Separation component for a feeding bottle device

The present invention relates to a separation component (10) for a feeding bottle device (1) and a corresponding feeding bottle device (1). The separation component (10) provides a separation between a container space (2) of the baby bottle device (1) and a feeding space (3) for providing liquid to an infant, the separation component (10) comprising a hole wall portion (30) surrounding a hole (32) through the separation component (10) for allowing a passage of fluid from the container space (2) to the feeding space (3) therethrough, wherein the hole wall portion (30) is formed such that, when a pressure of the feeding space (3) side is lower than a pressure of the container space (2) side, a minimum cross-sectional area of the hole (32) is reduced with increased pressure difference between feeding space (3) and container space (2). A decreased risk of overfeeding an infant is achieved.

Automatic breastfeeding method of premature infant and automatic breastfeeding machine

An automatic breastfeeding method of a premature infant is disclosed, which includes a preparation stage, an active lactation stage, a passive lactation stage and a rest stage. The invention also provides an automatic breastfeeding machine used for the automatic breastfeeding method of a premature infant, comprising a stomach tube, a lactation supply device, a detector and a control device. According to the invention, a self-sucking ability of the premature infant is trained, normal circulation of a mouth-pharyngeal-gastric-intestinal reflex of the premature infant is realized, and nutritional requirements of the premature infant are ensured in the case of taking differences of the premature infants into account, so that the premature infants have no difference with term infants in care, diet, neurological development and growth and development in the future.

TEAT FOR USE WITH A CONTAINER FOR CONTAINING LIQUID

A teat (1) comprises a hollow teat body (10) including a deformable hollow mouthpiece (11) and a normally-closed valve (30) arranged at a level of the mouthpiece (11) or a level more downstream, the valve (30) being openable under the influence of suction forces exerted to the mouthpiece (11) by a user of the teat (1) during a liquid intake action. The valve (30) is included in a valve area (32) of a valve body (31) that is configured and arranged to prevent a closed-opened condition of the valve (30) from being changed under the influence of deformation of the mouthpiece (11) inflicted by a user of the teat (1) during a liquid intake action, so that the closed-opened condition of the valve (30) is controllable by means of suction forces exerted to the mouthpiece (11) by a user of the teat (1) during a liquid intake action.

System comprising of a simulating flow control breastfeeding where a tube linking a refillable housing chamber to a prosthetic nipple, an analyzing module linked to a sensor to determine a physical, physiological, or emotional state of the infant/user by mapping the received input parameter with a pre-stored set of parameters from the parameter store via the analyzing module and dynamically interact with the infant/user based on a determined output to promote a non-latching simulating breastfeeding experience to prevent bruised, sore nipples or engorged breasts.

Feeding transition nipple mechanism and system

A feeding transition system for transitioning an infant subject to oral feeding includes at least one no-flow nipple and at least one flow nipple. The no-flow nipple has a fully enclosed tip portion such that no fluid can flow directly from the nipple cavity through the nipple wall. The flow nipple is formed of a no-flow nipple having an aperture formed in the tip portion for flowing fluid from the nipple cavity through the nipple wall. The system includes a bolus delivery nipple formed of a no-flow nipple including a bolus delivery conduit disposed in the nipple cavity and in fluid communication with a reservoir of fluid. The bolus delivery conduit includes a conduit outlet attached to the nipple wall to output a bolus of fluid from the tip portion of the bolus delivery nipple via the outlet. A method for transitioning an infant subject to oral feeding is provided.

Described herein are improved infant feeding systems that mimic the texture and appearance of a mother's breast via improved curvature and asymmetrical contour placement to encourage latch and improved suckling of infants, as well as bottle nipples, pacifiers, medical dispensing tools and kits for same.

TEAT FOR USE WITH A CONTAINER FOR CONTAINING A FLUID

A teat for use with a fluid container comprises a deformable mouthpiece for an infant to suck on during a fluid intake action and an inner core (20) disposed within the mouthpiece. An exterior surface (21) of the inner core (20) is spaced from an interior surface of the mouthpiece at the position of a fluid pocket guiding face (22) of the exterior surface (21) of the inner core (20) so that a fluid duct between the mouthpiece and the inner core (20) is defined which allows the infant to perform a peristaltic fluid intake action. At least one of the interior surface of the mouthpiece and the exterior surface (21) of the inner core (20) has at least one protrusion (23) that is designed to form a fluid barrier between the mouthpiece and the inner core (20) at a position for delimiting the fluid duct at the sides thereof.
