Method for producing a clamping ring
A method for producing a clamping ring in which pins that protrude in the region of or near a ring contour are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of a flat sheet metal material and after the ring contour is cut out, burrs that are produced during the cutting are removed by a deburring process. Advantages for the machining of the clamping ring are achieved if before a finish cutting by a complete cutting-out of the ring contour that is carried out from the one side of the flat sheet metal material, the ring contour is partially cut out from the other side in the vicinity of or near the pin protruding from this other side.
DOOR SKIN, A METHOD OF ETCHING A PLATE FOR FORMING A WOOD GRAIN PATTERN IN THE DOOR SKIN, AND AN ETCHED PLATE FORMED THEREFROM
The present invention is directed to a door skin having an exterior surface with an woodgrain pattern formed therein, and an etched plate for use as an embossing plate or with a molded die set, for forming the woodgrain pattern in the door skin. The exterior surface has outer portions lying on a first plane, spaced grooves recessed from the plane of the outer portions, and halftone portions. The halftone portions have spaced protrusions defined by channels, wherein the channels are recessed from the plane of the outer portions.
Stamping device
A stamping device has: a die seat that a metal sheet, as a workpiece, abuts; and a stamping punch configured to stamp a character to be stamped onto a front surface of the metal sheet by pressing the stamping punch onto a stamped region of the metal sheet from the front surface side of the metal sheet. A stamp-receiving region that corresponds to the stamped region is provided on a front surface of the die seat, and, in this stamp-receiving region, plural dents are provided in such a manner as to correspond to the stamped region of the single character to be stamped.

HEAVY-DUTY CONNECTIONS E.G. FOR AXLE/SUSPENSION SYSTEMS
A vehicle component such as an axle spindle or suspension beam (3) is connected to a tubular vehicle axle (1) by fitting a connector sleeve (2) onto the axle and subjecting the assembly to a crimping operation in which plural depressions (206,2018) are formed by indentation in the connector sleeve and the axle wall at the connection region (11,12) to fix the connector sleeve on the tubular axle. In the described proposals a solid lubricant (4) such as molybdenum disulphide is applied at the connection region between the connector sleeve (2) and axle (1), before crimping. The further vehicle component (3) is then connected to the connector sleeve (2) by welding.
CROSS BAR FOR POWDER COATING AND ELECTRONIC COATING
A cross bar for powder coating and electronic coating, and methods for forming the same, are provided. A connector extends between a front portion and a rear portion. Embosses are located in the front and rear portions to connect with each other. Drain holes are provided at spaced intervals along the front and rear portions, offset from one another.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRESS MOLDED PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing a press molded product includes forming a plurality of corner portions in a pressed portion of a pressed member, providing the pressed member between a first die and a second die, and press molding the pressed portion to decrease a height of the pressed portion. The press molding includes forming a pair of first bent portions in the pressed portion by means of the corner portions, the pair of first bent portions being bent to protrude toward the second die, forming a second bent portion in the pressed portion by means of the corner portions while holding the pair of first bent portions by a pair of holding portions, the second bent portion being bent to protrude toward the first die from a position between the pair of first bent portions, and pressing and deforming the second bent portion.
Web component and method of making a web component
A web component suitable for use with a snap-fit assembly is disclosed herein. The web component includes, but is not limited to, a sheet metal member that has a periphery and a first side and a second side. The sheet metal member also includes a plurality of protrusions that extend from a first surface of the first side and from a second surface of the second side. The plurality of protrusions are disposed proximate a portion of the periphery and are configured to engage a female receiver associated with the snap-fit assembly.
