Portable, Modular Pipe Bending Machine
A pipe bending machine or apparatus that has stacks of laminated steel plates pinned or bolted together to form the machine. The pipe bending machine has two primary parts, one sliding in another. And the pipe bending machine is actuated by a hydraulic piston or some other actuator. Activation or actuation causes pipe bending dies to move towards each other bending pipe in a standard pipe bending arrangement. All components of the machine fit through an access port of an industrial tank. The apparatus can be disassembled and assembled onsite including inside of an industrial tank for use and disassembled in the tank for removal and transit away from the site.
CONDUIT BENDER
A portable, self-contained conduit bender having a housing configured to house a reductive gear set, thereby improving safety and extending the life of the conduit bender by limiting exposure of the reductive gear set to dust and debris. The conduit bender includes a motor configured to drive a driven shaft at a first rotational output, a reductive gear set operably coupling the driven shaft to an output shaft, the reductive gear set configured to reduce the first rotational output of the driven shaft to a second rotational output of the output shaft, a housing defining an interior cavity configured to house the reductive gear set, such that only a portion of the output shaft emerges from the interior cavity, and a bender shoe coupleable to the output shaft, the bender shoe defining an arcuate channel configured to receive conduit during bending operations.
Geared Conduit Bender
A tool, such as a conduit bender, that includes a gear assembly for providing a mechanical advantage when bending a workpiece conduit. The gear assembly comprises a pinion gear rotatably coupled to a handle, the handle including a pin that can be selectively engaged with the pinion gear. The conduit bender also includes a shoe with teeth that protrude radially inward from a curved outer portion. When the conduit bender is in use, the teeth of the pinion gear engage with the teeth of the shoe.
Spinal fixation rod bending instrument
An instrument for bending a surgical implant about a bending axis includes a handle defining a receiving area for receiving the surgical implant. A lever is pivotably connected to the handle about a pivot axis that can be orthogonal to the bending axis. A movable linkage can be connected to the lever for movement with the lever. The moveable linkage can be configured to bend the surgical implant about the bending axis upon pivoting the lever about the pivot axis.
Systems and Methods for Performing Spine Surgery
A digitizer pointer is provided as part of a system for correcting a curvature or deformity in a patient's spine based on the digitized locations of implanted screws and tracking the placement of the rod as it is placed in a minimally invasive fashion. The digitizer pointer is includes an offset adjustment feature, a swivel feature, and a translation feature.
Dilation apparatus with malleable feature and apparatus to bend malleable feature
An apparatus includes a guide member configured with stress limiting features which function to prevent the stress from bending the guide member causing ovalization of the guide member. An apparatus for bending a guide member includes a ram die and a pressure die which are configured to fully encircle the portion of the guide member during the bending operation. A fixture for supporting a guide member during bending is configured to fully encircle sections of the guide member during bending.

Conduit marking device
The conduit marking device comprises a slotted, marked measuring handle for a conduit bender. The measuring handle may be a replacement for the handle provided with the conduit bender. The measuring handle of the conduit marking device provides the ability to easily measure, mark, and align conduit in order to obtain precise results for the bends. The measuring handle is hollow and tubular and a piece of conduit may be inserted into the measuring handle from one end of the handle. The measuring handle incorporates slots, which allow the conduit to be seen through portions of the handle. Measuring indicia on the measuring handle allow specific locations on the conduit to be located and the locations may be marked through the slots on the measuring handle.
Electronic sensors, methods, and systems for pipe benders
An apparatus for determining an angle of a handle of a pipe bender includes a sensor configured to determine an orientation angle of the sensor and a display configured to display the orientation angle of the sensor. The apparatus further includes a housing configured to attach to the handle of the pipe bender. The sensor is within the housing.
