Mold tool
A mold tool generally includes a base, a die assembly, a tightening element, a threaded element, and at least one shaping cap. The base defines a cutout, a first threaded hole opposite to the cutout, and a second threaded hole. The die assembly, composed of a first module and a second module, can be inserted into a receiving space of the base. The tightening element can be screwed into the second threaded hole of the base to fix the die assembly in place. The threaded element can be screwed into the first threaded hole of the base. The shaping cap can be fitted at one end of the threaded element. The die assembly defines channels of various diameters each for holding a tube of a specific diameter. The shaping cap can urge one end of a tube held in the die assembly to form a specific type of flare.

MACHINE FOR DEFORMATION MACHINING OF A TUBE AND/OR OF A COMPONENT ON THE TUBE
A machine for deformation machinings of a tube and/or of a component to be mounted to said tube, including a support frame, a bracket projecting in a cantilever manner from the support frame and a deformation unit engaged rotationally free with the bracket, the deformation unit in turn including a thrust group and a support head, the thrust group having a thrust actuator extending along an actuator axis, where the support head faces the thrust group and is suitable to support a tube portion during the machining, where the thrust group further includes a deformation head extending along a head axis offset with respect to the actuator axis, the offsetting between the actuator axis and the head axis is suitable to allow the deformation of the tube and/or of the component also when an end of the tube is close to a curvature of the tube itself.
Tool holders usable with tooling having different tang styles and/or configured with mechanically-actuated clamp assembly
Tool holder designs are described. In some cases, the tool holder has a clamp assembly that can be used with tools having different tang styles. The tool holder in some cases has at least two differing tolerance areas provided therein, wherein the tolerance areas provide complementary tolerance to the design. In some cases, the tool holder can have a mechanically actuatable mechanism that functions with one or more internal components that limit adjustment of the mechanism to prevent damage to one or more of tool and the tool holder when securing the tool therein.

Turret roll formers, forming roller cassettes and related articles and methods
A turret roll forming machine includes at least one turret assembly carrying multiple rows of tooling (e.g., forming rollers), rotatable about an axis to selectively align rows of tooling with an input or output. A transmission is accessible from an exterior of the turret assembly without disassembling of the turret assembly to perform a changeover of roll tooling and/or maintenance on gears, bearings, or shafts of the transmission. Thus, a chain drive may be employed, advantageously accommodating differing rotational speeds for top and bottom forming rollers of each pair of forming rollers, e.g. to reduce roll scuffing. Pairs of forming rollers may be provided as cassettes, which are removably coupleable to the turret assembly allowing quick and easy reconfiguration and/or servicing, minimizing negative effects of changeover. The turret assembly may be a unitary structure (e.g., a weldment) improving rigidity and increasing accuracy of roll forming operations.
Tool which is movable in an apparatus
The invention relates to a tool for shaping a material, in particular for bending plate material, comprising a mounting part configured to be in any case partially received in a receiving space of an apparatus, and a shaping part extending from the mounting part. The tool is provided with means for displacing the mounting part in longitudinal direction through the receiving space. The tool can thus be handled and positioned easily even when it is relatively heavy. The displacing means can comprise one or more displacing members protruding from the tool, for instance rollers or wheels. The invention also relates to a combination of an apparatus and such a tool, wherein the apparatus has a receiving space in which the mounting part of the tool is received. The receiving space here comprises a wall part on which the displacing means engage. Finally, the invention further relates to a method for positioning a tool as described above in an apparatus.

Quick-coupling panel straightening device
A panel straightening device including a bar supporting a draw rod movably mounted on the bar and an element for controlling the movement of the draw rod in relation to the bar. The draw rod includes at one of the ends thereof a first attachment feature to a tool for drawing the panel to be straightened. The drawing tool includes a second attachment feature, capable of cooperating with the first attachment feature of the draw rod. The first attachment features is connected to the second attachment feature by a sliding pivot connection.
