PRESSING TOOL
A pressing tool includes a housing and pressing jaws arranged outside the housing. One or both pressing jaws can be pivoted into the open position by a user's hand acting upon the respective pressing jaw that faces the housing. An actuating switch is formed on a pin-like holding projection having a longitudinal extent with a free end which protrudes from the housing at an acute or right angle. A dimension of the holding projection transverse to the longitudinal extent is smaller than a smallest diameter of the hand region.
CRIMPING APPARATUS AND CYLINDRICAL SECONDARY BATTERY MANUFACTURED THEREBY
A crimping apparatus configured to form a crimping portion in a cylindrical secondary battery. The crimping apparatus includes a protrusion configured to be inserted into a beading portion of the cylindrical secondary battery. A support length of the protrusion inserted into the beading portion is approximately 73% to approximately 83% of an indentation depth of the beading portion in an outer diameter direction of the cylindrical secondary battery.
SECONDARY BATTERY MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND SECODARY BATTERY MANUFACTURED USING THE SECONDARY BATTERY MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
A secondary battery manufacturing apparatus includes a plurality of jigs, each of the jigs including a support tip protruding in a direction toward a beading portion of a side portion of a can of a secondary battery, the support tip being inserted into the beading portion. In the state in which the support tips are inserted into the beading portion, the jigs bend an end of the side portion of the can by pressing to form a crimping portion. A load applied to the jigs may be dispersed even if the thickness of the can increases, thereby preventing damage to the jigs.
Radial press
A radial press is provided including a base, a hollow ring die mounted on the base rotatably relative to a press axis with an inner contour tapering in the direction of the axis and rotationally symmetrical, and a rolling element unit rotatable relative to the axis and having a pressure ring, which surrounds the axis, and a plurality of rolling elements arranged around the axis which are rotationally symmetrical. The rolling elements are supported on the pressure ring at a variable distance from the axis and can roll on the inner contour of the ring die. A rotary drive acts on the ring die or the rolling element unit and effects rotation about the axis. A feed drive also acts on the rolling element unit or the ring die and effects axial displacement of the rolling element unit and the ring die relative to each other.
Eccentric transmission for a power tool
Power tool, in particular a pipe press, including a drive, an output shaft, a threaded spindle drive and a linear actuator, wherein a torque generated by the drive is transmissible via the output shaft, and the threaded spindle drive connected to the output shaft, to the linear actuator. The power tool includes an eccentric transmission device for a torque adaptation between the drive and the threaded spindle drive, wherein the eccentric transmission device includes a drive eccentric, which is drivable by the drive, an eccentric gear, which is drivable by the drive eccentric, and a compensating coupling, which is drivable by the eccentric gear and which serves for transmitting torque from the eccentric gear to the output shaft.
DIE HOLDER VERIFICATION
A die verification system may include a die holder of a crimp machine, the die holder configured to receive die identification. The system may include a user interface, a data interface. The system may include a controller having one or more processors configured to: receive the die identification from the die holder, reference a crimp database with the die identification, fitting information and hose information; and verify that the die identification is suitable for a crimp process.
DIE SET IDENTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
A crimp machine die verification system 100 is disclosed, comprising a body housing circuitry positioned within, including a printed circuit board (PCB) holding the circuitry. The circuitry, controlled by one or more processors, is designed to store an identification for a die set, store related information, and transfer the die identification and related information upon activation.
CRIMPING APPARATUS FOR BATTERY CELL
The present disclosure relates to a crimping apparatus for a battery cell, and the technical object to be achieved is to provide a crimping apparatus for a battery cell capable of improving the formation quality of a battery cell. To this end, the present disclosure provides a crimping apparatus for a battery cell, which includes a lower jig disposed around a circumference of a battery can, a first upper jig which descends to come into contact with the lower jig above the battery can and presses and moves the lower jig toward the battery can, and a second upper jig which is disposed inside the first upper jig, descends along with the first upper jig, and presses an end portion of the battery can downward to bend the end portion toward a cap assembly.
System for connecting rigid pipes and for connecting flexible pipes, and fittings for such a system
The invention relates to a system for connecting rigid pipes and for connecting flexible pipes. The pipes have corresponding outer diameters, with a press jaw having a press contour, with at least one first fitting for press-fitting to a rigid pipe, the at least one first fitting having a first press sleeve with a first outer contour, with at least one second fitting for press-fitting to a flexible pipe, the at least one second fitting having a second press sleeve with a second outer contour, the at least one second fitting having a second press sleeve with a second outer contour has a second press sleeve with a second outer contour, the outer contour of the first press sleeve and the outer contour of the second press sleeve in each case being adapted at least in sections to the press contour of the press jaw of the press jaw and can be pressed by the press jaw and wherein the outer contours of the first press sleeve and of the second press sleeve correspond at least in sections. This system solves the technical problem of simplifying the on-site effort for installing piping systems. In particular, the task is to specify suitable combinations of fittings for rigid and flexible pipes.
Fitting crimping tool with check gauge mount
A crimping tool is for crimping at least two members together and confirming that the crimp is acceptable. The tool includes a first handle element and a second handle element, a first jaw pivotably coupled to the first handle element and a second jaw pivotably coupled to the second handle element such that the first and second jaws move between open and closed positions responsive to movement of the first and second handle elements, an insert assembly comprising a number of mounting members coupled to at least one of the first and second jaws, and at least one gauge removably coupled to at least one of the number of mounting members.
