A spout pouch, configured to removably couple to a feeding device, for feeding liquid to a child includes a spout having an inner surface that includes at least one feature selected from the group consisting of a ridge, rib, boss, recess, groove and step. The inner surface is configured to engage with a portion of the feeding device when the portion of the feeding device is inserted into the spout. The spout pouch also includes a pouch of flexible material coupled to the spout and configured to hold the liquid. Other systems, methods, and components are also provided.

A receptacle has at least one elastomeric sidewall with a contoured non-linear shape defining a container with a predetermined volume for housing a substance to be contained. The at least one sidewall includes a substance-contacting surface. The receptacle is fully reversibly eversible to transform between a first stable conformation with the substance-contacting surface facing inward and a second stable conformation with the substance-contacting surface facing outward allowing for facile cleaning and drying of the substance-contacting surface. The at least one elastomeric sidewall possesses sufficient structural strength to stand upright in the first and second stable conformations without extraneous support. The receptacle can include a cap and an attachment joint for securing the cap to the elastomeric receptacle.

A child feeding system includes a spout pouch having a spout and a pouch formed integrally with the spout and configured to hold a liquid for feeding to a child, and a holder having a top and a body, the top having an opening configured to laterally receive and removably secure the spout to the holder when the spout is pushed transversely into the opening, the opening partially surrounding the spout, and the body having an interior area configured to receive at least a portion of the pouch. A child feeding system includes a spout pouch having a spout and a pouch coupled to the spout and configured to hold a liquid for feeding to a child, a device coupled to the spout of the spout pouch and configured to allow the liquid to flow into or out from the pouch, and a holder having a top and a body, the top having an opening configured to laterally receive and removably secure the spout to the holder when the spout is pushed transversely into the opening, and the body having an interior area configured to receive at least a portion of the pouch. An impact-resistant portable container protector used during transportation of a liquid, wherein the portable container protector is capable of heating or cooling a liquid within the container during transportation in an automobile or other mobile vehicle. The heating is typically achieved using an electrically-powered heating jacket, or cooling is achieved using a removable cooling packet which may be placed within the impact-resistant portable container protector. Heat transfer from the heating jacket or cooling packet may be improved by use of an agitator which may be present within the container. The agitator may be turned by a magnetic coupling. Power to operate the heating jacket and the agitator, when present, is supplied by a battery which is internal to the portable container protector. Additional power may be supplied to the battery using an external power feed such as a USB type connection or other connection of the kind typically present in an automobile or other motor vehicle.

A sanitary disposable bag is described for attachment to a breastmilk pump for containing breastmilk that can be easily and efficiently manufactured, packaged and used. A plastic bag adapted to contain milk, such as a bag formed by two sheets of plastic constituting a front and a back sheet that are in facial engagement and are joined to each other by a series of seals in such manner to define a sealable liquid containing portion of the bag. The bag includes a hanger attachment portion of the bag, which in one form is a strap, sized and shaped to suspend the bag in place with a milk outlet of the pump.

Briefly, a feeding device embodying features of the present invention approximately conforms to the shape of a human breast and includes at least one housing for storing fluid coupled to a dispensing portion having an apertured dispensing tip for delivering the fluid to an infant.

Human milk is used sparingly in infants that require g-tube feeding due to observations from studies using syringe pumps that show loss of macronutrients with continuous feeding. Macronutrient losses using human milk and elemental formula is addressed according to the present disclosure with a top-infusing feeding bag to enhance the delivery of fats, thereby encouraging more rehabilitation programs to use human milk and potentially reduce health care costs.

A beverage formula container for use with a beverage receptacle, the beverage formula container including a container body extending from a first open end configured for dispensing a beverage to a second open end configured for attachment to a beverage receptacle body of the beverage receptacle, the container body including a flared section and an at least partially deformable section in proximity of the flared section and a sealing member configured to be inserted into the second end so as to sealingly engage an inner surface of the container body proximate the flared section so as to form a chamber between the sealing member and the first end, the chamber being configured to receive beverage formula therein, and wherein deformation of the deformable section allows the sealing member to disengage the inner surface of the container body and pass through the flared section and the second end, thereby releasing beverage formula through the second end into an attached beverage receptacle body.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a multi-compartment baby formula pouch, comprising: a foil pouch; a chamber containing a formula in powder form; a chamber containing a liquid; and a frangible seal, wherein the frangible seal is broken when pressure is applied allowing the powder and the liquid to mix.
