Pipe component and method for manufacturing a pipe component
A pipe component with an outer pipe element and at least one inner pipe element arranged inside the outer pipe element is provided. The outer pipe element is formed as a flexible pipe element with a plurality of projections, in particular corrugations, and/or at least one corrugated portion. On at least one point the outer pipe element and the at least one inner pipe element each have a projection pointing to the outside in a radial direction, wherein the outside of the projection of the at least one inner pipe element at least partly flatly rests against the inside of the projection of the outer pipe element or of another inner pipe element, so that by means of the projections a connection exists between the at least one inner pipe element and the outer pipe element. The invention furthermore relates to a method for manufacturing a pipe component.

FORM-ROLLING DEVICE
A form-rolling device for processing a tubular member may include a shaft rotatable around a first axis, a first grooving portion that protrudes from an outer circumference of the shaft; a second grooving portion that is rotatable around a second axis parallel to the first axis; a flange-shaped tube-end positioning member that is attached to a position of the outer circumference of the shaft nearer to a base end than the first grooving portion, and a supporting member that supports an outer circumference of a ring member held on an outer circumference of the tubular member.
Corrugated steel pipe and method for manufacturing the same
A corrugated steel pipe is disclosed. The corrugated steel pipe comprises a plurality of unit steel pipes, which are continuous in the axial direction. Each unit steel pipe comprises a first cylindrical pipe obtained by bending a first unit steel plate into a cylindrical shape, both ends of the first unit steel plate abutting each other and forming a first seam on one side of the first cylindrical pipe; and a second cylindrical pipe obtained by bending a second unit steel plate into a cylindrical shape, both ends of the second unit steel plate abutting each other and forming a second seam on one side of the second cylindrical pipe. The second cylindrical pipe is bent into a cylindrical shape and folded on the outer surface of the first cylindrical pipe so that the inner surface of the second unit steel pipe surrounds the first seam. The second seam is positioned not to correspond to the first seam.
Apparatus and method for impressing a corrugation into a pipe
An apparatus has a corrugating device through which a pipe is moved producing corrugation in the circumferential direction of the pipe by rotation. The corrugating device has a corrugator head which is rotatable about its axis, and a hollow shaft on which the corrugator head is firmly fitted and via which the corrugator head is driveable in rotation. A vibration measuring means is connected mechanically to the corrugating device for automatically detecting mechanical vibrations of the rotating corrugating device. The vibration measuring means simultaneously detects measured values for vibrations of the hollow shaft which are characteristic of the state of the hollow shaft bearings and measured values for vibrations of the corrugator head which are characteristic of the balancing thereof. A display apparatus displays the measured values detected thereby and/or evaluation results based on the measured values is furthermore provided.

Metal bellows for downhole use
A metal bellows for downhole use includes: a bellows capsule with a first end and a second end; an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side arranged between the first end and the second end; where the bellows capsule comprises a first bellows convolution and second bellows convolution and optionally additional bellows convolutions; and each bellows convolution comprises: a root on the inner diameter side of the bellows capsule; a first sidewall extending from the root toward the outer diameter side of the bellows capsule with a first connection point at the distal end; a second sidewall extending from the root toward the outer diameter side of the bellows capsule with a second connection point at the distal end and wherein the second sidewall is on the opposite side of the root as the first sidewall; wherein: the bellows convolutions are formed as a single piece; and the second sidewall connection point of the first bellows convolution is permanently affixed to the first sidewall connection point of the second bellows convolution.
Nest dies, indent crimp die sets, and crimp tools having such die sets
A nest die for mechanically securing an electrical connector to a conductor wire is provided. The nest die includes a conductor receipt area and a lip. The receipt area has an outer periphery and a bottom surface. The lip is at the outer periphery of the receipt area. The outer periphery is sufficient to receive a free end of the conductor wire abutting the bottom surface and a lower face of the electrical connector on the lip. In this manner, the nest die can be used to easily and reproducibly seat the electrical connector in the die at a predetermined position on the conductor wire.
Crimping device
A machine used in tube fabrication, wherein the machine imparts a locating feature near an end of a tube when the tube is located between a clamp die and a bend die of the machine by using a crimp die to form detents and bulges in the tube. The locating feature enables the tube to be located in a larger tube.
