Systems and methods for performing spine surgery
A mechanical rod bender is provided for correcting a curvature or deformity in a patient's spine based on the digitized locations of implanted screws and tracking the placement of the rod as it is placed in a minimally invasive fashion. The mechanical rod bender includes a fixed die and a movable die, the movable die having multiple rod contact channels to accommodate spinal rods of different sizes.
Spinal Fixation Rod Bending Instrument
An instrument for bending a surgical implant about a bending axis includes a handle defining a receiving area for receiving the surgical implant. A lever is pivotably connected to the handle about a pivot axis that can be orthogonal to the bending axis. A movable linkage can be connected to the lever for movement with the lever. The moveable linkage can be configured to bend the surgical implant about the bending axis upon pivoting the lever about the pivot axis.
Tubing bender
A portable tubing bender configured to automatically bend a portion of tubing according to a defined set of bend specifications, including a desired number of bends and a desired angle for each bend. The portable tubing bender including a driver configured to rotate a driven shaft and a first rotational output, a reductive gear set operably coupling the driven shaft to an output shaft, a bender shoe couplable to the output shaft, the bender shoe defining an arcuate channel configured to receive tubing during bending operations, and an automatic feed mechanism configured to advance the tubing relative to the bender shoe from an initial position to a bend position.
Viewing tool used in the operation of hand bending pipe
One embodiment of a mirror or reflective surface is set onto a ridged material. The mirror or reflective surface is set at a precise angle by support legs that inserted into holes in the ridged material. The support legs can also be placed in storage notches in ridged material.
AUTOMOTIVE BENDING TOOL AND METHOD OF REPAIRING AUTOMOBILE TURBOCHARGER SYSTEM WITHOUT REMOVING OR DISASSEMBLING COMPONENTS OF THE TURBOCHARGER
A bending tool for shortening the length of a wastegate actuator arm (or linkage) of a turbocharger system of an automobile by applying or otherwise creating a bend or dent in a wastegate actuator arm to repair a leaky wastegate, and a method of repairing a leaky wastegate valve of a turbocharger system of an automobile without disassembling or removing components of the turbocharger system.
Portable tube bender
A tube bender includes a bending tool and a bending base connected to the bending tool. The bending tool has an arched member. The bending base has a first plate, a second plate, a first block, and a second block. The first plate is separated from the second plate to form a bending space therebetween. The first and the second blocks are received in the bending space and pivoted on both the first plate and the second plate. A tube is adapted to be rested on the first and the second blocks while the arched member is able to be moved toward the tube to bend the tube. The first block and the second block are rotated automatically according to a curvature of the tube being bent.
TUBE BENDING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A bending wheel of a tube bending apparatus includes a tube-accepting recess, proximal and distal wheel faces, and a rotation recess. The proximal wheel face includes a lever pivot anchor. A cam insert includes a shaft having a tool driving feature. The shaft is configured for selective insertion into the rotation recess. The cam insert includes a camming flange, which includes a lever urging feature. A keeper lever includes a keeper finger rigidly connected to a laterally extending lever arm and extending longitudinally from the proximal wheel face. An anchor end of the lever arm includes an arm pivot feature and a spaced-apart cam following feature configured to interact with the lever urging feature. Rotation of the cam insert causes rotation of the lever urging feature to drive the cam following feature of the keeper lever and pivot the lever arm in the same rotational direction.
CONDUIT BENDER
A tool for bending an elongated workpiece includes a shaft having a first shaft portion and a second shaft portion, and a coupling assembly coupling the first shaft portion and the second shaft portion. The coupling assembly has a locked configuration in which the coupling assembly inhibits movement of the first shaft portion relative to the second shaft portion and an unlocked configuration in which the coupling assembly permits movement of the first shaft portion relative to the second shaft portion. The tool also includes a shoe coupled to the second shaft portion. The shoe has a curved bottom portion and a hook configured to hold the workpiece against the curved bottom portion. The curved bottom portion is engageable with the workpiece to bend the workpiece.
Multi-Part Conduit Bender Handle
A multi-part conduit bender handle preferably includes at least a lower tube and an upper tube. The lower tube preferably has an outer diameter, which allows a ? male national pipe tap (NPT) to be formed on opposing ends thereof. One end of the lower tube is threaded into a female ? NPT in a conduit bender head. An inner diameter of the upper tube is preferably sized to receive a ? EMT conduit. A modified ? female NPT is formed in one end of the upper tube and an opposing end is left open for insertion of the ? EMT conduit. The first modification difference is the inner diameter of the upper tube is preferably enlarged to about 1.00 inch on one end and the second modification difference is the depth of the modified ? NPT threads is preferably increased to about 0.85 inches.
