES TO A SECURELY IDENTIFIED INTENDED USER
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for securely dispensing one or more prescribed substances at a given time and/or date are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, a pill dispensing device may include a generally tamper-proof portable housing. A replaceable cartridge may be configured to be removably disposed within the portable housing. The replaceable cartridge also may be generally tamper-proof. The portable housing and/or the replaceable cartridge may be operable to dispense a predefined amount of a prescribed substance at a given time and/or date.
A Tablet Dispensing Device
A tablet dispensing device, comprising: a tubular container body including two extremities, a tubular side wall in between, the tubular side wall defining an internal dispensing space capable of receiving a tablet to be dispensed, and a tablet dispensing opening formed on the tubular side wall; a sleeve configured to slide longitudinally over the tubular side wall and between the two extremities, between a first position, in which the sleeve covers in an airtight manner the tablet dispensing opening, and a second position, in which the sleeve uncovers the tablet dispensing opening. This device is an improved device for the distribution of tablets.
WALKER HANDLES
In accordance with one or more embodiments of the invention, removably attachable walker handles are presented, including a substantially ring-shaped handle portion, a walker mating portion, and a fastening mechanism, where the handles provide expanded handles, vertically and horizontally, when engaged to a standard walker. The walker handles facilitate improved posture and handling when engaged with a standard walker.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PORTABLE PILL DISPENSERS WITH VARIOUS DISPENSING MECHANISMS
Portable pill dispensers are disclosed herein. The portable pill dispenser may include a container configured to house at least one pill therein, a housing attachable to the container, and a dispensing mechanism disposed within the housing. In one configuration, the dispensing mechanism includes one or more rotating gates disposed about the ramp to control the movement of the at least one pill to the dispensing mechanism.
Object-detecting container apparatus
An object container apparatus includes a housing, a sensor sheet, and one or more computer processors coupled to the sensor sheet. The housing comprises one or more interior surfaces forming a cavity. The sensor sheet is positioned within the cavity and comprises one or more arrays of capacitive touch pads. The one or more arrays of capacitive touch pads are arranged substantially parallel to each other in order to form a space within the cavity where an object can be inserted. The one or more computer processors are coupled to the one or more arrays of capacitive touch pads and configured to process capacitance measurements derived from the one or more arrays of capacitive touch pads. The object container apparatus functions to detect an object in the space via processing of capacitance measurements by the one or more computer processors.
Medicine case and medicine supply device
This medicine case comprises: a case body for accommodating a medicine, the case body being such that a discharge opening for the medicine is provided in a bottom part thereof; and a rotating member disposed inside the case body, the rotating member rotating about a rotating shaft.
