FORMING SYSTEM

A disclosed forming system is a forming system which expands and forms a metal pipe in a die. The forming system includes a preliminary forming apparatus which preliminarily forms a metal pipe material, a forming apparatus which includes a gas supply unit which supplies gas into the preliminary-formed and heated metal pipe material to expand the metal pipe material and a main body portion to which the die is attached, and a cutting device which cuts at least a portion of the formed metal pipe. The gas supply unit is provided so as not to be disposed on a first straight line which connects the preliminary forming apparatus and the main body portion in a plan view and a second straight line which connects the cutting device and the main body portion in a plan view.

Disclosed is a transfer robot used for transferring a workpiece between presses in a press line, which can prevent a load from being intensively applied to only one spot while an arm of the transfer robot operates, thereby lowering maintenance.

The transfer robot includes a main plate which is formed horizontally and flat and of which a lengthwise direction is perpendicular to a transferring direction of the workpiece; a pair of arm units which are respectively hinge-coupled to both lengthwise ends of the main plate and include a plurality of arms rotating against each other on a plane parallel with the main plate; a workpiece coupling support which include opposite ends respectively coupling with the ends of the pair of arm units; and an elevating unit which moves the main plate up and down, each arm unit including a first arm coupling with the main plate 100 and rotating by a first motor and a second arm coupling with an end of the first arm and rotating as the first arm rotates, and the main plate sliding in the transferring direction of the workpiece with respect to the elevating unit.

SYSTEM FOR MONITORING VIBRATION RESPONSE OF METAL FLOW IN A PRESS STAMPING PROCESS

A die for stamping sheet metal comprises a first portion with a convex bead, a second portion with a concave channel, at least one accelerometer positioned near the concave channel. When a sheet metal is positioned between the first portion and the second portion, the first portion and the second portion are configured to be brought together so that the convex bead mates with the concave channel to apply a blank holding force (BHF) to the sheet metal to clamp the sheet metal. The at least one accelerometer measures a time domain parameter or profile or a frequency domain parameter or profile during the placement of the sheet metal.

Blanking mold, blanking and stacking apparatus, and blanking method

A die for a blanking device, a blanking accumulation device, and a blanking method are provided with which blanks having a length that is greater than a width of a metal coil can be blanked and accumulated in an accumulating device (piler), with a target orientation. The method includes a continuous metal coil that is received and is subjected to blanking using a die. The die has a shearing portion for blanking a blank. The shearing portion has an inclination angle relative to a line direction in which the blank is discharged. The die further includes, downstream of the shearing portion, a discharge means including an orientation changing means for changing an orientation of the blank from an inclined state having a first inclination angle, at the time at which shearing is complete, to a second larger inclination angle.

Trim press handler system

A trim press receiver for receiving an array of products from a trim press includes support elements, a strip away mechanism, and a pusher rake. The support elements are configured to receive arrays of products and support the arrays of products in rows of stacks. The strip away mechanism is configured to form gaps in the stacks of products. The pusher rake is configured to extend into the gaps and press portions of the stacks off the support elements.
